Excellent hotel. Value for money. The accommodation is outdated, but nice enough. The food is varied, for every taste. The hotel staff are wonderful people! They do their job conscientiously and are friendly. Anti-Covid measures are 5! Disinfection, masks, gloves, everything is in place! I would like to add entertainment.

Love the beach and the pool. The happiness providers were awesome taught my senior trip girls some dances. Had a great stay.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing location however there is a lot of room for improvement.
The room service lacks a lot. The room is not properly clean, there is always a towel or water missing. They basically do the bed and that is it. Also you definitely have to upgrade the room for the privilege option otherwise the room is terrible. Old, the door had a big gap underneath, the fridge was not working and the smell was not good.
Also, the food they have a lot of variety however if you have allergies or intolerance is difficult because there is cross contamination.
We booked a Japanese restaurant and told them we were vegan, they said it was okay and then served us cream cheese and eggs, just as an example . Also, I killed a cockroach in the middle of the food area in the buffet!
Some staff are really on island time, you order a drink in the beggining of the meal and would get it at the end.
The staff is mostly rude and seems to be unhappy all the time (for example you order a coffee or a juice and it seems like you are asking them to give you a kidney), except for a few ones.
The reusable cups are also not properly clean (there were things like lip balm marks from previous guests), so bring your own.
The kids area had several broken bits and the pool was too small.
The hotel as an amazing potential, needs to improve cleaning and staff friendliness.
Unfortunately will not come back again.

Overall the resort is beautiful, however the reception staff was very rude and didn't have rooms ready for our group of 16 when we had reserved over 5 months ago. We arrived at the hotel around 2:30pm and didn't get checked in until 7pm. Rooms are nice but the fridge in there doesn't work. Will not recommend

Chocolate (Yery) was the best staff!!!! He was part of the entertainment crew and he was the absolute best!!!! Great energy and very welcoming and fun.
Miguel and Hector were also the best bartenders!! Super friendly, kind and fun! Great experience with phenomenal staff

DO NOT GO HERE. There is no way this place is 4.7 stars, they are fake reviews.
After purchasing a $6 ball from a vendor ON THE RESORT our credit card was charged over $9000 for game tickets in Miami. The management was not helpful, they literally said “you can’t prove it is us.” And we didn’t use our card anywhere else. (We later read reviews of similar things happening on this resort) We opened a claim with our bank and needed to then change all of our bills/subscriptions to a new card (major inconvenience & super stressful).
Everyone on the resort I spoke with was trying to leave, everyone was miserable!!!! We all got food poisoning. We came with 14 people (10 were vomiting/throwing up) we decided to eat bananas for 7 days to avoid any other illness. TALK ABOUT MISERY.
Management again wasn’t helpful, they said they didn’t have any other complaints or reports of food poisoning, which was simply a lie because other people from our group were there complaining a couple days before of food poisoning.
Some other minor complaints:
We walked in our rooms barefoot for 3 minutes when we first arrived and the bottoms of our feet were black. The rooms are FILTHY. (I mean never cleaned) towels had stains all over them, sinks wouldn’t drain properly etc. but our room wasn’t as bad as my in-laws room, their roof leaked.
My sister in law got a foot fungal rash, either from the pool area or their room. (We spoke with other guests who got the same thing).
Our whole first day was practically wasted because we were waiting for our room they kept telling us 30 minutes, an hour, etc.. and finally after 5 hours we realized it won’t be ready until after dinner.
We’ve been to a lot of resorts in Cancun Mexico, cheaper than here, and we will never be coming back to the Dominican.
