Milan, Viale Certosa 108 🧭 Map
Immaculately clean inside although the outside looks a bit dated, which may put some off.
It's lovely and.really good value. We really likes it.
It's a way out from the centre but the 14 tram stops right outside. There's a supermarket just around the corner and a park about half a mile away.
Hotel Rafaello, Milan – ★★★★★
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Rafaello! The rooms were very clean , which made us (me and my daughter) feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request – their warm hospitality really stood out.
The location is convenient, with easy access to Milan’s city centre thanks to tram...
Very friendly staff . Very clean place .
The location of the Hotel is great, it was easy to reach by public transport. There is also a small shop just 5 minutes away. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly.
Overall, it’s a pretty nice hotel. The rooms are very nice and the bathrooms have a lot of room. The breakfast is large and pretty good… the bacon is very salty though. There’s free water in the lobby which is very refreshing and tasty! The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because they do have laundry, however it’s not like American Hotel Service… instead it’s like $3 a sock, $5 a shirt, $3 per shorts...
Room is fine, clean, with a desk, a separate full bathroom, a small window. Only the room space is limited. And there is no hot water kettle, which is important for Asian travellers. I would like to rate as 4.5 stars.

What a lovely hotel and very friendly. It is nicely designed and has an upmarket feel just off the main shopping street. Mary (I think her name was that) on reception was truly delightful. She was friendly, professional and kind. These are qualities you don't always get with hotel reception staff. It makes a big difference to your stay, especially in a small hotel. The room was fine & comfy but...
Had a great stay at Demidoff Hotel. Always welcoming staff, very helpfull and always in a good mood.
They location is just perfect. Close to central station, and even better 50 meters from Lima metro station.
Clean and nice hotel. Perfect english.
And at last, i forgot my AirPods in the room. They was very helpfull with wrapping them perfectly so i could have them picked up by a courier to bring...
Can you believe there are cockroaches in the bed? The dirtiest hotel, Milan has poor security and the hotel hygiene is disgusting. The tax refund also deducts money from those Italian fans. . This experience is great, don't go if you don't have anything else
After a nightmare morning, I was warmly welcomed at the hotel by a very helpful and friendly receptionist, who recommended a nearby sandwich store (which was tasty) while I waited for check in to open up. Room itself was basic, but clean. Only quibble was A/C didnt work too well.
Fine location with a 15 minute walk to Milan Centrale and about 25 minutes to the Duomo plaza. Plenty of eateries and shopping...
Together with my friend we were looking to extend out stay in Milano, as the hotel where we were initially staying was full we decided to look for an alternative to spend an extra night.
Being just couple of minutes away we decided to try Demidoff hotel.
We searched on BookingDotcom to check the rates however knowing that the hotel has to pay fees, we thought we'll approach them first to see if they...
The hotel has good potential but I was assigned a different room than the one in the reservation as they say that they don't work with TRIP.com.
Too bad the rating could have been better.

Location is good, but the room is too old.
I didn't realize the swimming pool is not free.you must pay 12 euro per day.
A decent hotel with a good breakfast buffet in the morning , worth taking a spin - a little further from central milan but easily accessible
Nice Place, Clean Room, Good breakfast, Good location but little bit far from center. Free parking outside hotel.
The room is clean and large, with enough chairs and desks for two people. Location is good that there is a bus which stops in front of the hotel with just around 20 minutes travel distance from the city centre. Staff are nice and helpful.
The hotel was overall good. The hotel employees very friendly and helpful. The room was great. Eventhough the hotel's location was not near to a Metro station, but very easy to get bus to Metro stations nearby because there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Cleanliness was top notch. The hotel was generally okay, and the rooms were generally clean and tidy. However, there were two significant shortcomings: room service was unavailable at night, and the breakfast was average, with limited options, which significantly reduced the experience.
I had an overall lovely stay. The location is absolutely ideal, central, vibrant, and very convenient for getting around. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how safe and welcoming the environment felt. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout my visit, which made a big difference.
However, I must highlight that construction work was taking place during my stay. Unfortunately...
I booked the Canada Hotel on short notice, but upon arrival, I found it excellent. It's clean and conveniently located, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is only 100 meters away, and the cathedral is about a ten-minute walk. Getting around is very convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The only downside is the small shower, so larger guests...

The room was large and everything seemed OK at first glance. Then it turned out that the rooms were so thin that you could hear a vibrating cell phone somewhere in the other room. The windows were not soundproof and I could hear the tram half the night. In addition, you couldn't darken the room. But that only became clear when we wanted to leave the room - there are small switches in the window frames...

Hygiene needs some serious efforts
The location is far from the real Milan
Breakfast I'd very limited but delicious
Surprisingly modern, clean, well equipped hotel. Really no other choice if your takes you to Ospedale San Raffaele.
Simple rooms but hospital-level standards of cleanliness! Probably the cleanest room I have ever visited! Very quiet too, could have heard a pin drop. Breakfast excellent for veggies and vegans (soy and oat milk available). Staff friendly and professional.
Very clean hotel, well located if you need to go to the San Raffaele hospital located opposite, 5 minutes walk away. Courteous staff, cozy, comfortable and clean room. I didn't try the restaurant, nor the breakfast.
The hotel was great !! Rooms and everywhere around hotel inside and outside was perfect and very clean . The staff was very friendly. Breakfast very delicious.. Hostpital san raffaele very close do not need it a car to go there. Higly recommended!!

It was very pleasant to stay here.
The staff's service and the cleanliness of the rooms were all excellent! I would like to stay here again.
It’s my first time in Milan, and I really recommend this hotel for its cost-effectiveness.
First of all, the hotel is very new and in the city center. Almost all attractions can be reached on foot or by public transportation in 10 minutes.

Everything is good except that the rooms have no air conditioner. Summer is hot in Geneva. With a fan, it's okay but AC is preferred. Other than that everything is good.
A great stay overall, but somewhat overpriced.
The lobby area, elevators and other parts of the hotel reveal the hotel's old age, however the rooms a newly renovates, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is standard. Weirdly enough, there is no do-it-yourself coffee/tea option – these must be ordered from the staff.
Very impressed with the service and friendliness of staff. We are from USA and they helped us with all our questions
Very good location and nice spacious room. Highly recommend.
The hotel lobby is quite grand, but a little different from the rooms. The rooms and the hotel are actually quite old, with classic colors and styles. The keys used are traditional keys with big key chains.
Except for the old furniture, the rooms are actually nice.
The breakfast is average, the style and taste are average.

Good location and friendly staff at the reception, nice park across the street. But I was pretty shocked by how small the twin bed room was and the AC didn’t work properly. Unfortunately the breakfast was awful. Lots of options but the quality of the food was really bad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, appreciating the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the delightful restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet. Everything was truly amazing. The only area that could benefit from some attention is the corridors, which appear not to have been renovated yet. Additionally, the cleaning products used in the room had a strong, unpleasant odor...
no complimentary water provided in room so we used the kettle to boil but both the cups and kettle in room were very dirty, we washed twice still very oily
staff was nice and the amenities were good!
The hotel is centrally located, and amenities are great. The bed was comfortable and the access by metro easy. On a Saturday night the room on the first floor was very noisy until midnight due to a bar in the area.
It's a very old hotel, but the facilities are good. Because the breakfast is delicious and the overall room rate is lower than the surrounding areas, I stayed here twice in Milan. Opposite the hotel is a large park, which is very beautiful in spring. It's OK to walk to the city center to buy things. The surrounding sushi restaurants and ice cream shops are also delicious.

The hotel is nice and easy to find. It was close to nice restaurants and cafes. Simple walk or metro to shopping and Duomo. The temps were high during the visit but the AC kept my room very cool.
Rather expensive of what is described
Small single room with expensive rate.
Good value for the price. Simple and small and clean. I would stay here again
The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative feedback I have is that there is a very loud trolley that runs in front of the hotel, almost 24 hours a day. We barely slept the first night. I asked to switch to a room at the back of the hotel, which was perfect.
Hotel is well enough located and has good restaurants nearby.
Our stay at Hotel Roxy was exactly what we needed it to be. Comfortable, clean and in a good position to get into central city. Would definitely stay here again. Also, they stamp your car parking ticket to get a reduced rate. Very good.

The hotel is not worth the price you pay for it in my opinion. Located close to a Tram stop.
Overpriced. The third star is only for the friendly staff of the cafeteria and the excellent coffee. The room itself was decent but not value for money at all.
