Hotel Sultan Bey Resort

The hotel is super clean. The location is only steps away from the downtown square where all the night life is. The staff is dedicated to your comfort and always happy to help with a smile. The pool is great but the beach is on another level, only a 5 minute boat ride (free) you can bathe on the lagoon side or the sea side and get some Ikite surfing lessons if you desire. Will definitely be back. 100% recommended.

From the moment we arrived at Sultan Bey Hotel, we felt welcomed by the professional and warm staff. Ahmed at the reception and the friendly security team set the tone for a wonderful stay, making the check-in process smooth and easy.

The hotel’s beautiful architecture is breathtaking, from the spacious and clean rooms to the well-maintained grounds. Our room had a wonderful balcony with stunning views, offering the perfect place to relax. The housekeeping team was efficient and incredibly accommodating to our specific needs, ensuring everything was perfect during our stay.

We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the food exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of options, and the chefs truly went above and beyond to cater to our preferences. As we prefer vegan and vegetarian meals, the kitchen team offered fresh, delicious options without hesitation. The service staff, including the waiters Roro and Romarez (and many more!), was quick, professional, and always greeted us with a personal and welcoming touch. Special thanks to the wonderful ladies baking fresh bread every day – their warm, delicious creations made every meal feel even more special. One thing that could be a suggestion for improvement is to also offer a non-alcoholic beer in the all inclusive offer.

The amenities were equally impressive. The pool was not only pristine and well-maintained by the pool team but also a great spot to relax. Hanna, Joseph and Samuel (and also many more!), were always there to make sure we were comfortable, providing excellent service by the pool bar. The beach area was also fantastic, with calm and clear waters perfect for swimming, thanks to the hotel’s ideal location that minimizes wind and waves.

A special mention to Rafik Ragy, the assistant manager, who handled an unexpected situation with great professionalism and care, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction were always a priority. His attention to detail and personal follow-up really made us feel valued as guests.

We also appreciated Mohammed, who ran the store at the hotel selling sunscreen, souvenirs and other essentials – his helpfulness added another layer of convenience to our stay.

While I’ve mentioned many names, there were so many other wonderful staff members (and cats!) who made our stay unforgettable. Their energy, warmth, and friendliness will forever follow us in our hearts. I deeply regret not remembering everyone’s name, but I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of them for their kindness, professionalism, and hard work. Their contributions truly made a difference and it will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, personal, and wonderfully relaxing. Whether we were by the pool, on the beach, or simply strolling through the beautifully maintained grounds, we felt at peace. The entire staff, from the gardeners to the builders, cleaners, pool team, waiters, chefs, reception team, and the excursion staff (special thanks to Max and Mohammed, with many more), contributed to making our stay unforgettable.

Would we recommend Sultan Bey Hotel? Absolutely! It’s a paradise. The perfect weather, ideal location, impeccable hotel, and outstanding staff make it a place I would return to without hesitation. This hotel is truly a hidden gem, offering a complete escape with everything you could wish for.

The place is a bit small, so I don’t recommend it during high seasons.

They served a variety of food. Everything tasted amazing.

We were here in February and it was very pleasant and perfect. Beautiful place. We came back now, and unfortunately the guy at reception is not only unpleasant but arrogant. And not helpful at all.
Too bad ! He is the first person we see when we arrive. He doesn’t give a great image of the hotel. Otherwise everybody else is very nice. Taha is a sweet young man who cleans our room.

We had a family gathering for a vacation at the hotel and every body was happy with the experience. Everybody was helpful and cheerful. I remember Andrew who helped us with the reservation over the phone until we reached the hotel and Taha who was very cheerful. Every body else was great but I am no so good with remembering names. The location is excellent and the food was very good. We are looking forward to coming back.

I'm still at the hotel right now, but I'm leaving later today. My stay here has been really enjoyable. The staff is so nice, and the food options are great. The Wi-Fi works well, although it's a bit weak in the bathroom, but that's not a big deal. The rooms are clean, and everything is well taken care of. Also, the pools are never too crowded, even when it's hot. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in El Gouna!!

Beautiful small hotel in El Gouna, 2 minutes from the city center. Good and varied food from the buffet. Of particular note is the polite and friendly staff. I will be vacationing here again as soon as possible!

My sister and I booked a room in Sultan bey for her first time in Gouna and it was absolutely the perfect choice. The reception staff and hotel staff are very welcoming, friendly, understanding and responsive, it has everything you can need and they listen to your requests and everything is clean, warmly decorated and well attended. The room is very cozy and the air conditioner is great, the beds are comfortable and the fridge was convenient. The breakfast food is very delicious! The pool is nice and we had free beach access to zeytouna, which was fantastic as well. Thank you for making us enjoy these days in Gouna together. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax and enjoy their stay in Gouna, the location is in Downtown which is also a great bonus. Shoutout to Andrew, Ahmed (x2), Abdullah for always helping us out and being great :)
