It was almost good the staff was not so cooperative

The rooms are what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel. They are clean and spacious, but in need of a face-lift , no tea, and coffee making facilities . The staff were pleasant and helpful. There's a restaurant and bar, can't review the food, we didn't eat there but the the alcohol is cheap , Location, about 5 minutes walk from the city park, and hero square, about 30 minutes walk to the elizibeth...

The service and food is very good. The room looks a bit "tired" but still very nice. The bathroom is nice too. The location is excellent because its not far from Heroes' Square or Andrassy ut or the Museum of Ethnography. Overall a very nice hotel.

It is a prima hotel to stay. Nothing fancy but good enough. There is a quality difference between the new and the old ward. In the old ward, the beds are less comfortable, and the bathroom is quite old, but it still does its function, and it is still clean. The new ward is much better. The location is beautiful and quite. Breakfasts are good: Scrambled eggs, pasta, sausages, three types of cereals, multiple types of cheese, ham and cottage cheese, toasts, hummus, yoghurt, fresh vegetables and salads, seasonal fruit, pastry. The hotel is very clean in general. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.

There is not enough possibilities to charge your mobile phone or whatever you need to charge, not in the room and even not it the lobby. It could be quite a frustrating situation.

We stayed here for three nights in early September and had a wonderful stay. Rooms were ample, bed was comfortable, breakfast was abundant, location was exceptional (right next to Heroes Square and the subway), walking distance to many many things and lastly, the staff went above and beyond in providing five star service. This is a great choice if looking for a fairly priced hotel in Budapest.

Great location near heroes square and on a metro stop. Use the metro don't be put off. It's not difficult. Instructions on ticket machine are in English. One single ticket on Metro can be used on numerous journeys, say you need to change lines that's fine with one ticket. A bus is one ticket one journey but all from same machines and at 550 huf it's cheap. Just remember to put ticket into get stamped...

Good hotel for a quick stay in Budapest. It was a perfect location to go back to after a long day of traveling and exploring. Stadler Gyorgy was really great at check in and helping answer all of our questions, we appreciate his professionalism and the personable experience.

The hotel staff were super friendly and thoughtful. The location was great — really easy to get around by bus or metro, and it’s right on Andrassy Avenue, so walking around was super nice too. It felt safe and quiet, especially with the South Korean Embassy just across the street. The breakfast buffet was amazing — great quality and lots of options. Highly recommended!!

Doing a long weekend winter escape with wife and kids. About food, I love food so it's important. Good breakfast, and we take our dinners in the hotel, it's self service. Nice and clean hotel with a small pool and a nice sauna area inside.

We had an amazing experience. The staff was very professional and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the were nice vegan options at the breakfast buffet (vegan cheese, milk, tofu). Very recommended!!!

Location is very good. They do not provide anything else additional, everything is with extra charge. No kettle, no fridge, no slippers or dental kit. You have to pay a deposit. Breakfast was good.

The hotel has decent room and breakfast. Breakfast menu choices should be improved. The tap water is said to be drinkable however it comes too hot every now and then, even at the coldest setting. Single liquid for soap, shampoo and conditioner. No lotion in bathroom. AC is a bit weak and recommended to leave it on during hot days with keys inserted. No gym, swimming pool, sports, games etc.

We stayed for one night, the room was on the second floor. We really liked it. The only thing is that the shower is only overhead, and there were no shower caps, which is uncomfortable for guests with long hair.

Very comfortable and central 3 star hotel. Check in time is fairly strictly adhered to in summer although they gave us our room half an hour early and were happy to store luggage. A good basic breakfast buffet.

Hotel was very nice, sauna was exceptionally good and hotel staff friendly and helpfull. But restaurant was below all expectations. In normal day, it was 1/3 full and it took 1h 20min to get food from daily menu. Tenderloin steak was first way over cooked to rubber, second try was well done+ despite specific request for medium. Waitress didn't tell that que was 1,5h and our evening plans were ruined

I was looking forward to this trip but unfortunately the hotel did not meet the expectations. The rooms were nice but the swimming pools were really dirty and full of dead skin. Everyday it smelled like urine around the bathrooms and there was a lot of water on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. The food was good but there was not much diversity. I was there for a business trip and forgot my iPad in the room after I checked out. They delivered it to the office. That’s 5 star service! Everything else - rooms/ breakfast/ general service as well was perfect.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

Polite and helpful staff, quiet hotel

Really good value for money, very nice hotel with friendly staff. I was impressed by the spa, especially the 25 meters long and 1,80 m deep pool. The two saunas and the steam bath are great too. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is modern and the whole place has a good feel about it. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at the Abacus Hotel during which time we were celebrating a friend's wedding. The hotel staff were fantastic and we were delighted with our room. We only wish we could've stayed for longer. Thank you!

We had a very good stay. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel is really 5 star quality, the food fantastic, the spa very good, the rooms are comfortable and the personnel is very helpful. And in the same time you can feel the history behind the walls. It is a place where must go.

Anna Grand Hotel is a well-known beautiful hotel. The location is superb. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff was not at a very high level upon my visit. The facilities were very nice and also the food was OK.

Everything was awesome, the staff was kind, the food was really cool, not to mention the spa. It is also possible to rent a bike. The classic rooms felt like a bit old (furniture, design), but this was the lowest category so it would be a same to give 4 because of this. 🙂

Super friendly staff and clean room! The bed was really comfortable and easy to access to the tram! I love to walk, so I walked to the metro station, but it was still easy to transport and safe neighborhood! There is not much surrounding, so it was pretty quiet during the night! I would love to stay again!

I was assigned a room at the very edge of the top floor. The room was very simple, like a loft. There was no heating in the room (only the bathroom had heating), and it was very cold to sleep at night. The wireless signal was very poor and could not be used normally.

Best place to stay in Heviz! The owners are great (treat you like family) and the staff is as well. Close to everything you might want to do in town but on a quiet street.

Excellent service from the personnel. Hotel room was big and clean. Breakfast had a variety of offerings and hotel's location is really good: 15 minutes walking distance from the thermal lake and close to restaurants and shops. Nicely positioned, comfortable and very reasonably priced hotel. We had a beautiful large apartment with balcony looking over the garden. We enjoyed our stay a lot, although there was one member of staff we didn't take to. Overall a nice place, blighted by that one rude man.

A nice hotel located in one of the best cities in Hungary. The restaurant is cool, they have a gym and a spa area and a huge courtyard with a playground and sun beds. It's surrounded by the forest and there are a lot of beautiful places to visit around the hotel. Suitable for families mostly but would be good for couples as well.

Luckily during my stayed I bring my own toiletries. The hotel just provide shampoo and soap only due to reducing plastic use. The Air conditioner could be more cold, lobby feels colder than my room. Other than that my stay was good.

Good location to go Fisherman’s bastion and Buda castel.

We enjoyed the dinner we had in the hotel restaurant, and we thought the lobby area was very modern and fun. The carpet in our room and through the halls was gross, though, and they really should replace it with vinyl, tile, or wood. It would be much more sanitary and appealing. The hotel environment is nice, but the facilities are quite basic. What made me really angry was that I left my pajamas on the bed, and when I came back at night, although the bed had been made, my pajamas were thrown on the floor! We spent the New Year’s holiday with family, and nothing bothered me. We also got an excellent price compared to other hotels in similar locations in Budapest.

The room is not big and it is a budget hotel. We stayed there for three days and the breakfast varieties were almost the same. The room has no windows, and the smell in the bathroom is hard to get rid of. The front desk is still very welcoming, but the hotel door is a bit small and not easy to find.

A perfect place for a congress

Super little hotel in the centre of Budapest. Clean, modern decor, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff and even a locally brewed IPA on tap at the bar. Perfect for a weekend break in the city, all the main tourist attractions were within easy reach and it was almost on the marathon course too - making it easy for us to cheer on our daughter. This hotel in downtown has a good room size and is very convenient for traveling.

An old hotel very close to the city center. It's an older style hotel (rooms have physical keys and not key cards), but they are clean and overall OK. The staff was nice, the on-site restaurant offers quite a good variety of things at a reasonable price.

I would rate it at all about 4.4 because we had to wait more than a hour. If I only rate the food only then it is 4.8. The cause of the 0.2 deduction is that the portions weren't that big(or maybe just mine, because others were ok with the size). The service was perfect. Prices start at 4400 HUF. Everyone decides if that's much or not. But how the foods looked was gorgeous, as you can see on the pictures

A nice hotel with a good location. Very close to the city centre. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Very little noise from the street/other guests. Breakfast was okay with a couple of different options. The sauna was nice too, although the floor was a bit dirty. Be aware that the sauna is not only for hotel guests, though.
