Food and service is good, friendly staff. Room seaview rather old.

The Restaurant at pool has a bird infestation eating from the food displayed for the tourists!

I would especially like to give my heartfelt thanks to Sama at the restaurant. She was consistently attentive, professional, and kind during every shift. Her warm reception and the way she took care of guests with utmost warmth and dedication made every meal feel special. Sama went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of, and she is a true credit to the team.
A wonderful experience at the restaurant buffets! Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Hany, and Mr. Emad who truly went above and beyond. They were exceptionally nice, always smiling, attentive, and consistently made us feel welcomed and cared for. Their outstanding service, warm attitude, and genuine hospitality turned every meal into a memorable experience.

- I have unpleasant welcomes from their receptionist at the check in. First there was problem with my booking, they didn't have in their system although I had their confirmation on email. Than they wanted from me voucher and again confirmation voucher. I know all of this may happened, but I can't understand that arrogant attitude by the receptionist called Mohamed.
Tried to charge extra: After we checked in and confirmed the number of people staying, they still wanted to charge extra for the children. We had to contact Ctrip to solve the problem.
Remote location: 20 minutes to the city.
Inconvenient transportation: Online taxis are not allowed to come in. The taxis in the hotel lobby are more than ten times the price of online taxis (online taxis to the airport cost 2 US dollars, and their cars cost 25 US dollars). If you don't use their taxis, it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the door.
No elevator: It is composed of a bunch of scattered 3-story villas, and the stairs are narrow. It is very inconvenient to go up and down with luggage.
Very poor service: Check-in takes 40 minutes, and you can chat with European tourists but it doesn't speed up the process. The front desk asked me to find the security guard at the door to send the luggage. The security guard at the door didn't speak English at all, so I went back to the front desk. The front desk said it was busy and waited. Then I went to the lobby manager. The lobby manager also said it was busy and waited. I went to the door again, and there was no luggage cart available. I was tired all the way, and I was even more tired after checking in. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to the front desk to the room. Finally, I dragged my luggage to find the room and go upstairs.
The restaurant is too crowded. Several of its restaurants are only open to guests staying for more than 7 days. The main restaurant is not big, so it is very crowded and you have to queue up at mealtime. The food is just standard Arabic food, nothing delicious. The only bright spot is that there is a special area for children, with small tables, small stools and animated TVs.
The facilities are average, neither new nor old, but the water pressure of the shower is very low and it is not comfortable to take a shower.
The staff was lovely and was anticipating our needs !
You can find anything that you need in the hotel and we appreciated a lot the table tennis table in a protected area so we could use it even if it was windy.
The hotel was clean.
The food was quite nice.
