Hotels with pool in Hungary

It would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water in to be fridge and after 3 nights I had to ask for clean towels but other than that, a pleasant stay

During winter, the outdoor pools and a large restaurant are closed. When you open at 6 am little people, 7:30 am - in thermal for 4 people, swimming in 15 people

The river-view rooms get a lot of sun. While the shady side rooms, and the common areas were quite cool, even in July, The 2 days when the temp got up around 30c, it was a bit warm. The rest of the time it was fine

Three of those have a large balcony, which is perfect for an evening drink and cigar. :) Note: As is common in traditional European hotels, these rooms are NOT air conditioned. They have copious windows and a fan

Ole allegiance. Wonderful staff. 2 nice cafe/restaurant. Stayed 2015. Views of Duna river. Lot's of places to walk to. On a bus line, and staff will call for a cab, they speak English! Wonderful

Would give 5 stars but with a caveat. We had a room with a balcony and views of the Danube. The room is large with beautiful antique furniture. The room has a Minibar but no kettle

When we stayed there there were alot of people staying by the pool when going out for breaks from a conference room. Pool water clean, spa is small but nice. Unfriendly staff except the lady from the welness area

Their garden (more like a park) is full with toys and playgrounds for kids, and looking over a dense forest. And dogs are allowed at the restaurant too. It's just 10 minutes away from the popular green hiking trail

It'a nice to stay 1 or max 2 days to relax however relaxation at the pool is dependent on the events they have with big groups of people

Outside there are plenty of playgrounds on an enclosed area which is amazing if you travel with kids. Also the pool had a good size and a little plattform for kids who can’t swim yet

It’s absolutely unprofessional to not inform hotel guests about this invasion (I assume some kind of summer camp) since we assumed the pool was exclusively for hotel residents

My experience at Castle Garden Hotel in Budapest was great overall — the rooms were clean, the location is quiet yet central, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming

There was no 'do not disturb' or 'clean my room' notice and the cleaners did not come on our second day. I asked at reception for them to clean the room the following day, which they did

When we asked later at reception where to purchase bus tickets we were given a vague direction "in the square" which was very unhelpful

When we arrived from the airport at 12. 30pm, we were abruptly told that we were too early, but then told the room was ready

We said good morning or evening when coming and going to the person on reception but this was not always reciprocated

We had room only but were given no instructions about the hotel, breakfast, restaurant, spa, or the local area

The pool area was great, saunas were brilliant. Our room was not so great. Smelly and we had bugs in our room. We were scared to open the window. It was boiling hot. We didn't sleep too well. The food was great.

For me the best part of my stay was the staff. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The food is great and the restaurant is very clean and nice. Thank you very much Karos Spa.

Peaceful environment, spacious rooms, and excellent, healthy food prepared with care - the dinner was the best part of our stay! The spa area is almost empty (stayed in May) and there are plenty of chairs/loungers

Amazing vacation, great all you can eat food, we had a wonderful time. Really family friendly!

The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and tries to help you. Different activities for children, playground and toys The SPA is big enough with several pools and different kind of saunas

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. Perfect location in Budapest, huge rooms and bathrooms (it’s worth the upgrade for the city room with balcony), and excellent cafe / restaurant options

The lobby and spa are stunning. I loved that this hotel was walkable to all the best neighborhoods / nightlife in Pest. It’s also ideal for families given all the amenities and food options nearby

We wanted to try the café but the line was very long so my friend and I decided to sit in the bar. We were lucky to catch the bar opening ceremony and were served a yummy complimentary cocktail

We initially planned to have some tea which they graciously served us in the bar (jasmine pearls - so good!) and were also given some honey nuts

It’s a nice perk to be able to skip the lines at NY Cafe for drinks. We stayed 5 nights and wish we booked for longer

The location was ideal for getting around town too although there were not any decent restaurants in the vicinity that we found. We ate in the city center most days. All in all a great stay and a place I would recommend

The hotel facilities include washing machines, refrigerators, clothes drying racks, etc. The bathroom is a little old, but it is clean. Breakfast is in the basement lobby, and the food is good, with several hot dishes

Where to start, the room was extremely spacious with cooking facilities, great shower and a comfy bed and pillows. There was also free washing and drying facilities on the mezzanine floor

The breakfast was good with a varied selection of breads, juices and salad, meats and cheeses. There were also protein juices and Bucks Fizz should you so choose. The staff were also very helpful and friendly

com and the site stressed the importance of calling the hotel to confirm you were checking in. This is nonsense as we were told this was absolutely no necessary by hotel staff when I called

Very fancy. Staff are very nice and ready to help whenever. Breakfast every day the same and runs out very fast but the people serving it are very nice and helpful

One of the best accommodation in Hajdúszoboszló, easy access to the strand (outside pool, spa) but in case if bad weather, the hotel has it's own pools and relax area. Can onky recommend it

Good food NV,a great private SPA with two thermal pools under the roof with great ventilation. The concept of the hotel-maximum comfort and satisfaction of all guests ' needs without stepping beyond the hotel

Spa very well organized, clean, with everything you need (two thermal water pools, one regular pool, 3 saunas -finnish, bio and wet-, cold water tank)

Food was very good, nice room but a bit dusty and small, services are good and personnel very kind, so overall happy.

Very welcoming atmosphere and you sense it already when you enter the building and get a nice glass of lemonade. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, the hotel has to be either new or newly renovated

There was always available parking spot in front of the hotel. The wellness area was perfect. We are definitely coming back

On the golfcourse the greens could be harder, faster, the bunkers softer, but it's still above average

Opposite the hotel is a good restaurant Alma and Korte typical Hungarian cuisine and good quality. I would recommend this hotel to everybody

Breakfast was elaborate and of excellent quality. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, but not far from several great eateries

On the minus side: - food in buffet is varied and attention is given to restricted diets but whatever runs out isn't always refilled, so go early - elevators are sloooooow :D - skyrose bar has great view but slow service, so be prepared to wait On the plus side: - good sauna variety (but not always at the indicated temperature) - interior pools (nothing special but handy when the weather's bad) -...

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't

Excellent hotel, delicious food, breakfast and dinner,large selection of food. Excellent spa, swimming pools, 4 types of sauna, steam bath, everything excellent

Very good location (Balaton Lake is only 100 m; hotel has its own beach at the Lake); delicious food (every day different dishes!); rooms are big enough, new, comfortable, clean (good view to the Balaton); wellness is average (except saunas, which are varied, you can choose from 5 types); Air conditioning is not settable by yourself (sometimes it was too cold in the room)

They only cleaned my room twice, and on one of those occasions, they cleaned the room but not the bathroom! Unexplainable! I had to go out and get towels after a long day at work. Dinner was buffet-style, nothing special

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

We were there several times and in a high season but it didn't feel crowded. This hotel is a way better option compared to Azure 5* Premium (espcially regarding rooms and food), definitely recommend to everyone

Small pool for kids was also good, maybe 1 small slider was missing for kids. Saunas were excellent, divided by temperature and at last day even steam sauna was working

Azúr 4* was very fine, room was perfect (1st building, 2nd floor) and clean, safe and capsule coffee machine and water boiler available in the room

Staff was nice, wellness is very good (big pools in and out), food was fine (buffet type half board), vegan and kid options available, the lake is just right outside of the building. Many entertainment options for kids

The only downside of things is that you have to pay for drinks at supper time even as a hotel guest. In most hotels I have stayed at drinks were always included in the price

Very good hotel service but rooms too small for a 4* hotel. The bathroom also lacked liquid soap at the sink. Sensational spa area, several pools and jacuzzi. Good food for breakfast and dinner

Great rooms, great pools, great food, great service!!!!! Cannot give enough praise! We loved every second there and wish we could have stayed longer. Reachable by bus or taxis for those without a car

The staff is very nice and helpful. The wellness is big and clean. The kids really liked the pools. There were children's programs almost all day

It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue. There were buffet menus for breakfast and dinner (2 sittings I believe last one at7pm)

The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools

Inside the spa, the facilities were noticeably run-down. The outdoor area was poorly maintained and far from the relaxing atmosphere I had imagined. What bothered me the most, however, was the state of the thermal pools

The water in the medicinal pool was far from clean—there were pieces of skin, various floating plastic objects, and clumps of unidentified debris. It was unappealing and unhygienic

the rooms are amazing and the light there is really thought trough! Surruoundings of the hotel are beautiful! Selection of pools is big enough and you won't be bored there! If you aren't a pool person, theres more fun activities downstairs such as bowling, pinpong and many others

Hello, Overall it was our very pleasant stay in your Hotel. We were bit dissapointed regarding partialy not working airconditon and thermal pool out of order, despite that it was enjoyable vacation.

Particularly noteworthy - and thus a big compliment to the hotel management - is the outstanding condition and playability of the outdoor tennis courts this year (04/2024) compared to previous years

Please, Danubis team, maintain this quality. There is some room for improvement in the attentiveness of the service staff. Overall, it was once again a great experience

One of the best places to stay in Budapest. Prime location, next to the Elisabeth bridge, easily accessible from the most scenic places in the city. The staff is very supportive and always available for the service

You could hardly be in a more well located hotel! However, we were given a ron on the first floor, with a windows to a busy and noisy street

We had a bit of average experience at the hotel. The location is great and staff is friendly but we were disappointed but they never address the issue that room was very hot and it was uncomfortable to sleep overnight

They acknowledged it is very hot and the only way to sleep is leave the window crack open which we did from 2nd night. I doubt they have switched on the central air conditioning and blame it on the technical issue

The location of the hotel is perfect. Staff are very warm hearted 4 minutes walkable to the city center. The sauna facilities is very new and maintained good. The hotel room is a bit small but they offer extra bed

The reception is very helpful and thanks to them. I got the limited Lake Cave boat tour ticket. The playground is free and the paid mini golf are very interesting and good for family trip

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent wellness facilities including a cave for therapeutic relaxation. Good choice of food and plenty of it. Love this place.

We have juat visited this hotel with my family, 2 adults, 2 children; family room ! Okay, hotel, or at least the room we stayed is totaly retro, BUT, the food was great, superb, grandma style cooking, fresh, we had buffet dinner, not a single word of bad I can say, very friendly staaf; we even tried the lunch menu, it was great, plus child menu, served quickly and fresh, absolute value for money

Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

TV in the room has few Hungarian, but several German and Slavic language channels. Downtown is max 10 mins walk, really refreshing. Overall stay was exceptional, thank you very much for the great time!

Nice hotel near the university, and the city center. The bathrooms are not very modern, but the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super helpful, and the wellness part of the hotel is also great.

Lobby bar has friendly staff and authentic cocktails. Bathrobes for rent are available for cheap price. However free of charge to rent, bring a hairdryer as they are not installed in the bathrooms

Breakfast is hearty (Hungarian style) with drinks included. Excellent hotel personnel, free to stay until 12:00 if your room is not immediately occupied after your stay
