The hotel itself is a lot shabbier than before and the whole two weeks we were there, there was no hot water in the rooms. We also had to get the room sprayed for insects as my daughter ended up in hospital with infected bites.
The hotel is supposed to be undergoing refurbishment which will hopefully improve it, as it was a good hotel in the past but for now I would avoid. I won't be going back.
I found this extremely offensive
The service was nice enough and friendly. They made me wait for check out as they checked the room...which was silly considering the quality of the hotel. English from the front desk was fine.
Breakfast was not great. Limited choices and things were not filled very quickly. Not great taste nor quality.
The location is far from any tourist attractions like the beach front, walking street, Temple of Truth, etc. etc.
Out of the 3 elevators, one was broken. Pretty sure the 2nd one was on the way out...it was making noises.
I would not recommend this location. Find somewhere else that is cheaper. It is undoubtedly better. Or just pay a little more and stay at somewhere a little more reputable. I frankly was a little catfished by this location. No pictures as I was frankly just here to sleep and then leave ASAP.
