Luxury hotel located in the original mansion, built in 1894 by French architect Louis Legrand. For many years the mansion served as the residence of ambassadors and noblemen, the name of the hotel inherited from its first owner, the Duke of Santo Mauro. The building of the mansion, decorated in a classic French style building has a beautiful garden and Park area. The hotel offers excellent service, fine cuisine, comfortable accommodation, suitable for family or romantic holidays and business trips.

Excels in many things. First the design to the utmost detail of fine design. The staff is really trained to attend you at any moment. The patio in the backyard is absolutely delicious, for lunch or dinner with an exceptional service but simple food for midday. Lack of noise it is really charming. One of the few real 5 stars hotel in Madrid. As great one!!

Hands down the best hotel I have been to. Attentive staff and beautiful rooms. The courtyard and sitting areas are also beyond splendid. Special shout out to Carmen on guest relations. Her and her team made me feel at home and are the reason I will be staying at the hotel again when I return to Madrid in 3 months.

Started out as an sporadic location and finally I have selected this fantastic location to enjoy my weekend evenings either by myself or with gear company to taste the cocktails made by the hand of Filippo, the bar manager. I have kept this location a secret and will continue to do so to not overload with outsiders.

I will definitely return and recommend to the ones who can appreciate the architecture, amenities, excellent service and anticipation of guests needs.

We discovered this gem randomly and decided to drop in for lunch. The staff made us feel so special and were so kind. The food was also delicious and the service was spectacular. The outdoor garden area is a dream and I high recommend it

Amazing stay and experience with Santo Mauro. The property was beautiful, incredibly kept and the staff were elite in their attention to detail and service. Santo Mauro is in the ideal neighborhood close to dining and shopping. Make sure one meal is spent dining at at the Hotel, they have an exceptional wine list to pair with a great menu. 10/10 experience and cannot wait to stay the next time I am in Madrid.

Beautiful hotel with a lot of character. Location near a lot of shopping. Amenities for this level of hotel is lacking though, no pool/hot tub. Only a sauna and steam room is available.

The hotel is the best version of the Marriott brand I have ever seen. .....and I have seen a lot of their hotels. The service is over the top great! They make you feel like you are their only guest. The surroundings are beautiful and the gardens perfectly manicured. The food was excellent and the room very clean and well appointed. They pay attention to detail in every way. Gabriel and Maria at reception were very helpful in helping me navigate the city and in getting things done. Both are exceptional examples of what it means to make a guest feel at home in a city far away from home. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. I would give Maria and Gabriel 100 stars for their thoughtfulness and focus on the customer.

Room was very nice and spacious. It included all the important amenities. It is located on quiet street with neighborhood feel. There is no concierge lounge, but nice lounges on main floor. Breakfast was good. Fitness center small. Overall great experience and I will stay here again.
