One of the best places I spent for my baby moon. The room was beautiful and simple. My favorite part was the bathroom and bathtub it was so nice. Some people are picky,but I’m picky with the bathrooms. The food was amazing the beach was beautiful and relaxing. My favorite part was at night right before the sunset an electric violinist was playing and it just made the night and the sunset 100x better !

Fantastic experience. The hotel is top notch - great service, beautiful rooms, immaculate grounds, amazing beach, and one of the best hotel buffets I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed here and had an excellent experience. The place was very nice, and the people were incredibly welcoming. The food and drinks at the restaurant were very good, offering a great variety. The beach was beautiful, and the pool was excellent. The resort had many restaurants, providing a diverse range of meals. It was a large resort within a well-defined and safe area, with a long promenade perfect for evening walks. This is a great place for family relaxation, suitable for both those with children and others. I highly recommend this place along with the perfect arengement from the beach, the water is perfect for kids and not only. The staff were always eager to help and made our stay even more enjoyable

We only stayed at this hotel once. Recommended by friends who appreciated the cuisine, the beach, and the overall elegant style of the hotel: rooms, restaurant, architecture. Perhaps this was our most luxurious vacation: the famous champagne for breakfast, a feeling of luxury and serenity. Top notch service. Hospitality and perfection in everything, thank you!!!

We have been in this hotel 12th times and we will definitely come back. For us, Soma Bay is one of the most beautiful places that we’ve ever visited and we travel a lot. (Family of 4, kids aged 3&10). We have stayed in other hotels in the area but for us, the Kempinski Hotel is the absolute favorite. The whole area is beautiful and offers a lot; diving and snorkeling are superb. The hotel is very environmentally friendly.
Rooms: Very spacious with two services per day (morning and Turn-Down-Service). It was always super clean, the beds are very comfortable, housekeeping staff has always been very friendly.
Food: although we have picky eaters, there are always a million options for everyone! We love the kids buffet, where they offer 4 different kind of foods on a little table so that the children are able to serve themselves. Fresh fruit is always available as well as gluten free food. Fresh bbq fish every night. Various salads and 2 different soups for dinner. All different kind of fresh bread- we love the whole grain bread! All kinds of eggs at the egg stations in the morning.
Pool and Beach: The whole complex is kept in best shape. They clean up the hotel ponds and area every morning. They always restore different areas of the hotel as well and maintain this beautiful hotel very good. We love the playground in the shadow at the beach; our daughter plays there all the time and also the kids pool has a sun canopy so the kids can play the whole day.
Staff: we have always been treated with the greatest kindness and respect in this hotel by every single employee. We especially love that most of the staff has been here many years and they welcome us back every time with joy. We especially love Ali at the pool who is so attentive; but also like mentioned before, every staff member has been great. We always enjoy lunch at the Beachcomber or AlMar and are especially happy about the kids menu with great healthy choices like fresh steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, fish fillet for a very reasonable price compared to the quality.
The kids club offers a great variety of activities and the staff ladies definitely love kids.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel! We will be back. Quality is very high in every aspect and the price-performance ratio is one of the best we’ve ever experienced.

We stayed 9 nights in may and absolutely loved it. The architecture and layout of the hotel complex is simply stunning. Starting from the nice mango/vanilla smell in the lobby, to the beautiful plants and garden layout. It is simply a joy to walk around and enjoy the charming views. The hotel is not the most modern, but very well maintained.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent, food quality and variety is perfect. There are some local food options, for my taste there could be even more local food offered. The restaurant area in the main building is outstanding, with the elevated view over the whole garden/pool area to the sea. The Al Mar restaurant at the pool is also good, however i think food portions are way to big, they could be smaller to reduce food waste.
We also booked the Oriental Dinner and the Grill & Chill at the beach, both were outstanding.
The hotel is very family friendly, there were many kids around and the staff is very patient with kids. If you have no kids and want to enjoy silence, it is also no problem, as everthing is well separated. Staff in general was very kind and helpful.
The beach and sand is perfect, the water cristal clear.
Next to the hotel there is a small Marina/shopping area, were you can find a pharmacy, small supermarket and of course overpriced souveniers ;) There are several reefs for snorking or diving, one smaller directly at the hotel beach, the big one at the "The Jetty" pier, which is a 20-30 minute walk, or you take the free shuttle ride.
We absolutely loved our stay and can highly recommend this hotel. We will for sure come back again.

I‘m very honored to write a review. I’m not much of a beach person but this resort is just a super magical experience. I don’t know where to start … from the entrance, it gives you a traditional and happy feeling. The tour around the hotel during sunset time , just magical. For sunset lover this is the place to be . The total view from the hotel to the valleys with this magical colors.. the little rivers around the hotel with waterfalls are super impressive. I will definitely coming back ♥️ the service is super super helpful and very friendly…

I spent some days in this very nice hotel. Outstanding location and infrastructure, very well kept amenities ( pools, gardens, beach, restaurants), outstanding friendly and supportive staff in all areas, frontdesk managers extremely helpful and attentive, very good food choice...sincere congratulations to the hotel director to have been capable to build such a great team, he should be proud of!

Very friendly staff!!!! Rooms are very clean yet a bit dated. Very comfortable beds. Free drinking water. Plenty of kids (you can decide for yourself whether this is a pro or con 😀). Great food.
