Golden Tulip Piram Mini-hotel

Has to be one of the worst hotels that I have stayed in, very expensive, poor quality and not clean. For a hotel this size, they couldn’t manage to have a clothes iron that wasn’t broken. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere

The hotel rooms are extremely dated, floors felt sticky, sheets are itchy, pillows flat as and hard as a rock. Definitely need a major renovation. Also really loud outside and no ac until mid spring so get eaten by mosquitos all night or die of heat. Everyone is nice though.

This is not a 4 star hotel. A clean one yes. Amazing location with walking distance to so many places and good restaurants. But the rooms and families are sub par.
Clear one. But no where near 5 starS

Our experience at this hotel was far from what one would expect from a 4-star establishment. The staff lacked professionalism, and the overall service fell short of the promised standard.

To start, we were initially given the wrong room, which seemed to be under maintenance, as there was a set of stairs left in the room. We asked the staff for basic amenities like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers, which were missing. Instead of providing them, they informed us that the room was incorrect and that we would need to move all our luggage to another room.

The new room also lacked the same essentials. When we asked again, the staff first brought us water instead of the requested items. After further clarification, they finally provided toothbrushes and toothpaste but still no slippers. Despite staying for four nights, we were left without slippers and had to walk barefoot around the room and bathroom. When we raised this with the staff, their response was dismissive, saying, "Yes, sorry, but you have to go barefoot because we don’t have slippers."

The room itself was uncomfortable and poorly ventilated. The temperature could not be controlled from the room, so every time we needed an adjustment, we had to call the reception. There was no air circulation, forcing us to keep the balcony door open just to get some fresh air.

I don’t know who is responsible for awarding these stars to hotels, but I’m sure it was done a long time ago or by mistake. Personally, I would give this hotel 2 stars instead of 4, with 1 star solely for its convenient location.
