While at dinner at Kyoto, I was able to clearly see workers scooping ice into cups WITH THEIR BARE HANDS. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? It was on top of being told there are no reservations available at many of the restaurants on the resort. Through our guest service member, we were able to get reservations. The front desk was useless in that aspect. It could be seen in these restaurants that there were many empty tables too. The food at the buffets was horrible and undercooked most of the time. The sanitation was unfathomable. When you are at the pools, the smell is horrendous as it smells like straight sewage due to the fact that they empty all of the cups into the bushes around the pool. We had to book an earlier flight since we could not bare to be here longer than we should be. When complaining to management, the best they could do was give tickets to a water park when we are supposed to leave in 12 hours. This place is a joke.
Lobby for 4 hours to get a room. Find something more up to date and more accommodating. Hopefully these 3 days go by fast. Pick a better resort with better customer service
UPDATE. My balcony has been leaking for over 2 hours because the upstairs room. Called multiple times to get help and nobody responded. The worst guest service hospitality. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. Food is terrible, hospitality is a zero. Management is no help. Please save your money
I tried the Italian restaurant which was uninspired and cooked by people who have no idea what Italian food tastes like.
The Mexican restaurant was also very forgetful but it was better than the Italian.
The room was nice and spacious with a huge bed. There was also a Jacuzzi in the balcony but I didn't try it.
The fridge was restocked every day, including bottled water.
Lovely beach but there aren't a lot of sunbeds for all the hotel guests.
The pool is also nice and it's convenient that it's right by the beach and close to the bar.
The club is very weird, there are 3 almost naked dancers and the music seems to have stopped in time. I was transported back to the early 2000s.
I have traveled extensively around the world, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a resort. From start to finish, the stay was not only disappointing but also unsafe and unsanitary. The service was horrible. Staff at the bars and front desk were consistently rude, dismissive, and simply ignored guests. I had to switch rooms twice because the air conditioning was not working, and no one seemed to care or apologize.
The beach was absolutely filthy. It was not just seaweed—there was trash everywhere: cups, food, wrappers, and general waste scattered across the sand. It was disgusting and made it impossible to enjoy the beach. The only decent service was at the buffet and sports bar, where the waiters were genuinely kind and attentive.
There are practically no activities or entertainment options. If you are not in the sports bar or casino, you are left with nothing to do.
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, stay far away from this place. Cross-contamination is everywhere. The same utensils are used for all kinds of foods, and some dishes don’t even have tongs. I was told by a cook to just “use whatever tongs you find.” Many food labels were either wrong or missing, so it was impossible to know what you were eating unless it was obvious. This is extremely dangerous for anyone with food restrictions.
On top of everything, the food was terrible. Bland, cold, and poorly presented. Overall, this resort was a nightmare. I would never recommend it to anyone.
