Had a wonderful stay at Porto Veneziano. I had booked a sea view double room with balcony and was upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious with so much choice of both cold and hot dishes which were cooked to order. The location is perfect, and close to many lovely restaurants and the shops. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe.
I am visiting Crete next September and will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel Porto Veneziano is by far one of the best locations for Chania. The view from our 3rd floor balcony was amazing. Perfect for a glass of wine and the view in the evening. It is easy walking distance to interesting areas of this beautiful town. The staff goes over and above to please the visitors. The bar is great. Friendly bar tender and the included breakfast was delicious. As I said the table service was outstanding.
We will definitely return to Porto Veneziano Hotel and recommend it to friends as the go to hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Spectacular location — close to everything with excellent service! The only downsides were that the room was very small (barely enough space for two medium-sized suitcases) and that the à la carte breakfast was charged separately, with prices not listed on the menu. It would be helpful if the property clearly displayed breakfast prices to avoid surprises..

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean and beyond comfortable .

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Porto Veneziano! The location is perfect, the rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our first visit to Crete unforgettable. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating—always ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to their fantastic recommendations for dinner reservations, local gyro spots, the most beautiful beaches, and more, we were able to truly enjoy everything the area has to offer.
The hotel’s food and bar were excellent, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and completely safe. We can’t thank the staff enough for their warmth and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend Porto Veneziano to anyone visiting Crete—it’s truly the perfect place to stay!

Excellent location in the Old Town Harbor and we had a great view f4om our rooom. Parking was vetry convenient. Lots resturants available nearby. Breakfast was fantastic.

Very satisfied. The old-fashioned style feels quite elegant. The price is not expensive. Most of the travelers are English-speaking and elderly. Haha, they are very friendly. The hotel has an excellent location and parking is an important reason for choosing it. The environment is better than the pictures. The breakfast is very good. The location is excellent and not noisy. The bed is very comfortable. The other facilities are very ordinary. But I will come again!

The Hotel is in a charming location in the old Harbor,with nice restaurants around;The hotel staff,all of them,are very helpful and kind,they helped us in making reservations to restaurants as well..The Breakfast was the highest highlight for us,local and international products,lots of options,everything was very tasty and fresh,high quality! We didn’t like the Room beds,extremely soft and seemed to be old,we didn’t sleep well unfortunately,with some back pain after the night,both of us..If the beds in our room were better,I would give 5 stars for our stay,but unfortunately we didn’t like them.
