Florence, Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico 2 🧭 Map
Typical European boutique hotel ... small & cozy. But this hotel was pretty dated & in need of some repairs & renovation. We were supposed to get adjoining rooms as we were 3 with a special needs daughter. They initially placed us in 2 rooms, one in the 1st floor & the other on the 3rd floor! But glad they were able to find 2 rooms opposite to each other on the same floor. There were cracks on bathroom...
It's what I would call a "boutique" hotel in an older building. The room I was in showed slight wear, but this did not detract from my experience and the property was otherwise immaculate. All staff I encountered were excellent. The location is great - close to excellent transit and fairly easy walking distance to the heart of Florence.
This was a great boutique hotel and we had a fantastic time staying here for three nights two weeks ago. Rooms are very well appointed, breakfast is great and the location is within a 1-1 1/2 km walk to most key sights in the city, but also right on the tram line in case walking isn't desired. Highlights are clearly the rooms themselves and the wonderful garden bar that you can enjoy for drinks before...
Check in and out was very easy and it was 7 Euro per night per guest for the city tax. The grounds are very nice with an outdoor bar and sitting area. Comfortable bed and decent toiletries. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It is about 1 kilometer from the city center but there are some good cafes across the road. There is a team that you can take to the city center for a...
The hotel is ideally located but unfortunately, that's all it has. The room was shabby, no air conditioning the first night.. the breakfast is worthy of a cheap cafeteria.. employees who eat breakfast in the dining room with the customers.. signs of wear and tear throughout the establishment.. I do not recommend it because it is only worthy of mediocrity.
Very clean; staff extremely helpful and kind; great location right next to a tram stop from the airport and an easy walk to attractions; full breakfast; woukd stay again.

Hotel was very clean even three stars hotel but there were bottles of water in fridge we were satisfied that’s nice I mentioned like this because I and my friends went to Rome stayed in 4 stars hotel but there was no anything to drink and room wasn’t quiet clean like hotel Cosimo in Florence we loved this hotel if we visited Florence again we would stay in Hotel Cosimo De’ Medici again certainly
Location! Location! Location! Literally, 10 min walk from station Restaurants, coffee shops and more right outside Main attractions within walking distance 15min or more Tea/coffee avail through day - 2bottles water daily Fridge in rm All major attractions within walking distance
Strategically well located, within 3-5 minutes from the Firenze station. With lots food options at reasonably and budget priced. For instance, just outside the hotel, less than a min walk, a Chinese no frills restaurant provides a good Asian spread of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese Ramen and fusion at competitive prices. Mcdonald is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Other Italian restaurants are found...
Location is convenient to get to almost all the scene spots by walk, however the service is not optimal! We reserved a room with double beds which it was organized and not helpful to solve the issue. My friend had to find another room eventually!
Location is excellent, just 5 min from train station, so no need to walk a lot to hotel with your heavy luggage. Can also take a rest during the day as it is very close to Dumo. Have two supermarkets nearby. Newly decorated, very nice.
The location is very convenient , supermarket and food shop just few minutes from hotel. To the famous travelling spots are within walking distance

Well located Hotel. Very hard to adjust temperature on the air conditioning.
Very small hotel, the room is very small and not very clean, but there is a small refrigerator in the room! Because it is in the city center, it is extremely convenient, you don't even need to take the bus or subway, you can reach all the main attractions in Florence by foot, although it is small, if you come to Florence, it is very good to stay here, because it is really suitable for walking, the...
Great location, good breakfast, poor soundproofing, friendly and helpful staff
Good location, near train station Good service Good breakfast
Very close to attractions and train station, the room is large and comfortable, the only downside is that you have to walk up half a flight of stairs before you can get to the elevator
It should have been renovated in recent years, but it is still quite old. The breakfast was very bad and unpalatable, the ham was moldy, so I didn't go there the next day. The various wardrobes, bathrooms and other facilities were also very old, there were no curtains, and it was a bit noisy along the street. My room was actually connected to the restaurant, which was weird. The advantage may be that...

Older hotel that is well situated in downtown Florence with walkable destinations. It is a bit difficult to find, but good place. The rooms were very spacious and the bed comfortable. We really liked the window shades since they blocked the room out entirely. I think there are likely nicer places to stay in town but this was a good, clean solid place.
Fantastic location, a stones throw from duomo and the heart of florence. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast with a good selection. Very comfortable beds and big room on 5th floor. Nice and dark once blinds shut. You may need earplugs if a light sleeper but it was fine for us. Perfect if you're here for the marathon like we were! As start and finish by duomo. We will be back...
It is a very nice hotel with good size, clean rooms, helpful & polite staff and great breakfast. But what makes it uncompetable is its perfect location. They also help for parking place. If I go to firenze again, this is the hotel I will stay again. Grazie mille for your hospitality...
Our first visit to Florence and stayed at Hôtel Pierre. It is a very nice hotel in a perfect location just behind the Duomo, very clean and very friendly and helpful staff, it has all the amenities for a very comfortable stay, will come back, highly recommend it
Hotel was beautiful. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Only issue I have was street noise at night. Hotel is in downtown core and windows in hotel are not soundproof so we could hear patty’s people yelling from restaurants nearby. Kept us up. But hotel itself is lovely . If you are a light sleeper the noise will keep you awake.
Excellent cute boutique hotel with good breakfast in central Florence with great service, clean comfy room , blow dryer , laundry , walking distance from everything restaurants, attractions , shops - We will definitely return in the near future !

The best location you can get in Florence! ♥️ just don’t book the rooms in the innermost part bcos there is no wifi. The best room is 107 for solo travelers like me 😊
It was just so-so, and the price was a bit high.
The bathroom was leaking, and the air conditioning was terrible.
It's like a guesthouse at a domestic train station... extremely basic. The elevator smelled musty, the bathroom was tiny, I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's not very convenient to drag your suitcase to the station either... The blankets weren't even properly covered.
The location is good; the train station and several other major attractions are within a 10-minute walk. The room is small, and the towel rack is too high.
The location is not bad, as it's just 10 minutes from the train station and right in front of the market. There's an elevator and a water purifier, so you can get both cold and hot water.

Great location! While the elevator is a bit tiny 2 people + 2 luggage, it gets you up three stories to checkin. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is simple, but satisfying!
Pretty Nice place, I found quietness. The hotel is very clean, great hospitality, didn’t find any problem connecting to the WiFi. I will recommend you & for sure will come back later. Thanks
Decent hotel with 24/7 front desk located in the 3 Rd floor of the building. There is a small elevator in the building. The staffs are helpful. The breakfast was ok, not great.
The room was clean, the bed was OK and the breakfast was decent. BUT the rooms were not sound isolated at all, from 6 am people were closing the door and it sounded like the door of our room was open. The bathroom was extremely extremely small and made taking a shower a horrible experience. Would not recommend.
Incredible value. I’d pay double for what you get here. The facilities are great, everything clean, comfortable beds and furnishings, and I felt very safe and welcomed. The staff and owners are all very professional hit at the same time warm and friendly. I was grateful to choose this place to rest after many days exploring the local area. I’ll be back 🙏🏻
Decent hotel for a short stay in Florence. Good value for money. Perhaps I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay due to lack of comfort and noisy location. The standard double room is quite small with only a bare minimum of furniture. One of the bedside tables was replaced with a mini fridge. The wardrobe has just two shelves and very few hangers. Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Classy hotel with a great view of florence. The hotel has a stunning garden and terrace, some of the room balconies overlook that space. Amazing experience here. Hosted a wedding and the collaboration we had here with the staff was just beyond our expectations. Absolutely wonderful both the hotel and the restaurant! I booked this hotel for our belated honeymoon trip and my wife and I agree that this is the best place we have stayed at in many years. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool lovely on a hot day. Breakfast excellent and view breathtaking but Romatica rooms a little tired, marked walls, loose toilet seat. Housekeeping inconsistent although bedding and towels spotless sometimes you get tea/coffee/milk and mini bar topped up other days not. Private events run at hotel but no warning to guests so haven't felt able to use the balcony terrace...
Food was nice, but a bit less than we had expected from a place like this. Location is excellent with a great garden and very quiet also. The bill was above average, so that makes you reconsider the quality of the food as well. I would say 3.5 stars.

Everything is fine. The hotel staff are very professional and responsible! And very friendly. The room is also very clean, except that the hair dryer is a little bit retro.
I stayed here on the first day after arriving in Florence. It was very convenient and easy to get around, as it was only a few minutes walk from the airport to the last stop on the T2 line. Hotel location is close to the Florence train station. Also it is easier to walk center of Florence. There isn’t elevator in 5th floor. I was traveling alone in Florence, and unfortunately, on the last day of my planned stay, I sprained my ankle badly on the street. Unsure of what to do, I returned to the hotel to ask for help, at least for some ice to treat the injury. The staff were supportive, even though my stay had ended. Since I was badly hurt and unable to leave Florence, I needed to extend my stay. The staff understood my situation...
Great place, all the amenities I needed (iron, fridge, kettle), friendly staff, short walk to the city centre, comfy bed, I overslept twice coz of it, highly recommended.
Originally our room at a faulty aircon even tho we paid extra for a balcony room. Resolved quickly by staff so we had a good stay. Nearby a really good trattoria and transport is really convenient to most places in firenze
The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was very clean, though exceptionally small. The breakfast was good; the server even came over to ask what kind of coffee I'd prefer. If your budget allows, I'd recommend booking a larger room, as the economy room is truly tiny. It was the smallest room I stayed in during...
The location is quite convenient, just across the road and around the corner from the station. However, the check-in process was quite slow. Rooms are a bit small; they'll offer an upgrade for an extra 30 Euros per night, but even then, the room isn't significantly larger. The room I stayed in was a good size, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was private, but located down the hall.
