The hotel is in downtown Punta Cana which is a huge plus. Close from every place.
1. Check-In Delays: Despite checking in through the app, I still had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk.
2. No Room Service Before 11 AM: Forget about ordering anything in the morning—it’s simply not available.
3. Uncomfortable Room:
• No comforter on the bed.
• Air conditioning doesn’t go below 70°F, and it randomly shuts off with no way to control it.
• The TV is tilted awkwardly toward the ceiling.
4. Poor Amenities:
• Towels are so small they seem like they’re for children.
• The shower floods the entire bathroom.
5. Noise Issues: The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything, including:
• TVs and conversations from neighboring rooms.
• People blowing their noses.
• Construction noise from three floors down.
6. No Late Check-Out: Even though I’m a Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite member (which includes late check-out as a benefit), my request for late check-out was refused.
7. Horrible Food Service: They just served me a rotten egg with black mold on it.
This hotel completely fails to meet even the most basic standards. It’s not just disappointing—it’s unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
I THINK this is a brand new location. Either way, the hotel is lovely. The lobby smells incredible. The decor is modern and bright and very clean. We dealt with two different front desk staff member Wil and P Salas. They were both very friendly and lovely.
The room is minimal, but very clean. We had a king size with a view of the pool. The shower is one of the ones with no door, so if you don't like that you might be unhappy. But I loved it! I'd say the rooms are in between. small and medium. Perfect for sleeping, but if you want to hang out in the room more than you want to be out, then you may not enjoy the size.
The bed was firm, not plush. The AC works well though. We were nice and cool as we slept.
The only complaint I have is that the tvs don't come with Netflix or allow you to connect your own HDMI so you can watch shows from your computer. This is a very specific complaint though and it definitely not a make or break.
We did peek at the breakfast the morning we checked out and it looked delicious, but I cannot vouch for the quality.
It's very close to the mall, and the ubers in the area range from $2 to $5 USD. It is NOT walking distance to the beach, and I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere besides the mall. There aren't a lot of sidewalks so you'll be walking in the street if you do decide to walk somwhere.
Also, outside of the hotel, the locals do NOT speak English. Not even a little bit. So be sure to have your translator app handy if you don't speak Spanish.
Overall if you are planning to stay in Punta Cana and not on a resort, I would recommend this hotel.
The pool is great and the rooms too.
Staff were attentive and gave us blankets, extra extra towels. Nice pool too. I didn’t try the breakfast as it had limited options.
We ate out all through our stay and decided to eat our last dinner at the hotel restaurant! The food was excellent and I wish I had eaten more here.
I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again
