The Cascades Golf Resort, Spa & Thalasso

Don’t even know how to start when it comes to the wrong things about this resort.

After checking in, the bathroom was full of long hairs which was truly disgusting. Called the reception and they completely ignored that!

Generally, service throughout the resort is consistently bad especially at the main restaurant which is almost unbelievable that it belongs to what supposed to be a 5-star property. This tells you a lot about the type of the management running this place.

Location isn’t on the marina and you need a shuttle bus to get there which is very inconvenient and literally makes you in the middle of nowhere.

Food at both breakfast and dinner was below average and something you would get at a 2-star hotel.

Spa is nice but not appealing enough to come back to this resort for. You can still visit even if you are staying at surrounding resorts because it’s chargeable anyway.

Good luck trying to find a reason to stay here for.

Very disappointed of the customer service. I used the ATM to change Euros, however, the ATM couldn’t do so and didn’t return me the full amount.
I asked the girl at the reception for help, left my phone number but nobody reached out to me. When I contacted the reception again, I was told to contact the hotline, and they cannot help me.
Although I understand that this is in fact an outsourced service, I did expect some help as I can’t reach anyone and the hotel and a bank employee does in fact visit the hotel every day to refill the ATM as I was told by the reception. I asked them politely to then speak to this bank employee, but continuously they refuse to help. We are foreigners here, we do not have the connections during a vacation to call a bank that doesn’t speak English or is reachable. Please, I hope your management can contact me ASAP. My phone number is still with the lady of the reception.

Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed the ventilation was unclean. We checked three different rooms, and all of them had dirty sheets with hair on them. We urgently need the General Manager to contact us.

When we arrived, Mr. Abanoub claimed they owned the world’s most renowned spa, but the hotel facilities certainly do not live up to that standard. It has been over two hours and we still haven't been given a clean room.

Additionally, when Miss Duaa ( hotel staff and PR) inspected the sheets, she was shocked and repeatedly asked, "What is this?" She then offered us the Executive Room in a condescending tone. I told her to be respectful, as my expectations were already low but I never imagined they would be this low. Oh and the executive suite toilets was even more unclean than the first one ! Bottom line don’t think my review will change! I paid full stay and I thought maybe help instead of anyone falling into that trap! Save your vacation!!

The spa is amazing but the car service to the hotel was very late and the massage was short! They need to provide a better service! I can’t be paying to cut the massage short because it’s their fault!
