Florence, Via Garibaldi, 14 🧭 Map
I have had the opportunity to try several hotel breakfasts during my travels and the one at Palazzo Montebello did not match the hotel’s standard. There wasn’t much variety.
On the other hand, the room was absolutely beautiful, as was the bathroom: very clean, spacious, and well maintained. The hotel itself is lovely, full of charm, and the lounge area is particularly pleasant.
The more delicate point...
I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a very accessible neighborhood, we could walk everywhere easily, and it felt safe even 10-11 pm. Inside, the hotel was clean with a consistently pleasant scent throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was good and the room itself was quiet, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The only thing were that the bathroom didn’t have a vent and...
We enjoyed an exceptional stay at this hotel. The facilities are beautiful, but the professionalism of the staff is what really stands out. Their personalized, detail-oriented, and courteous service made this a hotel I would choose again whenever I return to Florence.
The hotel staff was very helpful and professional and this made our stay at Florence really enjoyable. The rooms were clean, the staff always greeted us with a smile each time we left and returned.
This is a review for a recent July stay at Palazzo Montebello. As someone who frequently travels for work in the US, I was impressed by the professional service at this property, despite it not being part of a major hotel chain and being an independent property. The Front Office team was very professional and welcoming. A huge thank you to both Sara and Darius. Sara was warm, friendly, and went above...
The location is very good. It is close to the city center and convenient to go everywhere. However, you need to book in advance, otherwise it will be too last minute. The number of rooms is limited and it will be expensive.

AC staff welcomed us with in an special way as we were celebrating our honeymoon. They make us feel special during the stay. Rooms and amenities are great!
Thank you AC staff for such an amazing stay!
This is THE place to stay in Florence. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. Rooms are large, comfortable and well designed. Bathroom is large and well stocked. Bar is inviting and the barmen is friendly. While location is 25 minutes (easy) walk to the Duomo and surrounding, some may prefer a short taxi ride- not a big deal considering the value this hotel offers! Excellent restaurants...
While this hotel sits outside of the old town area, it is an easy walk from the hotel into the old town areas. There is the T1 line that runs just a short walk away. The hotel overall is clean and well managed. Rooms are comfortable and provide plenty of room. The bar and restaurant area is great with very good service. The breakfast buffet provides options for anything you are looking to start your...
Good Points:
The room we stayed in was neat and clean, especially with Bathtub in the Bathroom. Breakfast was definitely a pleasant surprise — it offered fresh and good-quality options for a standard continental hotel breakfast. We also tried the in-room dining on the day we arrived, and the food was quite good, especially the lasagna (though I forgot to take a photo!). The catering service was friendly...
The location is a bit too far from the center of the scenic area
This AC hotel is a very good stay I'd generally recommend.
The staff is very welcoming and helpful. From the front desk to the bar and cleaning staff.
The location is very good if you want to walk a little more. I don't see why others complain about being far from the city center, it adds a half kilometer but comes with convenience of parking and is more quiet.
My biggest and only complaint is the...

Hotel Lungarno
Florence, Borgo San Jacopo 14 🧭 Map
The most fantastic "doormen" in the world!! There's nothing they can't or won't do for you... In addition to their expertise, lovely rooms, excellent location, perfect service.
The hotel has the best taste! Simple yet elegant; classic yet modernised! The service has beaten my expectations which usually is very high. If the breakfast and hair dryer could be improved, it will be perfect!
Great location, beautiful rooms, exceptional service. We had an amazing stay during our time in Florence.
This is Florentine service at its best. I was there with friends to celebrate a special day and the staff at the Lungarno were brilliant. From check-in to checkout, it was effortless luxury supported by smiling, involved staff who made certain that our stay was a good one.
There were many, but Zach and Andrea were exceptional.
This hotel was spectacular, and the owner put a lot of work into makeing it unique it's some of a kind... (you have to visit it, to see what I mean by that! ) The room that we had was only slightly lacking, not the best views and didn't offer a hot water or coffee maker. I would recommend it all the same though, to anyone. The location is fabulous!
A treat to sit and watch the Arno over a glass or three. Very knowledgeable sommelier, happy to assist but not pretentious.

Florence, Via Lungarno Colombo 22A, 22A 6 5 🧭 Map
It's very good. The room is big and well decorated. The location is not very central. But Florence is so small. It takes only 10 minutes by taxi to reach major attractions. Compared with other five-star hotels that cost 6,000 yuan, it is really good.
Wonderful hotel, top-level services, very kind and helpful staff ready to fulfill every possible request and information. Very spacious, very clean and welcoming rooms. Amazing restaurant and breakfast service. The reception service is top, everyone is very good, especially Mr. Paolo, always very attentive to making guests feel at home. COMPLIMENTS
I had the pleasure of staying for a work conference at the Columbus.. Paolo, Massimo, Michela, Alessandro, Domenico, Marco, Carolina and all the staff from the caretaker to the cleaning company are the 5 stars and more of this HOTEL! Maximum welcome, smiles, kindness, pampered and assisted like never before! Compliments to the owner who surrounded himself with qualified and professional staff!
Excellent apartments, very attentive attendants, good room service and varied breakfast. Has a nice view, although not facing the principal part of the city. The rooms are spaced and have a private bathroom. Real bathroom, With bath. A little expensive though, but royally worth it.
The hotel was decent. The staff was polite and somewhat friendly. The breakfast included was very good and had several variaties to choose from. Overall a nice place to stay for a few days in florence.
The room was clean and comfortable. There is free WiFi and it is just down the street from tons of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful, big rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
I would definitely recommend this place. Bus stops, restaurants and the main train station are walking distance from the hotel.
Very much enjoyed our stay at this NH Hotel. Staff was welcoming and very responsive. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast options were healthy and tasty. The hotel location was very convenient. Great value for the money.
The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is really great! It is in a really great location. The hotel is beautiful until you get into your room. I don’t know if they are trying to upgrade the rooms but they should. The room is really old and run down. We had to wear our flip flops since the floor was so dustly. The bathroom was really nice, which seems to be common for all of Italy’s hotels is the tub...
Booked a superior room and it was lovely and spacious. The decor was fine and always very clean. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, even pulling together a little breakfast for us when we missed the slot. The location was a little out the way, but still only a 15 minute walk to the centre, although it feels a little longer in the heat! Overall completely happy with our stay, and would...
The maintanence is bad, at reception obtuse girls.
Breakfast is good, rooms are old but cozy.
Classy and elegant comfortably located at a walking distance from the heart of the city of Florence. Very practical for those who need a touch and go for an embassy appointment.
The staff is courteous and helpful.
The hotel doesn't have a proper business centre, but the reception can help with information and printing needs.
Only struggle finding a parking spot, especially if you arrive with the car...

Beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location nearby everything you need, very attentive staff. Only issue was when the man who brought our luggage that was stored with them he dropped it hard on the floor so could’ve damaged fragile stuff inside the bags. But everyone was kind and helpful. Beautiful view from the room, mainly in the toilet room with the view to the Duomo.
Friendly and supporting staff, good quality rooms, nice view, good location to city centre. The only issue was the noise in the morning due to construction. Other than that, was a nice experience.
What a perfect experience for the first time in Italy !
Nestled in the heart of Florence, its proximity to all the wonders allows you to explore with just your feet, losing yourself in a maze of alleys, each one as beautiful as the next.
The welcome was excellent, we never encountered any difficulties, from the beginning to the end of our stay.
The reception staff, as well as the Rooftop staff, were...
The hotel rooms and facilities were a bit dated, and the cleanliness was only average. Breakfast was pretty standard, and the Wi-Fi signal was quite poor. On the positive side, the front desk service was excellent, and the 6th-floor terrace bar offered fantastic views.
Everything was absolutely perfect! 👍 It's the closest option to the train station, and I would definitely choose it again for my next trip to Florence. It was surprisingly quiet – much quieter than I expected given its proximity to the station.
Extremely close to the train station, the surrounding area is also quite lively, and with police patrolling day and night, it feels very safe. There's a rooftop terrace that offers beautiful nighttime views of the iconic dome. The only drawback is that the facilities are quite outdated.

The hotel is excellent from all perspectives — clean, tidy, and well maintained. It offers all the necessary services for solo travellers, and the single room was remarkably spacious. The staff members were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is also ideal, situated close to Santa Maria Novella and the Arno River. I highly recommend this hotel.
This is my second stay here. With such lovely amenities, great services, and excellent location it was a no brainer to stay here again. We loved everything!; I highly recommend (Hotel Executive )for its cozy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, quiet atmosphere and customer service.
The location and environment are very good
Stayed at Hotel Executive Florence in early July with my family of 4, and stayed in the suite. Absolutely loved the hotel. Everything about it was top tier, and made our stay in Florence all the more enjoyable. Large spacious rooms with everything we needed, clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast, and wonderfully kind staff. Couldn’t have had a better stay! Would highly recommend.
Take a look...
The room was clean but a little noisy (we heard some noise in the morning coming from the breakfast area). The hotel was nice. The staff was very nice. But honestly, the price was crazy for such a hotel.
We loved our stay at Hotel Executive! Great location and wonderful family feel. The highlight for us was our private wine tasting with Ricardo! Should our travels bring us back to Florence we would absolutely stay here again - thank you!

Beautiful hotel and great location
Excellent location, unique design style, simple and stylish, very good service. The view from the rooftop terrace restaurant is amazing! The breakfast is rich and delicious, in short, highly recommended. Chocolates were also given on Easter🥰
Very nice hotel, fantastic location just a stone's throw from the cathedral. Very well-kept structure and service, although I personally didn't consider escorting to the room essential. Welcome drink much appreciated, excellent breakfast, kind and welcoming staff.
The first impression when entering the room is that the room has good lighting and a sense of design, which makes people feel comfortable. The room service can be improved. I cannot say enough good things about my recent stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond with their warmth, courtesy, and attention to detail. Every interaction felt genuine and kind—it’s rare to feel so truly welcomed while traveling.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in June of 2025. We wanted to stay close to the airport to sleep off the jet lag before heading to Chianti for the week. The rooms are elegant and practical, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet is off the charts! This was supposed to be a quick pit stop on our vacation, but it will now be a treasured memory. Thanks to everyone...
Excellent hotel. Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. Our flight was going to get in late, and my wife and I wanted to be ready for the next day. Extra credit to the staff for helping me quickly track down the cab company who drove us to our next destination. I left my glasses...
My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to Tuscany. Let me just say that the experience was incredible. But our rating of the hotel is overwhelmingly the result of the excellent treatment by the staff...
Very nice and clean hotel with a helpful reception and very accommodating check out options. I missed breakfast so can’t say much about it but my mates enjoyed it. High note the rooms were nice and warm which was great given the freezing wet weather outside.
Arrived at Florence hotel at 11:30 on November 6th, stayed 1 night, and returned home 1 night on November 25th
I've been to many hotels, but I didn't want to go anywhere else.

A former mill renovated with taste and class.
The reception staff are very professional and friendly, and the rooms, all interiors, and outdoor spaces are very clean. The terrace overlooks the Arno, and dining while admiring the beautiful sunsets over the water is magical.
A few drawbacks, however:
- The TGV train passes nearby, and the many cars passing by can be disturbing during meals on the terrace...
Exelent Room and Breakfast buffet offered even not free. Exelent sunsetting and riverview.
The environment and services are good
The advantages and disadvantages of the living experience are discussed below:
1. The hotel is far from the hustle and bustle and is relatively quiet, which means that it is more troublesome to go to the city center. There will be 3 shuttle buses in the morning and 3 in the afternoon to the city entrance. Of course, there will be 3 return trips in the afternoon (the hotel charges €2.50/trip).

stayed for 3 nights! we loved florence and enjoyed our 20-30 min walk back to the hotel. it’s 10- 15 walk to the station. neighborhood is not too crowded which is nice. the room was also big with kitchen, living room and bedroom. recommended!
Convenience location, friendly and helpful Staff.
The apartment was clean, but then kitchenware facilities were old.
The room is big, the facilities are OK, the service attitude is very good, they help to book a taxi, provide travel information, etc. The hotel is more than 20 minutes' walk from the railway station and a little far from the city center. It takes more than 30 minutes to walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, about 1.2 kilometers; the old bridge is even farther... The overall cost performance is still acceptable
Very good, highly recommended. The location is very good, about ten minutes walk from the train station. The room is two rooms, very private and quiet
The overall environment is clean and tidy, and there are many kitchen utensils available, which is very convenient!

The location is very convenient, walking to various attractions, the hotel rooms are hygienic and good, breakfast is also many choices, you can order what you want to eat.

Hotel La Gemma was beautiful. Very convenient location and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
The room is small. Although there is a window, it is closed because it is a bit noisy facing the street. The room is stuffy and obviously much more humid than hotels in Milan and Rome. When checking in, they offered a welcome drink but it was charged. It was a bit strange to wait for a long time in the lounge. The overall hygiene is OK. The biggest feeling is that it is small, stuffy and humid.
A beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence.
The rooms are small , is not quite a luxury 5 stars hotel. But location is the best.

But when we talk about Italian hotels it’s actually one of the better ones I did stay in Italy and I did stay in many of them. Rooms are nice, clean, staff is always very nice and even the breakfast is nice compared to other Italian hotels. Overall it’s an old Italian hotel which...
Hotel has its own parking lots a plus but it is not very close to public transport approx 10-15 min and approx 20-30 min by bus to be at the historic site of Florence
The hotel is quiet
Convenient parking, clean room
The room is OK, the elevator is old, the breakfast is poor. The only advantage is that there is a private parking lot, which is large enough and free. The other hardware facilities are really not suitable for a star hotel, they are too old.
The accommodation is quite convenient. It's close to the airport and I have an early flight, so it's more convenient to rush there.

Florence, Via Alfonso Lamarmora 28 🧭 Map
Good 4 star hotel, located near the historic center of Florence in the San Marco area, well connected to the station and airport; small but comfortable rooms, very courteous reception staff, varied and abundant breakfast. Excellent value for money
Need transportation to those landmarks.
It feels good, overall it is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is quite rich. But the hotel elevator is very small, it feels very old, the hotel location is not very good, there are no restaurants around, and it is far from the bus station
The room is four meters high. The corridor is relatively small and the layout is warm. The breakfast is very rich. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Cathedral of Flowers. It is very quiet and the surrounding area is relatively quiet.
The pluses are room was clean, concierge was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast spread was good.
Very kind staff.
Very clean and well served room.
Abundant, varied and quality breakfast
