Port Alicante City & Beach in Alicante

Restaurant staff were excellent, obliging, polite and welcoming. The food was very good and thete was always a wide selection of dishes.
The rooms were clean and the view was interesting

The hotel is really good, the room is very clean and I would recommend the breakfast and dinner buffet.

This is an excellently appointed hotel, close to the beach (although not quite there), but not your usual Mediterranean beach hotel, much classier. We loved the simple yet tasteful decoration, however their main asset is the staff, consistently nice, knowledgable and ready to help. Regarding meals, we cannot emphasize enough the variety they offer in their buffets, both at breakfast and at dinner. Of note is their offer of a couple of paella style rices or fideua every night. Some -not all- were memorable. Looking forward to going back!

Excellent! The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The balcony was a great plus. Very good breakfast and dinner, with quality products. There's a bus stop right at the hotel entrance that takes you to the city in 30 minutes. Two lovely pools. Make sure to choose a room with a terrace to be in the new building, which is much more pleasant than the old one that has no balcony and is a bit out of the way.

Excellent dinner and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a whole, breakfast was busy but again very worth it

Overall we had a really nice stay at this hotel and it fit the exact purpose we needed for, it was also the best value of anywhere around.
The hotel was clean and the room and the staff were lovely , every time we needed some information the staff were very helpful.
The breakfast service was a buffet and at 15 EUR/ person represented great value with lots of different options for different kind of diets. I was running the marathon in Valencia and needed to keep my diet plain and clean, for anyone else doing something similar in the future I would say that the breakfast and the dinner are sufficient to correct carb load if that's what you need to do. The dinner buffet was 25 EUR and unlike breakfast, did not include any drinks. It was still good but a bit too expensive, we felt a bit too compelled to order paid drinks and there wasn't really anything I needed from the drink menu, I didn't like this. There are also things that could do with improvement, especially considering the 4 star rating of the hotel. Some of the facilities and amenities are now very date, particularly the TV in the room was very old and too slow to operate. The gym was quite decent for a hotel and had good weight options , but I would advise against using the treadmill, the belt got stuck while I was using it and I almost fell. Either the belt needs replacing or the entire treadmill. The sauna is free to use and was really nice, but the wooden benches are very loose and feel like they could give way especially on the top bench. None of these problems were big or impacted our stay, but the hotel should consider upgrading in the future to maintain their high standard.

Missing a mirror in the bedroom! The Aircon was a bit warm. I was sweating almost every night. We stayed in early November.
Wish we were allocated a better view room as it was the first holiday Spain for me.
Kudos to the housekeepers for keeping the room, toilet and the entire hotel clean and smelled pleasant. Modern compact hotel yet luxurious feeling. Staffs were super helpful, warmth welcome, very proactive.
The food was good in a lovely cozy restaurant although not fantastic however its perfect for seafood lovers. It was only 15mnts before dinner was closed but the receptionist allowed us to enjoy the food as we were late checked in (2 couples).
Great location, very strategic to the beach and shops, public transportation.
Lovely cozy lounge and bar. Lovely rooftop and view! In general all was well organised and maintained. Only thing the bar closed too early 😴 should be at least 1am :)
Additional: our good friend D. SANTANA is currently staying at the hotel to celebrate her Hen Do party with other 2 friends. She was impressed with the photos and videos we sent her about our stay at Port Alicante and location . Hope she is having a blast!

Everybody was very kind and helpful. The hotel was clean and the food was delicious. The hotel can be easily reached by public transport, moreover the sea is just a 10- minute walk from it.
We had a wonderful time there. I can recommend it to everyone.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Port Alicante Hotel. Everything was more than excellent. The common areas even smell really nice :) The staff were very kind and helpful. At the beginning of November, we even used the heated pool on the roof, and the temperature was very pleasant. We had half board and the food was amazing, qood quality with variety od seafood and fish at the dinner.
The only thing that would have improved our experience would be if dinner started at 7:00 p.m. (instead of 7:30 p.m.) as we have small children and it was a bit too late for them. We would be happy to come back :)
