The space is small but good for a quick trip or layover. The only downfall is there is no wifi or food other than breakfast. Check in was extremely good and easy overall I would give it 3.5/5

All are good and up to standard. Only downside was when I was there, the WiFi is down so it goes without internet. Other than that, it's good. There's an interesting feature where if you go with friends and stay in different rooms, there's a secret door connecting to two rooms.

Got a cute little room on the top floor. I like small room so everything is within 2 steps reach. I have a backpack only. If you have a big suitcase, get a bigger room. Nice room, quite snug especially with two big luggages. Room is old but can see patches of minimal refurbishing done to the bathroom. Was skeptical due to other comments about bathroom smell but wasn’t an issue for our room. Breakfast buffet was great with loads of selection and decent price compared to having breakfast elsewhere. Love the complementary coffee whenever the restaurant is open.

Hotel Florence is a petit sized hotel located in a very convenient and decent neighborhood. You can easily hop on to the tramway (which is less than 5 mins away), or take a short walk southward towards Place Massena in around 10 mins. The service overall was excellent, but they had some miscommunication with the booking agency and configured the room incorrectly. Overall a great for value hotel.

Receptionist Barbara was fantastic as I had my phone stolen during the day and arrived at the hotel upset. She immediately offered to contact someone for me and printed off a boarding pass for me straight away as it was on my phone that had been stolen. I was tired after my trip and greatly appreciated the friendliness of the man who checked me in. There's a ramp up to where the elevator is located, so it's easy to navigate with suitcases. Room was small, but that was fine, and the barhroom appears to be recently renovated. It even had a small balcony with a couple of chairs.
