Port Alicante City & Beach

The hotel had a nice pool but the water was a bit too cold. The staff is very friendly.
There is a beach nearby but you still have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get there. 10-15 minutes away by walk there is a tram station and you can take line 4 or 5 to get to Alicante city. The hotel also has beautiful interiors. We had a very nice stay and would come again.

Pretty good, breakfast and dinner is very good. I loved the decorations they look nice. Pool is awesome. There is 1 issue though, the room cleaner left our window open and when we came back there were alot of ants in the room.

The hotel has been newly renovated with good service, and the buffet breakfast and dinner were very good. We had an à la carte lunch once, and it was an even better experience—I highly recommend trying it.

We were disappointed that the double bed was actually two single beds that didn’t stay together. As we have a small baby, this was dangerous. The room was very small and lacked a separate bathroom. The bathroom is not separate from the main room.

The pool was great but cold. Even the children's pool was very cold, which isn’t ideal, but our baby managed it.

OK, got there and was immediately impressed. Until we found that our room was in the older part of the hotel and had no A/C on this very hot Sept evening. We got their attention and they arranged for an upgraded balcony room overlooking the pool area. Nice change. Lesson Learned: be sure to book your room in the new section of the hotel.

The very great hotel, and there is a strong feeling that management is working to make it even better.
Would recommend room with a balcony (without may be also OK but all 1-star rewiews are about the part of hotel without balcony, which is older). Our room was spotless and with a nice smell (without tobacco, as this is a common problem for this region), cleaning services very nice - washed floors every time. The room arrangement is also original, was convenient and we liked it a lot.
Facilities can make you hold in the hotel (do not forget that there is a nice beach nearby) - swimming pools (one on rooftop), bars (rooftop again with a great view in the evening), and lobby with comfortable temperature, that you can stay after/before check-in.
Breakfast - very, very high level. Variety of everything, and with day-to-day changes in the offer. Not every 5-star hotel can provide such level.

As for an advice to management - wrote in booking, but will repeat here - some minor adjustments to the doors needed in our room, double bed could have been connected as they tend to move away, AC makes vibrations on the highest power level. Also residues in shower (especially in the silicone) makes it feel untidy, but in our case was still good enough.
Welcome water or refillable jar would be so great as well.

We stayed for 14 nights and the hotel was fantastic. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The roof top pool and bar is exceptional and was the main reason for booking the hotel as we just wanted to relax and chill. Breakfast was great, with a wide variety which changes slightly each day. We only ate once in the hotel at the buffet dinner, which was good value for money and at the weekend, the rooftop bar cooks a small selection of dishes which taste lovely.

Location is about 15minute walk to the beach or restaurants nearby, however the tram station is close, which provides easy access to the city or other locations along the coast. Alternatively, taxis are pretty cheap when using cabify app.
