Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort & Spa

I am writing to express my serious concerns and dissatisfaction with the treatment my husband and I received during our recent stay at Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort and Spa. We were guests at your resort for a week, and unfortunately, our experience was severely impacted by the rude and discriminatory behavior exhibited by most of your staff members, as well as the substandard condition of our room.

On our first day, while seated at a table in the Bay View buffet area, one staff member approached us and rudely asked how many people were in our party. I informed him that it was just the two of us, but he curtly stated that the table was for four and insisted we follow him. He then seated us at a small patio table for two. Although we chose not to make an issue of this at the time, what followed was deeply troubling. Shortly after, we noticed that one guest was seated at the Bay View table for four that we had initially been moved from, which made us feel that we were being treated unfairly.

Throughout our stay, we were repeatedly approached by various staff members who unnecessarily asked how many people were in our party, despite seeing us daily. On the third day, after we decided to ignore this repetitive questioning, the same staff member who had mistreated us earlier spoke to us in Arabic, further making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

In addition to the unacceptable treatment by the staff, the condition of our room was far below the standard we expected. The room was outdated and dusty, and the bathroom had a persistent and unpleasant odor that made it difficult to use. This greatly detracted from our overall experience and left us disappointed with the accommodation.

Given the price of the room, we expected a much higher level of service and hospitality. Unfortunately, the treatment we received did not match the cost, and it was evident that some guests were given preferential treatment. This is unacceptable, and it is crucial that all guests are treated with the same level of respect and courtesy, regardless of their background.

As a result of our experience, I cannot recommend Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort and Spa. It is essential that your staff receives proper training to ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued, and that the quality of the accommodations matches the price paid.

I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take immediate steps to improve the quality of service and accommodations at your resort.

I am writing this review during my stay. You see, it doesn't take you a whole week to figure this place out, you pretty much can tell what it is after spending two days here: it is Russian-occupied territory. Towels are dropped on sunbeds before sunset, much like flags are planted to claim territory. Waiting lines are cut, because why would you wait in line? Food at the buffets is hoarded, no doubt to prepare for harsh Russian winter. The staff behave as you would expect from people who see a foreign nation take over: some gladly take money to look the other way, others are too afraid to speak up. But they all speak Russian way better than English. The hotel management probably doesnt care who lines their pockets. Grading this place makes little sense, since the Russian occupation here degrades everything anyway.
If you ever want to experience what it would be like to live in a world dominated by Mother Russia, feel free to visit this Sunshine Gulag. Or just take my word for it: it sucks.
