The NH Madrid Chamberí hotel, formerly known as NH Bretón, is in the Chamberí district of Madrid - a charming spot with some of the best gastronomic choices in the city, lovely tapas bars, trendy shops, and a leafy park. Paseo de la Castellana, the city’s financial and business corridor, is only five minutes away on foot, so the location is also perfect for business travelers. For access to Madrid’s city center, hop on the metro at one of the many nearby stops, such as Alonso Cano or Gregorio Marañon, and be there in just 20 minutes. NH Madrid Chamberí has 56 rooms that let in lots of natural light and feature a classic decor with sleek hardwood floors. Each room comes equipped with free Wi-Fi. An extensive breakfast buffet is served each morning in our cozy breakfast room. The varied spread features classic continental breakfast choices alongside local favorites such as churros with hot chocolate and Spanish omelets. While we don’t have an on-site restaurant, guests will find a delightful variety of dining options just steps away from the hotel.

Bad:
-very strong air freshener smell throughout the halls and lobby I don't know how they can work everyday with the nauseating fumes
-no ac during November very hot at night

I can say it is beautiful and the rooms are perfect for a short stay.
The staff is very kind and friendly, absolutely attentive if you need help.
I did not dine but the breakfast is also very good - I recommend this hotel.
I I booked queen bedroom through (booking) and they said it's not available and they change it to twin bed room, which i don't want.. and when i ask for the room i booked they say talk to the manager monday, after my staying time which makes no sense
AND THE WALLS IS NOT SOUND PROOF, I couldn't sleep at night because of my next room and I blame the hotel itself not the people who are next to me
