Arrived at the caves hotel this week, we can’t fault the hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and the entertainment is brilliant. Chloe from the entertainment team looked after us every day. Involved us in any activities we wanted to join in and gave us great tips to enjoy the trip to the full. Would highly recommended the caves for a couples holiday and you can make it as busy or relaxing as you want.

Very unique hotel with a sad story behind it The rooms and hotel in general are all meticulously cleaned and the pools are crystal clear. The staff can't do enough for you and a little tip puts a huge smile on their faces The food was very good always plenty of it

This has been the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed so far! The room was dusty? the bedding dirty and the bathroom smelt of mould and damp. The beds were very low, mattresses and pillow gave us the worst nights sleep every night. The food so bland, dry/over cooked and just plain dire, I didn’t have a proper meal in the whole 5 days I was there. I didn’t realise that this was a smoking hotel and everyone and i mean everyone smokes! The music and pool activities was ok but when you’re tired after a trip and wanna sleep you can’t until 11:00 and that’s as long as the patrons are drunk fighting. The Spa and treatments are nice and the older lady masseuse lovely but the steam room smells of damp. There isn’t really a beach, it’s a ***** of natural sand/stone made wider by the sand from the desert which is nothing more than slate and sand which I might add is littered with cigarette bits and cups. The pool tables are so worn and need replacing.

Big room but no elevator to access it. Bed too soft.
Repetitive food, lack of cutlery for desserts.
Drink ok, ideal for those who like to drink at will.
Friendly staff.
Hotel too far from Hurghada.
Overrated in number of stars ... I will give 3 stars

The Caves Beach Hotel is listed as a five star hotel but I would list it as a three star hotel. The first evening we got there, you could smell raw sewage. The food is boring and repetitive with the same every day, morning, afternoon and evening. The rooms were quirky which is what we liked. Outside at night when lit up was beautiful. I was ignored by some of the hotel staff a few times so I got my own drinks rather than having the waiters do it for me as they lingered for tips. Mohamed Ibrahim was our tour operator and was really friendly and informative. I did pay him for 2 headscarf’s which we never got so I had to pay again. When you book the tours, the tour guides take you to some businesses which Mohamed doesn’t mention so be careful of that as the businesses ask for tips constantly for just showing what they do.

All in all a good stay but I wouldn’t go back to Caves hotel

Great hotel, staff brilliant, food ok but not awful as some people like to moan about ! Didn't get poorly, beach was lovely with plenty of shade if you wanted. Pretty much standard all inclusive hotel!

The hotel is very quirky and not something we’ve visited before, lots of detail for the overall look and feel which was really good. We paid for a swim up room which was worth the extra money, however the toilet and fridge made noises all night. The bed sheets felt awful and bobbly so we didn’t sleep great.
The food was the same every day from morning until evening and for a 5 star it was at certain times. There was no ice cream on site except for the main restaurant which opens selected hours, the beach bar was dirty and never used. People were often complaining of a bad stomach and vomiting. I avoided eating the meat at all cost as raw chicken was being cooked next to cooked chicken being served.
The sea is so far out from the beach and very hard to access, it’s 30/40 minute drive into Hurgarda and the hotel offers a taxi around £15, if you’re daft enough to pay. Egypt have Uber and it charges £2 for the same trip.
The entertainment was okay but not 5 star, they looked bored themselves, most probably due to repeating the same thing day in day out.
We never had waiters come to us for drinks as we didn’t tip and that’s what they constantly expect. The drinks are nothing special.
The guy who fetched us towels was the kindest man there.
On the last day, being collected at 8pm by transfer, the staff removed all inclusive bands at 12pm and refused to let us access food or drink, we were informed our holiday began Monday from 2pm and ended Monday at 12pm but we didn’t arrive until Tuesday 2am and didn’t seem to be an issue taking £110 for the day we didn’t access anything as we was not physically there.
This is not a 5 star holiday!!

The hotel is rubbish, with loud music at night until 12 o'clock. The worst thing is that the front desk had a bad attitude from the beginning when we left. It took a long time to check out and then they said we stole his hangers. We stayed for two days and didn't even open the closet. How could I come from China to steal your hangers? And they opened the suitcase in front of them to let them see it, with a very arrogant attitude, but they didn't even look! They just wanted us to pay money and insisted that we stole his hangers!!!

Food quality is bad and there is a limited variety of cosine.
WiFi in rooms is chargeable and disconnected outdoors.
The coffee machine is always switched off.
The location is far from the city centre and downtown.
