It is also close to all the outstanding places in the city such as Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum and Madrid de los Austrias (the old centre of Madrid). The Atocha train station and the next Metro station are in walking distance (approx. 10 min.) Location is fantastic. Close to all main attractions in this area and plenty to eat. The employees are all great to deal with and the breakfast is good. As far as the hotel it's self it might be going through some remodeling that hasn't reached our room. The bathroom leaked the first day we arrived and they luckily fixed it right away but the sink was loose, the bathtub has some algae growing on wall, the room has no natural light and very dim lighting, and the wall paper coming off on some areas. Overall, I wouldnt stay here again. But if location is what is important to you, then it's the spot.

The staff was extremely rude and displayed a poor attitude throughout my stay. I was assigned a room in a hallway undergoing renovations, which meant waking up to construction noise and dust from the nearby rooms being renovated. Despite this, the staff never offered an apology. Additionally, the rooms did not match the photos shown on the booking site. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that I would not recommend

Room was nice, modern and clean. However the staff were not very friendly and came across quite blunt. It is in a good location in Madrid that it is close to a lot of things you want to see. However the street in particular is a little dodge and it is quite noisy on the street as well.

Good rooms. Comfortable for Business stay. Take a walk and enjoy architecture of Madrid. Reasonable breakfast spread

I had a pleasant experience here.
Positives
-Hotel bang in the centre of Sol Madrid
-Great power shower
-Comfortable beds
-Friendly staff

-Quite noisy, but bearable.
-Rooms fairly small with no good views
-Breakfast is ok, nt a huge amount on offer
All round a pleasant stay for a 3 star hotel.

we had mixed experiences. I probably would not stay here again.
The positives : closest to a lot of places, and really didn’t need a cab for anything.
The Cons: we had a terrible experience with the structure of rooms. You can literally hear everything from adjacent rooms. Apparently with little noise ( noise chats) our grumpy next room neighbors couldn’t sleep. The noise from adjacent bar was super loud at times but we never complained, considering it’s Madrid! Anyways, lesson learnt ! The front desk just really didn’t show any sort of customer service nor checked in stay, but did answer our questions. Anyways, would probably not stay there again !
We asked a few times for additional support for ironing etc but they almost forgot every single time.

While the hotel offers a prime location near Puerta del Sol in Madrid and spacious, clean rooms filled with natural sunlight, it's essential to note that noise from adjacent rooms can be easily heard. In particular, my room's proximity to the service area resulted in frequent disruptions to my morning sleep due to constant openings and closings. Thus, I would caution against booking this hotel for light sleepers seeking a tranquil environment.

Everyone in the staff are very helpful and the location is perfect for visiting Madrid attractions. As an American tourist I had no problems and the breakfast buffet is a good value at 10 euro per person (though a little light on vegetarian options). Rooms are standard and maybe could do with more windows and furniture, but all essentials are certainly there. A nice perk is that there is a gym and rooftop.

Close to the city centre, and specially to Puerta del Sol, its location is its great asset. A decent hotel overall, it lacks severely in soundproofing.

Room was good although bathroom was a little dated. We stayed in November & the room was so warm we had to open the window. The AC is heating only, so I would not stay here in summer. We like the location & felt it was value for money overall.
