NH Collection Madrid Suecia

Stayed at the NH Collection Madrid Suecia for a family trip to Madrid with a 7 and a 5 year old. It’s Europe so we planned on two rooms and the hotel was great about having them next to each other. Hotel staff, esp Javier, was universally welcoming, offered up suggestions and helped book reservations where needed. Hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable, and location is great… 15min walk to most key attractions. Breakfast buffet (which was part of our package), was outstanding, a great variety of cold and hot items. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at NH Collection Madrid Suecia. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed by the warm and attentive staff. The service was exceptional, and everyone went out of their way to ensure a comfortable experience. The hotel itself is stylish and well-maintained, with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Madrid!

I really like this hotel. Everything about it is great! Starting from the staff working at reception, the service helping with the bags and the staff working in the restaurant.
The breakfast has a big variety of different spanish specialties and also vegetarian options.

I stayed at this hotel for a 10-day business trip. The ambiance of the common areas and the breakfast are fantastic. Thanks to the service and retro decor, you feel like you’re in The Great Gatsby. The rooms are very nice, as long as you get one with a view of the outside. 1st night my room was inside view, they helped me to change. They’ve thought of every detail. In the evening, your room is refreshed, and there are small surprises. The team is very friendly. The concierges, especially Javier and Dany are very professional and welcoming. The location of the hotel is both central and secluded from the tourist crowds. Being an old building, its biggest drawback is the lack of parking. They park your car at another location for you, so it’s important to be organized and make a reservation in advance. There are many private events on the hotel’s bar and terrace, which should not be closed off to guests. Aside from these, it’s truly an excellent hotel.

American Tourists here. We booked NH Collection Madrid Suecia as part of a Costco travel package. The hotel was in a fantastic location for being able to get to all tourist attractions. We were able to walk to everything. The hotel and its rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The rooftop bar was fun, but often busy with private events. There were a couple of times that we weren't allowed up or were seated, but then asked to move because the table was reserved. Our room was actually on the top floor right underneath the rooftop bar. Most nights, we could hear the music from the rooftop bar as we were trying to fall asleep. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The majority spoke English, which was appreciated as we do not speak much Spanish. I appreciated the extra little amenities--snacks left in our room every day, a robe and slippers left in our room at the end of a rainy day.

Our fight from the U.S. to Madrid arrived around 10 am and we got to the hotel around 11 am. We were really hoping to be able to check in early as we were exhausted from the travel and needed a nap. We were unable to. Fortunately, they did hold our bags for us. Once we did get checked in around 2 pm, we immediately took a nap. We were woken up to a loud persistent knocking on our door. A staff member was delivering a complimentary bottle of water.

Absolutely Smashing Stay.

From our warm greeting at the beautiful entrance and payment of our bill, it was a most enjoyable experience. My girlfriend and I decided to stay at the NH Collection Suecia out of curiosity as much as anything because it is a stunning location in every sense. The staff are charming - very attentive without being intrusive. .Very quick check-in, kindly given an upgrade & very detail-oriented service which is what I experienced throughout my stay.

Service at the restaurant and the Sky Bar was good. Very attentive without being irritating. The facilities were also excellent, I ended up using the gym daily (pre booked at Front Desk, do not forget) as it was excellent and modern, I enjoyed working out all alone!

The room was a good size, bed & pillows (3-unit set) was super comfortable I had a great sleep. Cleaning throughout the stay was to the high level expected, great daily turnover service with delicious chocs. I had a nice fluffy robe and slippers.

The porters were on hand even to help with hand luggage down the short stair case. This happened both at check in and check out. The hotel is in a fabulous location, close to Museo del Prado & Gran Vía, & also a short distance to the airport. Will definitely stay here nice time I’m in Madrid!

Great Staff and location. Hotel rooms were tidy and turndown service each day was a nice touch. our package included breakfast which was lovely each morning!

Hello, we loved our stay at NH Collection Suecia. Veronica and Yolanda at the front desk were awesome. Veronica spent about 2 hours helping us figure out all of our Covid testing papers and health forms for our upcoming trip. She was extremely helpful and someone please give her a raise. This hotel was perfect. Great location and more importantly, the staff was outstanding. We also loved the roof top bar attached to the hotel. It was such a good experience and I can't wait to come back. Great job guys! Keep up the good work.
