Hotel Sultan Bey Resort

We had a family gathering for a vacation at the hotel and every body was happy with the experience. Everybody was helpful and cheerful. I remember Andrew who helped us with the reservation over the phone until we reached the hotel and Taha who was very cheerful. Every body else was great but I am no so good with remembering names. The location is excellent and the food was very good. We are looking forward to coming back.

I'm still at the hotel right now, but I'm leaving later today. My stay here has been really enjoyable. The staff is so nice, and the food options are great. The Wi-Fi works well, although it's a bit weak in the bathroom, but that's not a big deal. The rooms are clean, and everything is well taken care of. Also, the pools are never too crowded, even when it's hot. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in El Gouna!!

Beautiful small hotel in El Gouna, 2 minutes from the city center. Good and varied food from the buffet. Of particular note is the polite and friendly staff. I will be vacationing here again as soon as possible!

My sister and I booked a room in Sultan bey for her first time in Gouna and it was absolutely the perfect choice. The reception staff and hotel staff are very welcoming, friendly, understanding and responsive, it has everything you can need and they listen to your requests and everything is clean, warmly decorated and well attended. The room is very cozy and the air conditioner is great, the beds are comfortable and the fridge was convenient. The breakfast food is very delicious! The pool is nice and we had free beach access to zeytouna, which was fantastic as well. Thank you for making us enjoy these days in Gouna together. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax and enjoy their stay in Gouna, the location is in Downtown which is also a great bonus. Shoutout to Andrew, Ahmed (x2), Abdullah for always helping us out and being great :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sultan Bay Hotel, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality from the staff. The hotel's elegant and modern design created a welcoming atmosphere, and my room was beautifully appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The stunning views of the bay from my room were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's dining options were exceptional, offering a variety of delicious dishes to suit every palate. I also appreciated the convenience of the hotel's location, which allowed me to easily explore the surrounding area. Overall, my stay at Sultan Bay Hotel was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Second visit to this beautiful hotel, the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Joseph at the pool bar, Waleed, who looked after our room, and Andrew on reception all go above and beyond as well as the waiters who are too numerous to mention but all made our stay special. We are a couple travelling and had a lovely time at sultan bey! The hotel is in such a Beautiful location with the lagoon, the beach, the pool on your doorstep!! The hotel mainly caters mainly for German and Dutch clients, so English is not the spoken language and it can sometimes get a little tricky. But there are a few staff who speak and understand English well and they help wherever they can. Our room was basic but perfect for what we needed. It was cleaned daily with no fuss. The restaurant was buffet and had a good selection of foods, enough to satisfy most taste buds. The grill/bar-b-q is a delight and should not be missed. Chef is amazing, he spoke good English, warned us of nuts as my hubby has a nut allergy, he was also super friendly. The drinks I thought were a bit of a let down. The pool bar offered a good choice of drinks and friendly service, no table service and the restaurant bar offered up the best drinks (cocktails) but was only open during eating times. The lobby bar was poor, the guy disappeared a lot and had little knowledge of drinks despite a menu. There was no table service at all. The hotel manager did pick this up and addressed the issue as soon as he spotted it but the manager can't be in one place all of the time and the service slipped back as soon as manager left. The location is fantastic, with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We didn't do any trips but I would definitely go back and I would use this hotel again. We visited in January and enjoyed temperatures of around 24-27 it was fabulous 😍

The location is superb and the pool area looking over the lagoon is stunning. The hotel itself is quite tired and in need of tidying up a bit really with a few minor repairs here and there too. The food was very nice but got repetitive and some days was a bit of a Mish mash on choice but overall I enjoyed it . The lobby bar I'm afraid is really poor with hardly any selection of drinks and we found it better to sit in the restaurant to have a few drinks after our meal as they had really nice cocktails in there . As we are English and it is really geared up for Germans and Dutch we had a language barrier with a few members of staff not understanding us but was easily overcome . Overall I would say our stay was very nice and good value and would more than likely visit again .
