Our stay at this supposed five-star hotel was a disaster from the start. We paid extra for a sea-view room, only to find dirty bedsheets, filthy windows, and an overall lack of cleanliness. The minibar, part of an "ultra all-inclusive" package, was laughably inadequate, stocked only once with two bottles of Coke and water during our eleven-night stay.
Housekeeping tried to impress with towel arrangements, but it couldn't hide the dirty windows and poorly maintained room. The food was a major issue; my partner and I suffered from diarrhea for over five days, likely due to substandard meals. Even with an upgrade to executive all-inclusive, the food quality didn't improve.
The hotel's approach seemed more focused on squeezing money from guests. Despite the all-inclusive package, we had to pay extra for fresh juice and fruit. Staff and vendors constantly pushed overpriced services and demanded tips upfront. On-site shops charged outrageous prices, such as 22 euros for a small bottle of sunscreen. The poorly soundproofed rooms made it impossible to relax, with noise from neighbors and maintenance staff.
Overall, this was the worst hotel experience we've ever had, feeling like a complete failure. We won't be returning and hope this review helps others avoid the same disappointment.

My stay at Serenity Alpha Beach Hotel was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm hospitality provided by the staff specially Mr. Ahmed Said he made the check-in process very smooth and efficient. He was very friendly and professional, ensuring a quick and pleasant start to my stay. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a complimentary upgrade to honeymoon package, which was a wonderful surprise.
The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
The hotel offers a range of excellent facilities. I particularly enjoyed the 5 different swimming pools, which was well-maintained and provided a great space to relax. The restaurants & bars served delicious food and drinks with a variety of options to cater to different tastes. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, featuring a wide array of fresh and tasty selections.
The service was impeccable. THE STAFF WERE ALWAYS ATTENTIVE, courteous, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

I had an incredible experience at this resort, and the animation team made it truly unforgettable. Their enthusiasm and dedication to engaging with guests were evident every day, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
The animation team was not only entertaining but also incredibly helpful, offering valuable advice on the best activities and excursions. They genuinely care about ensuring guests have a fantastic time and are always ready to assist with a smile. While they have certain guidelines to follow, I believe they should have more flexibility to adapt their programs based on guest interactions. They have a great understanding of what appeals to different nationalities, whether German, British, or from other parts of Europe.
Incorporating a diverse range of trending songs in the evening, instead of the same playlist, would add a fresh touch for guests staying 7 to 14 days. The team's ability to read the crowd and adjust accordingly would further enhance the guest experience.

I highly recommend this hotel, very good services, cleanliness, large rooms, good food, repetitive but you always have something to eat, beef, chicken, duck, fish (sushi, salmon, crabs, shrimps) a little minus the variety of side dishes , but there are enough salads. Very cool animation with varied programs every evening. Welcoming people, with a smile on their faces. I didn't feel the pressure of the tips .
Snorkeling is magnificent from the jety , gorgeous corals, multitude of fish... you don't have to go to another part, more beautiful than orange bay in the snorkeling stops. I would love to return to this hotel anytime.

Great hotel for scuba diving, snorkeling and bathing. Everything is in great condition (new). Delightful park. Nice pools with bars. Very good food with a variety of freshly grilled meat, very tasty fish and an outstanding variety of desert specialties. Personal very polite and helpful. Perfect organization. Direct access to the coral reef across a walkable bridge, in good condition. Outstanding snorkeling possibilities. Surrounded by fish swarms. Scuba diving base directly on premises, with possibility to achieve a license in a couple of days or simply enjoy two 30 minute dives with a dive instructor on a day trip - even for children! Gains entertainment program - but mostly for adults or elderly. Within kids I would recommend the directly neighboring hotel, which sports many slides and kids entertainment options. Tasteful night shows every night. We loved it! Tip: the upgrade to the rooms with ocean view is well worth the extra cost!

Parrots looked in good healthy condition and well looked (for birds in captivity) they can stretch their wings and fly side to side but I feel they would like more enrichment toys etc whilst in a cage, / bigger cage considering all of the spare room around them-it would make their life so much better..
The steps in entertainment area need better lighting at night. Within half an hour we were there, we watched three people slip on the bottom step one seriously injuring her foot.
We didn’t receive an important message from our tour guide (passed to reception around 2pm) which we should’ve received the day before our trip, which was a little disappointing by reception even though it was sent within lots of time to be passed on correctly. (Even though every other time they were amazing)
Being hassled constantly by vendors on the beach got very annoying and I could see how people would find this irritating
It would’ve been nice to look round the shops and actually have prices on products rather than having to haggle for everything. We ended up paying £17.50 for much needed after sun which I think is extortionate.
It put us off going into the souvenir shops.
Very sad to see that tour operators within the hotel are selling trips to go and visit dolphins in captivity, dolphins should be in the wild this is why many tour agents have already stop selling tickets to SeaWorld etc as animals should not be have to perform for human entertainment 😢

So this hotel was in the new Makadi area so a fair amount of desert around. But didn't take long to go to Hurghada city etc. Even used the hotel to catch a taxi to Luxor.
The hotel is quite beautiful and the food is very nice. Special thank you to the amazing manager Ahmed and chef Ashraf at restaurant Bioche (Baywatch) who felt more like family (and even made dishes we requested!), as well as our room boy Mahmoud who was sweet and kind. Finally JazakAllah to Sherif who made our whole stay wonderful. In fact all of the staff were generally kind, warm, helpful and friendly.

American family of four (mom dad 18 & 8) stayed for four nights in April. After a mild hiccup during the initial check in process, this stay was nothing short of excellent for my whole family.
Grounds are beautiful, you can sit at the beach and see a beautiful sunrise over the Red Sea, water park next door was such a nice perk of staying at Serenity.
As fun as the water park is, I’m very pleased that we stayed at Serenity instead, as the layout and overall vibe at serenity were more relaxing.
This is a property that wants to earn top marks from all its guests, and the various management teams do very well in taking care of their clients‘ reasonable requests.
Guests seemed majority German, with the next most represented country being the UK. In general a very well behaved crowd there during our stay.

A real oasis in the desert 😍 An amazing and beautiful place to stay, highly recommend. The staff went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable experience. Great food, beautiful beach, fantastic pools, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best holidays me and my partner had, we went out of the season on 21st Jan 2024 for a week and weather was amazing considering it’s their coolest month, few days was a bit windy but comparable to standard British summer, temperature 21-24C but feels hotter then that and you can get tanned easily. Definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back this time with kids.
