Staff was noy very friendly, the location isn't the best place for lady we stayed there for 2 nights then moved to the central part which was better and felt safer as i was staying with my family. It wasnt bad but defined not 4 stars

The staff is very kind and helpful, the location is not the best in terms of aesthetics, but very convenient because there are public transport stops opposite the entrance, I recommend it for a holiday in Rome, very satisfied

We were supposed to sleep somewhere else, but then our hotel turned out to be closed. At hotel latinum they helped us right away. We got a lovely room that was very clean and well maintained. When we came for breakfast the next morning there was a lovely woman who came to make coffee and tea and offered us a toasted sandwich. I recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely come back here!

Just stayed here and had mixed feelings. The rooms were nice, but finding the place was a bit tricky. Once inside, the rooms were okay, but the dark decor made them feel a bit dingy. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, which was a plus. They helped us with the planning of where to visit and how to reach there. Now, the breakfast was a letdown – hardly any options, just some bread, boiled eggs, and fruit. Plus, there's limited seating, so you have to book your slot in advance. Overall, if you're okay with a so-so room and a subpar breakfast, it's fine for a short stay. But don't expect anything too fancy.

Avoid this hotel! It’s fraud since they accept the booking by phone but at the arrival they looking like have lost your booking so they try to dispatch you in another of their hotels for the same cost but with a worse quality, bad way to act. Absolutely the worst experience with a hotel. They ruined my vacation in Rome planned with accuracy. Next time I’ll be more accurate avoiding them.

Rooms are very small, dark and old. Very bad sound isolation. Very noisy throughout the night.
Service is poor. The breakfast has limited options and its not fresh and of poor quality.
Its not 4 star. Can consider 2 stars.
The location is in city, but its very noisy. You can hear loud sounds of cars, trams and other vehicles in night in room.

Centrally located with good transport options and friendly staff. These are the only positive points regarding this hotel.
Opened the in room mini bar only for bottles of wine to fall out and smash, which we were charged for even though we had cleaned up smashed glass so easily proven that we did not drink them. Thats ok, accidents happen. The bar is not a bar and rather a section of reception. The breakfast room again is not a room but rather a partition of the reception area with a few tables. Breakfast itself, while it suited me as I'm not a morning eater, it would probably not suit most although the coffee from reception is good. The heating in our room stopped working on our second day and while my husband mentioned this to hotel staff several times it was not fixed. The television also decided to stop working on day two, again not fixed. The location is central so I expected some noise but constant sirens and vehicle horns beeping was very excessive. It is also located directly beside what I will describe as a building site (obviously another hotel being built next door) so we woke to drilling and the smell of what I can only describe as soldering or an angle grinder being used.
While I'm a very easy going person in general and try to find positive points, what took the biscuit was when my husband left a negative review. He was berated in a response on Google reviews by someone tagged as hotel owner and they finally finished their response by telling him that they have no record of our stay so basically accused him of lying. Maybe it was because we booked through a travel agency? Which by the way, we have just emailed to inform of the details of our trip. Although i would assume that a hotel would generally notice that and not accuse people of lying online rather than addressing the problems of the hotel.

The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was a nice plus. The hotel is situated at the lovely historic Porta Maggiore square that is situated a short 10 min. walk from the metro line A that takes you directly to the Vatican city and the city centre (Spanish square, piazza Barberini, piazza del Popolo). Also, there is a bus line that takes you directly to the Colosseum that is basically in front of the hotel.
