The location is very good. It is close to the city center and convenient to go everywhere. However, you need to book in advance, otherwise it will be too last minute. The number of rooms is limited and it will be expensive.

This is Florentine service at its best. I was there with friends to celebrate a special day and the staff at the Lungarno were brilliant. From check-in to checkout, it was effortless luxury supported by smiling, involved staff who made certain that our stay was a good one. There were many, but Zach and Andrea were exceptional.

This hotel was spectacular, and the owner put a lot of work into makeing it unique it's some of a kind... (you have to visit it, to see what I mean by that! ) The room that we had was only slightly lacking, not the best views and didn't offer a hot water or coffee maker. Excellent apartments, very attentive attendants, good room service and varied breakfast. Has a nice view, although not facing the principal part of the city. The rooms are spaced and have a private bathroom. Real bathroom, With bath. A little expensive though, but royally worth it.

The hotel rooms and facilities were a bit dated, and the cleanliness was only average. Breakfast was pretty standard, and the Wi-Fi signal was quite poor. On the positive side, the front desk service was excellent, and the 6th-floor terrace bar offered fantastic views.

Extremely close to the train station, the surrounding area is also quite lively, and with police patrolling day and night, it feels very safe. There's a rooftop terrace that offers beautiful nighttime views of the iconic dome. The only drawback is that the facilities are quite outdated.

The room is big, the facilities are OK, the service attitude is very good, they help to book a taxi, provide travel information, etc. The hotel is more than 20 minutes' walk from the railway station and a little far from the city center. In the heart of Florence Town, it feels like you’re on a European movie set!

The location is very good, right outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

The hotel was well positioned outside the hustle and bustle of central Florence. We were travelling by train, so having the tram stop just across the road was very convenient. The room was a good size, the pillows wonderful and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

This hotel is perfect for getting to airport - only 12 minutes on the tramline that heads into the city. We booked directly, and everything from booking to checkout was perfect. We booked this off Priceline. The hotel is close to the train terminal and very quiet. Porter took our bags and showed us to our room in a beautiful annex. High quality furnishings and architecture. The web site doesn’t do it justice. Only stayed one night but would book for a return visit.

Hotel La Gemma was beautiful. Very convenient location and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The room is small. Although there is a window, it is closed because it is a bit noisy facing the street. The room is stuffy and obviously much more humid than hotels in Milan and Rome. When checking in, they offered a welcome drink but it was charged. It was a bit strange to wait for a long time in the lounge. The overall hygiene is OK. The biggest feeling is that it is small, stuffy and humid.

The La Gemma is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Staff was very helpful & gave us a nice upgrade when we checked in for our second stay there. They also put a bottle of chilled champagne in our room to celebrate my birthday. Also enjoyed the lovely spa & rooftop outdoor lounge area with amazing views of the city. Will definitely stay there again.

A beautiful luxury hotel that has been open for less than two years. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of three menus. The refrigerator and minibar are free, and water is provided for the number of guests every day. The location is very central, so it is convenient.

Comfortable bed in a clean, quiet room, in a wonderful location! Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is helpful in every way. Had a really great stay here last week in Florence! The location is so nice right by the bridge with all the shopping and eats. Convenient parking, clean room

The room is OK, the elevator is old, the breakfast is poor. The only advantage is that there is a private parking lot, which is large enough and free. The other hardware facilities are really not suitable for a star hotel, they are too old.

The accommodation is quite convenient. It's close to the airport and I have an early flight, so it's more convenient to rush there.

Good 4 star hotel, located near the historic center of Florence in the San Marco area, well connected to the station and airport; small but comfortable rooms, very courteous reception staff, varied and abundant breakfast. Excellent value for money

It feels good, overall it is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is quite rich. But the hotel elevator is very small, it feels very old, the hotel location is not very good, there are no restaurants around, and it is far from the bus station

The room is four meters high. The corridor is relatively small and the layout is warm. The breakfast is very rich. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Cathedral of Flowers. It is very quiet and the surrounding area is relatively quiet.
