Alicante is a beautiful coastal city in southeastern Spain, located on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its sunny beaches, historical sites and food
It is part of the Valencia Autonomous Region and is also a famous holiday resort. Must-see attractions in Alicante: • Castillo de Santa Bárbara: overlooking the
Tips for others: Get to the pool early for the best loungers. If you want morning sun, get a sea-view room. For evening sunsets, go for a marina view
Best hotel in Alicante Amazing views to the beach and the city
But the price of more than 2,400 per night is really not worth it. The bedding is average, and it still feels itchy. You have to use disposable bed covers. The hotel does not have its own parking lot
Stayed at the Melia Alicante for a week with my friends for birthday celebrations. All I can say is WOW !!! Amazing hotel and staff. Hotel was spotless and perfect location to everything you need

One of the best 'value for money' hotels I have ever been! New and stylish, perfect location, the great service... And on top of all that - amazing breakfast!
Absolutely the best AC in Spain. The staffs are lovely. Room is comfortable and stylish. Food is delicious. Deco is beautiful. Perfect location too.
Very good rooms, location and service. The hotel restaurant has a great menu for dinner with salads, salmon and dessert. Breakfast is very good but they need to offer tomatos, cucumbers and peppers
They didn’t refill any drinking water (there wasn’t enough drinking water anyway), so I had to go buy water from outside. Other than cleaning service, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay there
We loved our stay at AC Hotel Alicante. The staff was kind and gave good recommendations. We loved the rooftop pool and bar. It was a great place to hang out and meet people from other places
The hotel is not in the center but very well connected. Te staff is very kind and the rooms were clean. They provide many amenities as well as a kettle, a clothes iron with board and hair dryer

Some mix up with rooms when we arrived but got sorted quickly. No issues with food whatever good choices. Only negative was that the bar on the roof top doesnt open until 12
Away from urban areas and scenic spots, it is suitable for people who like quietness and lying down during vacation
I stayed at Port Alicante City & Beach for a week with my family and we really enjoyed it
The hotel was very clean, the staff were always friendly, and the location is perfect, just a short walk to one of the best beaches. It made our stay easy and relaxing. We’d definitely come back again
The welcome was quick and friendly. We opted for a room without a balcony because nothing else was available. These rooms are located in the old part of the hotel
It was a great location, a nice walk to the beach and restaurants. About 25 minutes from the airport too. Thank you all so much for a lovely stay!

We stayed 2 nights and had a good time. The hotel is well located. The breakfast was excellent. The gym is useful, but difficult to use if there are more than 4 people. There is also a sauna available.
The room is in a good location, very convenient to the seaside avenue and the castle, within walking distance
Nice and simple hotel with a very good location. The receptionist is friendly when we check in. But I got disappointed when she forgot to order my cava/romance package at night
The room had everything I needed and was comfortable. This is a good quality place to stay.
Hotel opposite the Mercado, close to the pedestrian area and many attractions of Alicante. Central location allows for convenient sightseeing during the day and night. Rooms clean and comfortable.
A large hotel with a very good location. The rooms and the hotel as a whole were clean, but untidy - there are quite a few small defects everywhere, which make an unpleasant impression on the guests

It is located next to the Santa Barbara Castle and can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot. There is a bus stop to the airport nearby, just a 3-minute walk away
My room was located high up with a view towards the castle. Good overall location however it is around a 20-25 minute walk to the center and promenade
Nice staff and clean, functional hotel. Good location close to tram and bus connections
it's a 10 min walk to the nearest beach, which has all you need including bars, cafes, waterspouts, etc etc. The Hotel is located in a VERY GOOD position. it is more than adequately clean, room service everyday
It takes about 18 minutes to walk to the city center, and you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and the beach along the way. The staff are polite and the breakfast is very rich
The walls in the rooms seemed a little thin as I could hear some noise from the neighbouring rooms at times. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful

We had our first meal in the El Olivo restaurant which was great but expensive, so ate all our other meals outside of the hotel. It’s a short 15 min walk to the beach where there are many restaurants, cafes and bars
The pool was lovely, we always found a sun lounger when we needed one (we went early July, don’t know if this was a busy or quiet time), and the poolside cocktails were great but very expensive
The room was amazing, with a lovely view over the golf course, and the staff always super helpful and friendly! We cannot praise the hotel enough, absolutely wonderful
This was our second stay at Hotel Alicante Golf, and once again, absolutely blew our minds away. We adore this hotel, and hope to get back again sometime soon
It’s a 5 min walk between 2 tram stations which we used to go to Alicante, trams were easy to use and the hotel staff were very helpful explaining this to us
The area is very safe and quiet during the day and comes alive at night, but it was still very safe and we did not have any problems with noise at the hotel

I don't think I would use this hotel again because of the breakfast and location, however, if walking isn't an issue and breakfast isn't essential, this hotel could be highly recommended
very conviniently located, delicious breakfast, helpfull and polite staff.
A very nice hotel which is centrally located. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room is of average size and has a safe and fridge
I really staying in this hotel. Staff was very helpful and  kind for me,good area, room was bigger than i expect, cleaning not wake you up,if you have "no disturb"on the door
It's a short walk away from everything you need to visit, which means it retains it's spanishness but is a little bit calmer than other's

We stayed for 7 nights with our kid. Communication with the hotel was not that great and we ended up paying 175 euros extra for the 5 y/o kid’s extra bed
The location is very good. There are various small shops around. The beach is just over 100 meters away. The facilities are old. Everything else is OK.
Great location, good transport links, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The room has a balcony with a sea view.
Clean and comfortable.  Close to beach.  Need to get the tram into centre of Alicante.
Hotel spectacular location and very clean, the stay was great, spacious room and terrace
The room is very good, the balcony is very big, and you can see the sea from the balcony! The only problem is that the bar next to it is a little noisy at night, but it doesn't matter to people who are not sensitive to noise

Rooftop pool and terrace is outstanding, although small, with views to the cathedral and the castle. The experience at check-in was not great at all. specially the guy that asked for our documents
Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Alicante. We were met with a glass of cava, staff were very friendly and helpful. I booked for a massage for the next morning which was also wonderful
Location is unbeatable even for a manageable city like Alicante - walkable to the water, the cathedrals, art museums and the castle. Other amenities - Pool is a good size with plenty of loungers
We ate at two of the recommendations and they were fabulous. Perhaps the guide makes one less adventurous, but when every other storefront is a restaurant, it’s helpful to pare down options
The staff are so friendly and helpful, and speak so many languages. They obviously get a lot of questions about what to do and where to eat so there are two PDFs as guides
They provide towels and water for the beach. You never have to wait too long for a cab. There’s a small library on the mezzanine if you want another place to chill

It was very correct, the service and location were quite good. Everything under the norm
Very clean hotel and friendly service, breakfast was a buffet, and lunch and dinner were served from the menu
The hotel is about 15 minutes away from Alicante Airport. There is a bus line 23 to the city 20 meters away. The breakfast is buffet style and the taste is average. There is a KFC nearby that has not yet opened
The hotel is quite good in general, services, cleanliness. But when you are assigned a room that faces the street, it is impossible to sleep, it is on an avenue that has a lot of vehicle traffic
There are no commercial areas or restaurants around
You pay for lying down unable to sleep

I stayed one night with my family. The reception was fantastic and the rooms were very clean. I will return again.
The hotel is very good. Having a car is recommended for getting to the beaches and exploring other areas. The cleanliness was fine, and the buffet was great.
It was only a 10 minute taxi away from the airport and a 15 minute taxi to the central part of the city so travelling to and from the hotel was very easy
Nice hotel, aut alecante from airport
I was personally happy with it. 🍳🥐☕ However, one thing surprised us: there was no drinking water provided in the rooms. If you wanted water, you had to go down to the reception area to buy it
It was super easy for us to communicate with staff as English speakers. Any help we needed was always provided. The room was great! Super comfy and fun for a party of 3 to stay in together

Wonderful location, clean rooms, kindly stuff. The breakfast is included and it's not bad. The hotel is placed really close to the train station, the centre and the beach as well
Very good location Very clean Need update
Well costed budget hotel in Alicante centre. Old fashioned and simple, but great for the price. Clean and comfortable.
It was by far the worst hotel of our trip in Spain. The beds were hard solid, there was no European plugs for charging our devices, the room was extremely hot without AC. It looked and smelled the old property
The hallways echo a bit and the walls are a little thin so you can hear doors slam or people cough, but it’s not enough to really cause a disturbance- but if you’re a lighter sleeper I would bring earplugs
Old fashioned but very central hotel. Its not modern but aircon worked , toilet was spacious and fine, single beds apringy but ok and its very central

The food tastes really nice and to a very good price. The staffs were so kind, helpful and very quick to make the food. Here we want to highlight Jimmy, Kelvin Monica and for being ekstra kind to us
Get to see the sunrise at breakfast which is a novelty. The rooms are good, provided you get a sea view, although floors 2-3 are more desirable as there is a garage infront at ground floor level.
Not bad~ but if you eat in the room and don't clean up the garbage, there will be ants
Nice quiet area, little beach 2 min walk away plus lots of other gorgeous beaches just a sort walk or tram ride away. Thank you Selin and everyone else who’s names we didn’t catch 🥰😎
The location is very close to a really nice beach. The view from the room isn't great but the food here is brilliant
If you go to Alicante, Spain, and are looking for a great place to stay that is close to everything via the tram system. If you like amazing views of the Mediterranean. Do you appreciate super professional staff

We did not use other facilities but they looked OK. Would well recommend paying the extra for a room with a view as the square and castle at night where well worth the extra €20 or so
However, all sofas on that terrace were soaked (I guess it rained a little before we came to Alicante), and during 4 days nobody even tried to dry them up
Excellent service and well-maintained facilities
Very good location. Our room had a view of the mountains. Spacious room, clean, the breakfast was simple but good. Friendly staff.

Really nice hotel. Very comfortable and everything you need. Would definitely stay again.
Good hotel, near beach and tram into the city. Hotel restaurant was overpriced for the quality of the food.
Amazing hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday. Although not much shops nearby.
Breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff are “top shelf”. The only issue is the water in the rooms. When you have a shower, the water turns from warm to scalding hot to the point it can cause injury
very good hotel, nice rooms with big balconies and most of the rooms with pool view. pool is very chilled, there is a bar. You can't bring your own drinks. San Juan beach (very clean and nice) is right across the road

The furniture was in good shape and our room was equipped with a safe and a little fridge. The room was not too big but we already knew that before. The bathroom however was spacious with a large walk-in shower
As previously reviewed the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours conversations and our room had a lot of road noise (ear plugs recommended). The staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful
Choosing this hotel turned out to be a good decision: The hotel is located in a residential area in the district Cabo de la Huerta. From there it is a 15-minute car ride to downtown Alicante
Great hotel! Lovely to be near the beach. Food was great and staff were very helpful and polite. Special thanks to Miguel who was particularly friendly!
For our two weeks vacation in Alicante we were looking for a nice and affordable accomodation in a non touristic area
Lovely small hotel, the pool was a delight and the rooms were well-furnished and clean. Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating!

I really liked the personnel, who were friendly, helpful and could communicate in English. The location is suberb (close to the tram station, bus stop to/from the airport) as well as the price
Some things need renovation, but everything in my room was working. 'Late check-in' - True, but there is an opportunity to leave your baggage in a special locked room and walk before check-in or even after check-out
Here are the most common complaints that I came across: 'Noisy, thin walls' - That's true, you could hear the details of your neighbors' conversations and every flush in the toilet. However it's quite calm at night
It is a perfect variant for city explorers who plan to spend 2-3 days in Alicante and walk a lot. To conclude, I would like to say that you shouldn't expect a royal palace from a 2-star hotel, judge respectively
Well, I have been staying there for an extended weekend in April. Before the trip I went through the reviews here and I was a bit stressed about the stay, but everything went just fine
'No remote control in the room' - Simply ask for it at the reception (If you travel to sit in the room and watch TV) 'Everything's old, renovation is needed' - Not that critical

It is easy to get here from Alicante airport whether by bus or taxi. We love the location as everything we need is walkable and it is very close to the centre of Alicante for cafes and shops
Very pleased with the property and its location. Not a single negative.
Very good location and spectacular treatment
A convenient location that's just in front of the entrance of the Alicante train terminal. Since Alicante city is suitable to walk for sightseeing, I recommend this place if you have train departure in the next morning.

Excellent location, modern and clean rooms, very friendly staff. The only drawback was that the room faced the avenue and there was a lot of car noise. Otherwise, a great experience.
Not bad, quiet quaint little place, not high expectations considering the price but location is good and overall ok
good location, clean and easy to go sightseeing spots from the hotel. they do not offer any drinking water, but clients can go down the lobby to enjoy expresso-cafe there with some pantry.
Stayed in this hotel for 5 days and had a very good experience. The staff was polite and welcoming. The bathroom only had shower gel and water and a plastic cup for washing, but no toothbrush or toothpaste
This is a nice little hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to the port, old town etc. Street parking was easily available, not free but 1. 80E for two hours plus after 8pm to morning was free
