Hôtel Wilson

Rooms were spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. Internet connection was really bad. WiFi and our Internet didn't work properly in the room. Breakfast was delicious but (imho) expensive €7,5 per person one croissant or pain au chocolat,1 pot of coffee or tea, 1 glass of juice, 1 baguette to share with jam & butter (e. g., no musli, cheese, fruits or unlimited drinks) . The hotel was close to...
Great place to stop for the money, very clean and cozy, and super close to city center and beach.
Male service members (2/3) know English well enough to help you with any questions regarding your stay and are very kind and helpful.
Windows are little bit old but there are warm blankets for your convenience when nights are cold.
I recommend Hotel Wilson without doubt, based on my experience.
One of the cheapest places for a couple traveling together. Single rooms, with variable amenities depending on the room. Quiet outside, but quick and easy walk to the busy parts of Nice. A fan is provided in each room (thank god). If you're used to the hostel experience it'll feel almost luxurious!
Also there's a turtle that lives there and may visit you, he's awesome.
Great friendly hotel, room has superb decor and everything is comfortable. Only drawback is that the ensuite has no toilet...
Friendly, personal and central B&B. Very affordable considering the location and standard.
Small but lovely and clean rooms. Very friendly host. Nice location in the center of nice. Windows to the street, so it was a bit noisy. I would come again.

I wish I took more photos of this hotel so that I could help recommend it for others who are unsure. When planning a holiday in Nice, this was one of the only affordable places for us as we are young and on a budget. The mixed reviews were a little worrying and we didn’t know what to expect when we turned up. The photos and old reviews do not do it justice. First off the location is perfect; right...
Perfect location. The room is very clean and has all necessities. The reception is very helpful and communicative.
Nice hotel. Room was little, but for me it was enough, pretty clean. Bed was very comfortable, kettle and one cup in room was nice. However, the blanket in bed had a bad smell and stains, maybe hotel should consider buying new ones.
And location is perfect, close to grocery store and some shops. To beach is around 15 min by walk.

Good, accessible, reasonable and centrally located. Clean. Serviced daily, good helpful staff.
It's a convenient place to go anywhere, and the entrance is auto-locking, so security is perfect and safe.
The room is a double bed and a twin room.
The kitchen was fully equipped with tableware and cooking utensils, and I enjoyed shopping and cooking at the morning market.
The room was very clean.
This is not the best equipped hotel I have ever been, BUT its very close to everything. If you in Nice and wanna stay in the hotel all day find something else.
The room is very small but clean.
It is true no elevator.

the grandma downstairs is awesome. and the half bald guy with glasses.
I've stayed at plenty 2 star budget hotels and this one is just passable. It's very old and run down looking and the room was dark and dungeon like. The bathroom was real cramp to point of almost being unusable. The internet was fast, but they use a connection gate that you had to constantly re-log into, very annoying, but a lot of places in France have the same problem. It was just a tad too grungy...
The rooms are quite small and the hotel overall could do with some renovations. But it is serviceable as a place to sleep and charge your devices. Would not say the breakfast was worth it, you can get a better deal on the restaurant street.
Too much noise from the neighboring rooms and from the outside. Otherwise its a good accommodation

This place is right across the beach. There is a nice cafe downstairs and the room gets quite cold. We had a lovely view overlooking the outdoor patio. The reception was very friendly. I made the mistake of booking extra night and they cheerfully refunded me the amount despite it being non refundable.
Unusual hotel on the third floor of a charming building ideally located in the old town of Nice. The staff is charming, the room simple but clean. The only downside is the noise from the street despite the closed windows and broken shutter on our room! Another downside is no breakfast in the hotel.
Location location location. Smack bang in the middle of everything. Basic but spotless. Fridge in the room which was great. Staff where great, friendly and helpful. Lovely and bright once you get to the hotel which is on the 3rd floor. Don’t let the ground floor put you off. Great value compared to some others.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Love the old elevator and floors. Real classic feel. Very good location amid all the restaurants and fantastic view of the beach. Nice terrace to get fresh air. Good security. Parties nearby was a bit noisy so probably ideal for young travelers who stay out late. Great location
What a gem, the upgraded sea view room was awesome, so worth the extra money and the hotel is a great bargain anyway. we were in room 1 and shared the balcony but we had our own chairs too. You don't get a better view of the sea than this for the price. Our room was HUGE. we had an updated bathroom, a king bed (unheard of in Europe) a kitchenette, hot pot and AC, ect I have no idea why there...
Solid rooms for decent price. Location has great access to the old city and is right on the seafront, at the center of everything which is fun but very touristy and busy. We were bike touring and with a tight elevator in an old building it took a lot of manouevering to get our bicycles up to the hotel to a secure place.

Brilliant location, rooms very clean and a good size with a decent bathroom, we did hear noise from the street but that did not bother us. Will definitely be going there again, thankyou to the staff.
Really nice hotel, with modern and new installations. The room was super comfy and big, with AC and big bed. The only thing I would recommend is to increase wifi access in room 2
Great small hotel in fabulous location, just a doorway on the street, but modern clean and stylish interior, good breakfast on the terrace. Would happily return.
nice, good standard, nice people, central.
Cute little hotel with new stylish rooms right in the old town of Nice. We'll come back!
Difficult to find the entrance. Outside of building looks very old and worn. Upon entering the hotel, I was delighted with the modern updating of the interior. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, as we arrived on an early flight and desired to check in by 11. We stayed in room 2 (small basic room). It didn't have a good connection to the WiFi. This is a no-frills hotel. It’s not pretending to be a modern masterpiece. There are small rooms with bathrooms and they are perfectly comfortable and clean. The draw here is the charming location in the Old Town, the friendly and helpful service (really helpful in letting us check-in early and looking after our bags etc), and the overall feeling that you are really IN Nice. We very much enjoyed...
Wonderful location near everything.
Clean and sanitary, warm service.
Good location for the vieux ville and port. You can walk everywhere easily.Hotel is in former convent near the tower. Basic but clean and staff very pleasant. The old building needs a refurb, and a few extra touches would make it much nicer. But good price during the ironman weekend and we were made to feel v welcome.
A beautiful, quaint hotel in the heart of the old town in Nice. Just stayed for here for 6 nights and I have to say - it was wonderful. It’s tucked away down a little side street but right close to the markets, shops and restaurants. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and polite and it was a pleasure to stay there. Although my room was relatively small, it was very comfortable and lovely and...
The hotel is a little tad dated & needs some money spent on renovating it. As well the air conditioning wasn’t working fully. It wasn’t hot but still it didn’t seem to send out cool air when I tried a few times to get my room cool. Great location.

This hotel is in a great location, next to the Fontaine du Soleil and a quick walk to the Old Town. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We only stayed one night and that was perfect for this location. The rooms are extremely small (two of us barely fit in with our luggage) and the shower was so tiny that you couldn’t turn around. Also, while they do serve breakfast, you have to notify them the...
I really want to LOVE this hotel. We were fortunate enough to get the only balcony room they have and it was amazing. There is a ton of potential here. The rooms are clean, up dated and modern, but craftmanship and details are greatly lacking. Bathroom door handle fell off in my hand as I touched it. The shower head sprays EVERYTHING. Toilet constantly runs after flushing, and not a lot of hot water...
I stayed with a group of 11 of us recently. Great location, rooms were good and breakfast was great as well. The only thing it needed was a pool! I know due to the building being built in the 19th century there was no way for it to be built but if it was possible I would recommend they added one :-D.
Superb location and for that reason would stay again. Staff were friendly, room was clean. The room and bathroom were very small, so would not recommend if you are wanting to spend time in your hotel room.

My Daughter and I stayed in a top loft room, which was great for a bit of exercise. In fact most of southern France was good for exercise. Fantastic position - so close to Old Town and beach. The hotel is on the first floor so need to carry luggage. Staff friendly. The Hotel was a traditional property with a vintage feel. Basic facilities but perfect for a short stay of four nights. Comfortable bed and room with small shower room sink and toilet. Air conditioning. A unique Hotel. The owner / manager and her staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly. However, the room was very small for 4 people and they only had 4 separate twin beds in one room!! There was no garbage, hand soap or shampoo in the room.

My wife and I stayed here for four days in late November, we had a great experience - our favorite stay during our trip to France!
The hotel has been beautifully redone - clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms have a very cozy and calming vibe. Ours was on third floor, with a serene view of the rooftops and fall trees along Boulevard Victor Hugo.

We chose this boutique hotel partly because it was available on a British Airways package and partly on account of its location. Le Soleia is near to the promenade and also the railway station and is in a tranquil part of town, not that far from decent restaurants.

What can I say, incredibly friendly staff.
Both front of house and the kitchen staff - all so welcoming and helpful. Spacious and bright rooms with super comfy beds and quality bath products. I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Nice. The location is absolutely perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a little details – like the fragrance in the lobby –that made this stay unforgettable, elegant. When I come back to Nice, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
The room is quite big. I booked the top floor with a balcony. It is very large and comfortable to look out over the city. The lighting reserved for work is quite poor. I can only move the table to the door of the toilet, where the light is brighter.

We enjoyed our stay overall, except that one man at reception was very rude and demeaning.
Everything else was excellent. Rooms were clean, location was perfect, all the other staff was kind, polite, and helpful. Amenities were great. It would have been a perfect review except for first impressions by rude receptionist.
We love staying here, the terrace rooms are fantastic although when it is very hot it could do with an umbrella for shade but I understand that the wind up there does not make this possible. The staff are friendly & polite and were extremely helpful. This hotel is always our go to when we are in Nice
This hotel is okay if you want to be close to the airport. 5 minutes drive. It is rather new. Rooms are pretty cramped versus what they show on their website. Very little space to manœuvre between table and beds. The bathroom cabin is a good idea but it is on the cheap side. Nothing like a Japanese bathroom cabin unfortunately.
