Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma in Hurghada

We stayed for 7 nights at the Steigenberger Ras soma and it was just as we expected it. Amazing hotel, nice beach, the service is exceptional. The Aqua bar is roght at the activity pool and especially Hosam was looking out for us every day of our stay. Very friendly, always making sure we don’t stay thirsty for long big thanks to him! The other pool bar from Cabana is also lovely, big thanks to Hashim wo was always so funny and in such a good mood.
Our room was perfect for a stay of one week. Big bathroom, huge shower, nice balcony with partial sea view. Daily room maid service and they always make some cute animals.
The food was delicious and good in every single a la carte restaurant as well as in the main buffett restaurant too.
Literally the only “semi annoying” thing was then we had a day trip, we ordered breakfast boxes to go and the food was a sandwich of literally only a slice of cheese in a piece of bread, an apple and a small muffin plus a water. Basically only quick carbs and no protein, nutrients or whatsoever really.
Apart of that, the best holiday with the best service we ever had.

We’ve had a truly lovely week at The Steinberger Hotel, visiting with another family and our four children. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is impeccably clean and smells divine. The décor is fresh, neutral, and finished to a very high standard, giving it a calm and elegant feel throughout.

Most of the staff are attentive, welcoming, and very friendly. I’d like to give special thanks to Mohamed, the polite gentleman who cleaned our room daily — always with a warm smile — and to Samuel from the entertainment team, who was wonderful with the children and made them feel so included and happy.

The food was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. My favourite was the Lebanese restaurant, which served delicious, authentic dishes full of flavour.

The beach is beautiful, with clear water and soft sand, and the pools are lovely — clean, spacious, and great for both adults and kids.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday!

Completely amazing hotel. From the moment you walk into the lobby you are struck by how stylish and beautiful the hotel is. It gets even better when you walk out into the grounds. Huge pools, vast lawns, epic beach, gorgeous warm water. The friendliest, most professional, warm attentive service I have ever experienced in a hotel. And the food is so good, so varied, so authentic, so delicious that you are left incredulous of how such standards can be met time and time again. Exceptional value for money. Even the tennis lessons are free (with the best tennis teacher i have ever had too). Overall, it is so good it should be studied by all 5 star hotels globally, as I have stayed in many but none as good as this.

We had a wonderful week at the Steigenberger Ras Soma! The staff is very friendly and attentive, everything is very clean, and the food is also excellent. Also the activities for the kids and the kids club are perfect. We used to stay at the Kempinski before, but this resort does it even better! I would especially like to mention Mr. Mohammad Rashad! He had a surprise prepared for our kids almost every day (for example, a monkey made out of towels), and the room was perfectly cleaned every single day! Thank you for this lovely stay — we will gladly come back!

​What truly set this hotel apart was the amazing staff. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome. While we can't list everyone, we want to extend a huge thank you to Mahmoud Elsayed (Room 2137). Mahmoud took wonderful care of our room, ensuring it was always perfect. He also made our daughter's holiday magical with his incredible towel creations—she was delighted and it truly put stars in her eyes!

Wonderful hotel! Incredibly new and modern design with Egyptian touches. Amazing hospitality - had a wonderful holiday there from December 26 to January 2.

I would like to thank the hotel management and staff for a quality vacation. My husband and I vacationed at the beginning of September. We were impressed by the service, food and friendliness of the staff. In my opinion, this is the only hotel in Egypt where Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel. Nice aesthetic design. Cleanliness. I would also like to thank the chef for the choice of dishes. Especially hummus and gorgeous sweets. We constantly observed how diligently the manager maintains order and the quality of the hotel. Many thanks to him. One of my wishes is to clean the bottom of the sea, since apparently there is construction waste left there, which spoils the picture. And you can also reduce the price for renting VIP sun loungers on the beach. The vacation was wonderful. We hope to meet again.

We arrived at the hotel in December 2021. We were satisfied, the last day, and we absolutely do not want to leave (( You can't even compare it to other hotels in Egypt: everything is absolutely new and fresh. The design is tasteful. We read bad reviews about the service, now they have fixed everything, the staff takes care of you so much, opens the doors, replenishes the drinks themselves, that you are surprised every time. The food is very tasty and varied: rolls, hot dishes, red fish in the morning, you can list for a long time. There are also several restaurants on the territory: Italian, Seafood and Asian. We visited all of them and were satisfied with the cuisine. The rooms are spacious and clean, they are cleaned daily. Very good Wi-Fi on the territory of the hotel, I did not have to buy a local SIM card. Loads movies and video calls. The pools are heated in winter, there are also two warm jacuzzis. You don't even want to get out of them)) The sea is clean, a good sandy beach, the entrance is completely sandy, not a single pebble or grass. Thanks to the hotel for a wonderful holiday, we will definitely come back here again!!

My husband and I stayed at Steigenberger Ras Soma. We were happy with everything. A wonderful place for a quiet, measured holiday. We did not regret choosing it. If you fly to Egypt, then only to a hotel like Steigenberger. The rooms are clean and cozy. There are no questions about the variety of food either: there is a main restaurant on the territory and several separate ones (seafood, Italian cuisine, Japanese, Lebanese). The beach is wide, clean, the water in the sea is crystal clear, but it is difficult to swim in November, as for me, it is very cool. I would also like to note the animation team, very cheerful, beautiful, polite guys. Many thanks to Anechka for pleasant conversations and for the activities on the beach (stretching, yoga). ❤️ Every evening there are various shows on the terrace. We will definitely come back here again!!!
