The boss is very nice and the location is very good, very close to the main attractions. The 24-hour front desk is worth praising and the breakfast is also good.
The drain in the bathroom is a bit clogged. The sound insulation is average. The hygiene is OK.
Italian local hotel, average accommodation, ok breakfast
Nice option for a one night stand. Decent room, older equipment but clean. Delicious breakfast.
You need to wait couple of minutes if you want to shower with hot water.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Excellent atention . Very clean. Good breakfast . Excellent reception.

Very good hotel - the room, the halls and the breakfast space are all very clean and proper. The staff is very kind, the breakfast offers a good choice, and the hotel is really very well located (10 mn from Maria Novella Station, 35 mn from the airport with the tramway, and a few minutes from almost all places of the historical center).
litl small rooms, breakfast was very simple and i don't understand why I must left roomkey on reception every time when go outside.
Hotel was not so Bad but can be litl more for this price
We loved our stay at Hotel Martelli! The day Receptionist was especially welcoming and helpful. There were many lovely touches, including the cold lime water and biscuits in the foyer to a lovely breakfast and a place to leave our bags (and ourselves!) before check in and out. Our room was delightful and everything worked well and was clean. It's perfectly located between the train station and major...
Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
On the other hand, there's no air conditioning, and the only option is to sleep with the windows open, exposing yourself to noise and mosquitoes.
The photos show a pool, which wasn't real.
The service was very good, but the restaurant staff weren't friendly. I can say it was a comfortable stay.
Very charming hotel, very convenient to go anywhere, worth recommending

Hotel Scoti was a simply wonderful place to stay, giving you the feeling of Florence the moment you walk into the common area and see the large fresco adorning the ceiling.
Doreen the host was incredible in explaining the quirks of the 500 year old building from operating the locks that stick a little bit, to the ~100 year old elevator. It was all a really great experience stacked with charm.
In terms...
Great atmosphere, a lot of history & location for your money. Very basic, but very interesting, friendly, central and atmospheric. An absolute find, at the heart of Florence, right next to all the big designer stores. A very " Room with a view" pensione !
I was impressed with the building. The hotel is at good location.
Great place. I lived there when I first moved to Florence many years ago for a couple of months. Wonderful friendly owners and beautiful florentine building.
Doreen, the host, was very friendly and helpful for planning our days and scheduling dinner reservations for us. Was always around if we needed help with anything. Highly recommend
A hotel with a lot of heart. It is a simple place, with nice rooms, spacious beautiful communal areas. Original wall paintings, large windows and cozy rooms. 24 hour access with your own keys, and an elevator. The owners are really nice and helpful. We had some health issues and the owners helped us with a lot of stuff, and we are eternally grateful. Is this the nicest looking, most exquisite hotel...

Ostello Bello Firenze
Florence, Via Faenza 56 🧭 Map
Generally good, spacious rooms, nice public terrace and kitchen, although the A/C was poor and I found the staff pretty strict and inflexible regarding some requests.
Good option for short stay in a very convenient location - 5 minutes from train station and close to the city center and all sightseeings
Is a bit hard to find , but the people are nice and the pub downstairs is not expensive.
The location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and most attractions are within easy walking distance. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm room, which was quite spacious and had two bathrooms.
Great location and nice terrace, loved it, definitely will choose this next time as well
The hostel is conveniently located (Florence isn't that big anyway). The room was very spacious, and I really enjoyed the vibe of guests from all over the world mingling and conversing.

The location is the biggest highlight. It is only a few steps away from the Central Market and Santa Maria del Fiore. It is 20 meters away from the long-lined Zaza steakhouse. There is a Chinese supermarket on the left and a Sichuan restaurant on the right.
We walked from here to a farther place. It took 15 minutes to the Uffizi Gallery and half an hour to Piazzale Michelangelo and the Rose Garden...
A very retro and historic hotel with sculptures inside, reflecting the artistic atmosphere. It is a little far from the train station, about 15 minutes walk, and it is a bit difficult to pull the suitcase. The decoration style is very retro, clean and tidy. The triple room is on two floors, and the space for luggage is a bit small. The service is very good, teaching us how to use the elevator, and...
The room is clean and tidy. The location is very convenient. It takes only three to five minutes to walk to the Duomo. The decoration style of the house is very European.
Although I haven't checked out yet, I can't wait to review it. It's in the old town, a few steps away is a very popular restaurant, and the market is also nearby. Most attractions are within 10-15 minutes' walk. Because the room was not ready when we arrived in the morning, we went out to play, and when we came back, we were surprised to find that the luggage was already in the room. I don't know about...
An old-fashioned hotel. Because it is an old house, the flush toilet is also old-fashioned, but it has a unique flavor. The breakfast is rich, but not for Chinese taste.
We had totally satisfied. I definitely recommend.

The rooms were quiet and clean. Our room had a sewage smell that was concentrated at night and in the mornings! The bathroom floor drain would back up and let water in.
The king bed was 2 twin beds with a large mattress on top. They spread apart at night. The water tasted funny. Breakfast was OK except for the weiners tasted funny. The location was somewhat remote.
Residential area 10 minutes away from center. Not 4 star hotel. It is 3 star only. Next to the USA consulate. Bathroom was old and must be renovated. Room was also old and must be renovated. Florence is nice. Nightlife is quiet, I heard some voices during nighttime might be incidentally. Breakfast is a imitation of real breakfast. Just go to the nearest supermarket and buy what you need. My single room in de rose hotel was really nice for me as a traveller. This hotel was one of the best things I chose in Florence. As far as you see the photos I took, the breakfast is just awesome. Very good hotel, great hosts knowing everything about Florence. Doing everything to make your stay a pleasant one
Good option for a few days, but maybe not much comfortable for a long stay. Breakfast is fair. Location is a bit far, but you can get to the best places by foot if you like to walk.
Warm welcome, very good service.

A very interesting family hotel. The rooms face the river view. The service is super good above and beyond. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is very comfortable to stay!
The location is quite good. Free upgrade to the top floor river view room. Traditional Italian retro decoration style. The room is not big but very clean. The breakfast is simple and delicious. The location is very good. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
Nice breakfast, nice garden and great parking.
Stayed for two nights and we had a great experience with the hotel, the staff, and the overall atmosphere.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and garden - recommend visiting the rooftop which has an amazing view and is a bit of a hidden gem.
Close to everything.
Breakfast was great and the staff really cared about everyone’s experience.
Beautiful hotel, perfect location with both a gorgeous rooftop terrace view and a quiet garden patio. The staff is attentive and the place is sparkling clean with an absolutely breathtaking decor!

Whenever I return to Bellosguardo I am always startled at the sheer majestic beauty of this place.. Simply divine and possibly our best holiday stay ever. A majestic and historic villa overlooking Florence has with tender love and care by the owners/operators been turned into the optimal retreat for exploring the city or just lounging in the lush gardens by the pool. Beautiful hotel with spectacular views. You’re stepping into history, it’s more than a hotel it’s part of Florence’s fabulous architecture, with frescos and statues dating back generations. Myself and my teenage nephew enjoyed a few days in beautiful Florence and we stayed at this lovely hotel for our stay. The staff were friendly and answered many questions without us feeling we were an annoyance, the breakfast...
A beautiful comfortable hotel with excellent service. Staff friendly and polite. Safe parking for our classic car. Easy walking to the favourite sites in Florence. We were only there one night 1st May 2019 but memorable. Great place to stay.
We stayed three nights and the hotel has good and not so good points. The negative points are as follows. First, it is very noisy as you can hear every movement of other guest and other guest shared the same comment with us. Second, they do not change your towels everyday unless you ask. Third, our hair dryer would only run for two minutes and then would stop for 5 minutes. The positive points...
Centrally located which makes visiting the city easy. The staff was fantastic! They suggested places to eat that were more local than tourist which was nice. They always greeted you with a smile and spoke English really well. The room I stayed in was huge, so was the bathroom. Biggest draw back was that everyone had to walk past my room so you heard lots of noise at night.
Fantastic looking hotel, staff were all very helpful

Nothing special but good value for your money
This hotel is really great. I chose the annex building, which has a great environment and atmosphere. The breakfast was also very rich, the internet was stable, and the room was clean. It is very close to the core attractions. You can see the Cathedral of Santa Maria delle Grazie from the window, the Accademia Gallery is just around the corner, and the Uffizi and Pitti Palace are a 15-minute walk away

Booked 2 nights here just for the location. Hard to beat! Room was good enough but no counter space in recently renovated bathroom. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Very friendly staff.
The whole leaving your key thing is weird and doesn’t make sense because they give you another key to get in the building after hours. Why not just let us keep both??
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got us checked in early. The room was nice and the bed was wonderful. Easy walking distance to pretty much anywhere you want. The breakfast was above average. Would stay there again.
The location of this hotel is very convenient. The staffs are very kindly and helpful. Will recommend to my friends.
Very near to bell tower , around the hotel have shops for shopping .
Fantastic location right in the city center, everything is within walking distance. All the sights, museums and lots of cafes and restaurants right in the vicinity. The room was okay. We had to pay an extra of €30 for two nights for our baby's cot, which I think is outrageous. Not happy about that.
We stayed here a week ago with my mom , dad and family friend. The staff was so accommodating and very nice . Right in the middle of Florence great spot to see the sights and get great food. Very nice stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A/C doesn't seem to work the best but consistent for Italy. Staff were vet accommodating.
The hotel is not far from Florence dome. The room is quite small but nice. The only drawback are the slim walls so you can hear people talking in the other rooms

The hotel has a great sense of space and is very sunny and comfortable. Green trees, sunshine and high ceiling design make the room full of layering. The soft beige and coffee-colored lighting is warm and pleasant. The toilet is also very big. The TV is in the perfect spot and everything is just right. The breakfast was also very rich. The keys have a golf ball design which is very cute.
I often sit here every time I come. It's better to have a parking lot behind.
Clean room with daily room service but they are small rooms and the facilities are limited; I was in Florence on a 6 night stay and there was a very small fridge and aircon in the ensuite room only. No kettle, iron or other facilities which would have made the room more comfortable. There is no bar for an evening aperitif etc. Bathrooms seemed newly renovated in the room
and were spacious in comparison...
Room is okay at best. Bed is comfortable. AC doesn't work that well, my room was hot all night and the AC is noisy. Kinda pricy for a room with poor AC.
The key they give you is ridiculous. A large metal handle attached to a golf ball. It's large and heavy, the last thing you want to carry around with you all day as you're out exploring.
Breakfast was okay, coffee is good.

The hotel is located half an hour's walk from the train station, a little less to Santa Maria del Fiore. Right next to the hotel there is a bus stop, from where a bus goes directly to the train station (relevant if you have a lot of luggage with you, the narrow streets of Florence are not conducive to walking with luggage). My room was large, spacious, beautiful. Breakfast can be rated at 7.5/10. I...
I stay at this hotel almost every time I bring a group to Florence for business. The price is quite reasonable. The rooms are a bit dated, but I guess that adds to the character of the building. But the people outside the hotel are very polite...
Enjoyed my stay! However, I recommend reaching out to the hotel before arriving to ask for rooms not on the ground floor as it might be noisy since 5 close to the lobby. Luckily, I got a quit room on the 1st floor, so I enjoyed a pleasant stay 🙏
