Reviews
The food is decent, not a lot of option but their pasta is great!
The view from the balcony rooms is incredible, mountains on one side and beach on the other!
There are no lifts in the hotel anywhere so if you don't wish to walk up 4 flights of stairs all the time request a bottom floor.
The rooms themselves are pretty cool, very on theme however we did have an issue with not having hot water which luckily was swiftly sorted by the staff.
What does let this place down is that it lacks the basics that makes it worthwhile.
We went in June, obviously very hot being around 38 degrees. Naturally, I’d like a cold drink but there’s seldom one to be found, the beer is lukewarm from the bottle they pour it from and the rest of the drinks follow suit. We met 4-5 other couples during our stay who all had some form of stomach issue, we assume from the food but possibly ice, hence not wanting it in our drinks. We couldn’t work out one cause for it so assumed it must be multiple things. Disappointingly this meant several cancelled trips for obvious reasons.
The room we got was nice but had no fire alarm, I requested a room with one, was told engineering would fit an alarm for 2 days before getting a backdated letter asking me to come to reception to sort a change of room. Organised a new room to be taken to one once again without a fire alarm! Room No.3 was presented as an upgrade to a deluxe room but also had a cover on the fire alarm and a system to prevent the sprinkler from going off, is not catching fire too much to ask?!
Several air con units not working both in the bars and reportedly in other rooms, shower glass walls that haven’t been screwed in properly, holes in the underside of the bridges that go over the pool. All leave a lack-lustre effect once the initial novelty has worn off.
The concerning thing is if it’s June, surely this is or is close to their peak season and so should be their peak standard? Worrying to say the least! Close it for a month, revamp it, buy some air con units and fridges and sort the finer details out. By actual standards this is probably a 3.5/5 star hotel but could easily be so much more!
The sit in restaurants we enjoyed really well. Room was clean and spacious, not an issue .
Only thing the hotel could probably work on is the reps at the beach (who don’t work for the hotel) can be very pushy/aggressive maybe security could be a bit more vigilante.
Recommendation for visitors don’t go into hurghada you will be hassled, shouted at etc.
Also the shops at the entrance of the resort are overpriced and sell fake cigarettes - go to the market in the next resort over.
Booked all day trips with hotel tour operator Mohamed and was not disappointed, fair prices and good service.
Unfortunately in the effort of keeping prices low food and drinks were sacrificed ruining experience(worst i have ever experienced on all inclusive). I would have rather paid a bit more..
No way of bathing in the sea as beach is rocky and water a mile away and they could not be bothered building a pontoon..
The hotel was impressive, amazing work done to create such impressive architecture. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the rooms were great and the food was plentiful.
Went in January, weather was good, a little chilly in the evenings due to a slight breeze.
If you can go, go!
Upon our arrival at the hotel around 9:30 pm, we were pleased to find that the staff had kept dinner for us, which was a thoughtful gesture. However, we were shocked to discover upon entering our room that there was no water available for showering or flushing the toilet. We promptly brought this issue to the attention of the reception, and it was resolved by the following day. Unfortunately, our troubles did not end there. The fridge in our room was out of order, and it took three days of repeated requests to have it fixed. Additionally, the phone line was not working, forcing us to make multiple trips to the reception to address any concerns. The language barrier with the receptionist further complicated matters, as she could only nod and smile without providing any meaningful response or solution. Reception is unable to assist with much, not even a simplew request for shower gel. They only provided one small bottle for five days and do not refill it daily. We took matters into our own hands and sorted it out with the cleaning staff, who were more than happy to help us.
It is evident that the reception staff and management is in need of customer service training, as they should prioritize listening to the client's concerns before offering a solution, which on few occasions we were rudely interrupted while expressing our concerns.
On a positive note, I would like to commend the rest of the staff for their exceptional service and hard work. The energy and dedication of the staff members truly made our stay enjoyable. Management should recognize and appreciate the efforts of these individuals, as they provide better customer service than some of the higher-ranking staff members.
While the location is still a work in progress, the theme and overall atmosphere of the resort were unique and appealing. The beach was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.
In conclusion, while there were some disappointments during our stay, the efforts of the staff and the potential of the resort make it a destination you might want to considering.
