I recently stayed at Amwaj Beach Club Safaga and had a wonderful experience! My room was 4314, and I’d like to give special thanks to Ali Gamal from the housekeeping team — he was extremely polite, respectful, and always went above and beyond to keep everything spotless. The cleanliness was at a very high level, and his attention to detail really made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and great hospitality. I truly appreciate Ali Gamal and the housekeeping team for making my stay so pleasant. Highly recommended!

It was a vacation. and I will list a few realistic things.
Location:
About an hour from the airport. Isolated, beautiful place. For now there is nothing in the area, more hotels are being built. 10 km is the center of Safaga.
Hotel:
Nicely decorated, tidy, plenty of pools, there is always room on the beach and at the pools. Friendly staff, waiters too. They are not as intrusive as in other resorts.
Rooms:
Rabera El Sayed room service, so good. Beautiful, amazing thing doing. Number room 3210. I like it.
Food:
Not the best, not the worst, edible and a great selection.
Beach:
I don't know what's more important to people than the beach and the sea. I guess people go to see, swim and enjoy the sea, not the pools. But according to the reviews, people have more important things left, I have a pool in my city too. A matter of taste.
This is the only reason for the lower rating. The tide is constantly present. Around two or three in the afternoon, the water comes up to the shore. The beach is beautiful, sandy. There is space, but you have to wear shoes to enter the sea. In the morning hours, due to the retreat of the sea, you have to walk about 200, 300 m. to touch the water.
Services:
Wifi, All honor, in this hotel you have it in the lobby and in the room. rare but true. There is a safe. In the lobby, waiters will serve you. And always be generous, they deserve a tip. In this resort, no one is strangling the employees, all honor. We will ignore those who offer additional excursions.

if you want peace, to get away from it all, I recommend it. Up to 7 days is quite enough.

We are extremely satisfied with the hotel’s services. The staff are very professional, the food is excellent, and I must especially praise the room cleaning, which was always done perfectly and often came with a pleasant surprise. A big thank you goes to Ali Gamal, who has been taking great care of us throughout our stay.

If u wan’t to just rest get the red flag to avoid the salesman, found it out on the last day where you can get towels. The salesman will not leave you alone if you kindly say no. Don’t recommend to get pedicure in the hotel spa, not sanitary and you’r toes will hurt after this for days, the gelpolish is not dried at all and all over the toes, the pay for this is too much. Also if u get facial they use extremely many masks I had the steamer malfunction so it spit me super hot water in the face and a big splash on my hand, it felt like it butned my hand off. No “sorry” even once. The lady was nice, but the quality is not good. The facial did not help anything, also they use thread and start taking of hair on your face, eyebrows and toes. They wash their hands in the water ur feet are in.. Don’t go to hotel clinic, try pharmacy first, the clinic will ask you thousands of dollars/euros and wan’t you to pay immediately. The clinic is also not sanitary, when u come from one of the cleanest and sanitariest countries on the world, this lacks it, they seem like they only use fluids, but won’t recommend you something to get thru. The parfume store also is one of the shops you need to stay away from if ur not interested buying one, the seller tells you he has your country money on his shop, don’t fall for it, he only has life 5 taped on wall, he will get you inside, close the door and asks what kind of smell you like, then starts mixing them up as u have to buy them now. The corner supermarket was the only normal shop, you can just look around without someone tried hard to sell you something, but many of the prices are funny. Mini skittles pack 2€ which would be 0.50€ in europe. Oreos 6€, which is 1-3€ in Europe. Redbull 4, Monster 3€. All the candy was literally 2-6€, same with the cookies and chocolates even more. Chips were good price, just 1€.
The room service is the most here, would recommend.
Wifi is also super awful, have to log in 1000x times in a day and it disconnects 10000x also. Pools are open til sunset.

We recently stayed at this nice resort in Egypt, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely perfect — right next to the sea with stunning views and easy beach access. The resort itself is spacious and well maintained, with several swimming pools to choose from.
What truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was at reception, by the pool, or in the restaurants, the service was consistently excellent.

Absolutely amazing! Muhammad is a true master of his craft — not only does he make incredible pizza, but his Eastern-style sweet pies with custard are on a whole other level. Seriously, these things are unreal. Perfectly baked, deliciously creamy, and honestly just unforgettable. Huge respect to this guy — he deserves all the praise. If you haven’t tried his pastries yet, you’re seriously missing out. 100% recommend!

Great stay in Egypt – 8/10
Access to the sea was via a pontoon bridge. The coral reef was absolutely stunning – full of colorful fish and sea creatures. I saw a turtle and a few stingrays, and there were crabs on the beach. It's important to stay within the buoys – I saw a jellyfish, a sea urchin, and a lionfish. Swimming with a mask is a must to enjoy the underwater beauty and stay safe.
The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with working air conditioning and a large balcony. Daily cleaning was a big plus. I rate the room 5/5.
The beach restaurant served excellent food, especially the fresh-made pizza. The only downside was having to walk about 50 meters to the bar for drinks. The main hotel restaurant offered a different menu every day with plenty of variety. I especially enjoyed the European dishes.
Evening shows started at 9 PM – the pool party and fire show were my favorites.
Excursions were amazing: quad biking in the desert, scuba diving, and a yacht trip – everything was well-organized. 10/10!
Negatives: the same music playlist every day, expensive milkshakes ($5 each), and poor-quality alcohol. Rum, gin, and whiskey all tasted the same – like plain spirit. Cocktails were limited, and some bartenders didn’t know the recipes.
Overall, a great place for a family vacation. The sea is only accessible from 9 AM to 6 PM, and there's not much to do in the evenings – but still a solid 8/10.

I like to break down each bit so here we go :D
Rooms: Spacious but furniture was old and could use renovations.
Service: In general was great except for waiters in the restaurant who paid attention to foreigners. Yet, they were respectable so I was okay. Shout out to chef Mohamed at the Italian pizza bar.
Food: Fresh , varied and tastes good. I want to thank the Salad Chef specifically because all was fresh and different. Shout out to the bakery chef especially the croissants he baked fresh during breakfast buffet.
Beach: Good for snorkeling not swimming. It could hurt your feet, make sure to have your waterproof shoes.
Animation Team: Were active and each night they had a different show. I want to thank Nivida I believe, a young active beautiful woman who took my daughter and encouraged her to dance :D Never did I see this attention else where.
Pools: Clean with many heights to suit different people. The aqua park was small with 7 slides yet, they were fun and satisfying. Life guards were all over the place and had their eyes on the kids.
I generally recommend it for the quality and value it brings compared to the price. :D

We spent an unforgettable week in Egypt, in this hotel. I would like to note that the room we got was new and very good. We thank the cleaner for his work, we appreciate it. We also want to note the cuisine and the variety in the choice of dishes. The staff is friendly and polite. The sea is clean and transparent. The entrance to the sea is from a sandy beach, but there are also corals, so we recommend special shoes. There is also a pier from which you can go snorkeling and see the beautiful reef and its inhabitants. In general, we are delighted with the sea. ❤️The person we want to thank most of all is the employee of the bar on the beach, Ibrahim Ali Elsool❤️. He is a wonderful person and a very qualified employee❤️🙂↕️❤️He has become a true friend to us here. 🙏🏻🫱🏻🫲🏽We really appreciate it and thank him for it. Our hearts are with you, bro 🫱🏻🫲🏽❤️🫱🏻🫲🏽In general, the atmosphere of the hotel is great. We plan to come here again in the future. We recommend you try to visit this hotel. As part of a trip a deal vacation, we have just finished a 3 day stay at the hotel. One word - disgraceful. From the moment our group arrived, half the room keys didn’t work, phones not working or fell apart. Our room was not cleaned for 2 1/2 days (we had no soap). All bars close before sunset, with the exception of the lobby bar where the service was terrible. The bar person was openly rude to everyone and we witnessed him arguing with his supervisor loudly in front of guests two nights in a row. The wifi was patchy at best and the hotel experienced at least six blackouts during our stay. The food in the buffet was okay but the Italian meal for our group was very poor. After raising numerous issues, the hotel management made an effort to apologize and make amends, but that was undone as we were leaving where the reception person was aggressively rude because a number of us did not have pool towel cards to return - which had been from us in exchange for towels and couldn’t be retrieved because of their policy of closing the pools early. I was not allowed to check out until we went out and found two towels for the reception person. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Overall the experience was extremely disappointing after what had been a wonderful trip to that point.
