Its lovely clean and modern Hotel. Rooms small but does the job. Nothing was a problem. Staff are lovely and cleaning lady was superb!

This hotel can be described as an average place to stay – not really high standard, but not the worst either. It’s basically just a place to sleep with very minimal facilities. The receptionists are friendly and professional. Unfortunately when we arrived, all the people had to check in at the hotel next door and it became a long line. Still the service is fine. They offer drinks on the reception - quite sweet. Drinks in the fridge are also free. The money value ratio is quite acceptable.

Centrally located. Perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Rooms are neat and comfortable. But no kettle, no water, no tea/coffee. TV is rubbish - a couple of news channels and the rest is Hungarian. Breakfast is passable. Not much choice. No fresh fruit. Fridge doesn't work.

Nice room, but the lighting is pretty bad. Lightbulbs are small (maximum 10 Lumens) and 2/3 are working. Rennovations are taking place at the hotel. It's noisy from 8am in the morning up to 6-7pm

The location of the hotel itself is good, everything is very accessible. The room was big and comfortable, beds were nice. The coffee in the room is weird, a 3 in 1 sachet, which is no good if u want black or no sugar. Breakfast is a total let down. Overall a very good hotel, we didn’t experience the breakfast as bakery’s (Artizán) are nearby. But the location is spot on. Penny’s (Local store) just around the corner, tram on the next street and approximately 20 min walk or so to arrive at parliament building. You can’t really ask more from the rooms, comfy bed and decent shower.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. Our TV was not working and it was fixed on the same day. Twice our safe stopped working within reporting within 10 minutes they sent person and fixed. For vegetarian, the breakfast was limited, but there was choices of pastries and bread and fruits.

The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month). The hotel is really 5 minutes by walk from the center so the location is great. Otherwise it is quite obsolete, and even looks dirty (the walls, carpet). The bathroom is not so attractive either. If you have something to do in the Kolcsey Center this is a good choice since its 1 minute by walk.

Rooms facing the park are large and relatively quiet. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy and are quite small with old TV sets. Bathrooms are generally ok, but the shower cabin could be designed much better... Breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone. Hotel has a nice swimming pool and limited spa/gym facilities.

The AC did not function in my room and I reported it many times but they never responded. I woke up sweaty all the time. Not highly recommended as there should be better in Debrecen. The room was average for the price, this is more like a 2 or 3 star hotel no way 4 star. Good for soldiers as there were many in this hotel for breakfast

I really loved staying here in the midst of COVID. They were extremely clean and followed all safety rules and regulations. It’s okay for a night stay It’s a good enough hotel for a 1 night stay. I requested late checkout and we could stay until 12 free or charge. Hotel Ginkgo offers a friendly and convenient option for a very good price. Breakfast is included with hot and cold selections. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The only issue we had was with housekeeping; room cleaning was sporadic and superficial and towels were sparse. This was in contrast to the common areas of the property which were spotless!

Right by the Kelenföld station in Budapest, I arrived by midnight and was welcomed by this chubby (meant in a friendly way) and very friendly receptionist who got me to my room and was very kind. Beds are nice and not too soft, the breakfast is alright too. A big plus is the free coffee by the reception haha.

Great three star hotel, perfectly placed near metro line number 4 which is taking you to the city center. Decent breakfast, rooms nice and clean, very friendly stuff. Daily parking is one of the cheapest in Budapest, 10€ per day.

Good size room and bathroom. No fridge and hot water kettle. I love the modern design and wall papers. Small breakfast room, only good for 50 seatings. Breakfast selections are good. Take note that they will ask for your passport for identification and scanning. Its an odd requirement before they give youe room keys. Too narrow entrance and exit gates for bus.

Nice hotel. Conveniently close to the thermal bath and swimming pools. The restaurant offered great selection of items for breakfast and for dinner as well. All in all a good hotel to stay at to relax.

This hotel is a hidden treasure. We didn't expect much, stopping for one night before our flight, but knce we got there we wanted to stay. Perfect place for athletes, especially for football players. Aside from the hotel and spa there is a very well equipped gym and a training hall for handball or table tennis. Outside there is a full size grass football field with a stand, and at least two grass training fields.

Nice hotel next to the Valence lake with small indoor and outdoor wellness pools, jacuzzi and few saunas. Staff very kindly, room clean and comfortable. Excellent food.

The hotel staff is great, the food was very good. The wellness section is is quite big compared to the hotel size. The one thing I was not totally satisfied is the temperature of the steam cabin, a bit warmer would be better.

The hotel is 500 meters from the bus station. It is an old-fashioned hotel. The shower head is like this. I can't take a shower. I didn't eat breakfast, so I don't know if it's delicious. It's OK in Budapest.

The Food was excellent, there is even decent espresso at the included breakfast. The game room with bar look okay, but the pool tables are made of steel/a lot of metal and feel from the 1950s or earlier. They cost extra/frame, althogh at the reception we were told it is free. Very clean hotel (rooms, spa zone, corridors...), all personnel take care of this, they are polite and servant with customers. Good and plenty food, all tastes available. Good value for the money we paid.

Well located hotel on main pedestrian street with pool and fitness of its own. Somehow the rooms were still not noisy while balcony door was open. The meals of day (breakfast and dinner) are well variable during longer stay (we had a 5-night vacation) and we did not get bored of "all the same on different days" meals - it was not the case here.

Retro hotel with a beautiful huge garden right at the lakeside of the Balaton and one of the best views to the lake and to the hills of Tihany. The decoration is awful from the inside as well as from the outside, or rather the lack of it. Looks like it's never been renovated in the past 60 years. The only reason I'm giving the hotel a rather generous 4-star rating is its beach, which is pretty dang good for the cheap entry fee of 1-2 euros max, especially when considering that you can rent a wide variety of boats there, too. Really old fashioned and basic. Ideal for just staying the night and a quick dip in the lake but don't expect more. This used to be a really fancy hotel with quite a bit of features and activities but they were clearly abandoned.

We were on the free beach in Kenyes. The time and the water were excellent. You can get a delicious flame in the buffet, but you can also have ice cream. We had a lot of fun.

It is a very cozy settlement on the shores of Lake Balaton. It is cozy to walk along the beach all year round.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms leaves a lot to be desired. We booked a stay for two adults and one child. On the spot we learned that you have to pay extra for the child because he is 10 years old. It is a pity that when placing an order, there is no indication of the age of the children.

This is probably the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip to Europe. The environment, breakfast and location are all good. There is a great view restaurant on the top floor, but reservations are required in advance.

Good location, next to the cathedral, with a SKY BAR to view the top of the cathedral. But the price/performance ratio is poor. It's a small hotel with a small facade and no obvious signs. It took me a long time to find it.

This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.

My third visit to this hotel after so many years made me change the good opinion about it that I had from previous visits. Dark corridors with stains, small outdated room, to go out at the balcony is forbidden , because they put solar panels and something could fall. The biggest disaster is the bathroom where one part of the door of the shower cabin is literally missing, there is no shower holder either...

Great place to stay and relax during long trip in Europe, close to motorway. Unfortunately I stayed only night hours and didn’t have the opportunity to get much more of this great hotel. The staff in the reception is absolutely fantastic. Very kind and helpful. Parking is exactly in the front of the entrance and feels safe. Definitely we are going to stay here many more times.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel as they mentioned but overall experience is good. Rooms were nice and clean. AC was not available but I think for this price point and with other facilities like wellness, bowling, games its nice. Surrounding is superb. Food was also good but for vegetarian not too many options.

It is beautiful and very comfortable! The service was amazing,the food,which serves both hungarian and international cuisine, were tasty and beautifully served. The food was self-served, I really recommend the desserts. The staff were very kind and understanding if there is a problem. The pool and jakuzzi were my favorites, we went there almost everyday. You won't have any problems staying here. It's spacious enough for one person. There is a hairdryer and the shower is fine. No toothbrush provided. Luggage storage available. There is a currency exchange nearby. Near the tram station. There is no kettle in the room, but there is a microwave and kettle in the dining room on the 1st floor that you can use. Good location to cover old town and clean and comfortable stay

The room is spacious and bright, with a balcony. Opposite is the library, Christmas market, cathedral, and pedestrian street are all nearby. There is also a Chinese restaurant near the hotel with good food.

Overall, it's a very satisfactory hotel. However, the water in the shower room doesn't drain well. The location is also really good.

The price/performance ratio is very high! The bathroom door design is very useless. It is very difficult to open and close. The bathroom supplies are also empty and not filled in time! There are no slippers. Sometimes I forget to bring them, which is very inconvenient!
