Great location, Taksim Square is very busy until past midnight which is great if you want to stay out late visiting cafes, shops and watch people late at night while being only few minutes walk back to hotel. This was the first and last time here in this hotel. Although the location is perfect and direct on Taksim area, however the "double-room" space is tiny compared to other hotels. I don't even recommend to take it if you have children. There are other 5star hotels with same or less prices but bigger and newer rooms. The hotel is very good located. During summer they are fully booked so if you want a suitable room make sure to book premium or business room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The guest relations manager approached us and we had a chance to address our issues but also complements. She was very professional and her approach was very supportive.

The bedroom I was assigned was old, poorly cleaned and not well insulated as I could hear all the noise from the busy traffic road. The temperature in the room was cold but I could not increase it above 21°C. Service and kindness at check-in not so good. Fee was negotiated in EUR but they charged TRY with an unfavourable exchange rate increasing the bill by 10%. Not really a 5 star hotel anymore.

Le Méridien Etiler in Istanbul has some nice features, like great views and a convenient location. However, the rooms are small, and the cleanliness could be improved. The staff were friendly, but overall, the hotel didn’t quite meet expectations. It’s okay for a short stay, but there are probably better options in Istanbul.

Yagmur was really sweet and caring. She provided us with the excellent customer service. The hotel view is relaxing as we can see marina port outside. Breakfast was top notch and we truly enjoyed it. Always a great stay here, starting with the general manager, who goes out of his way to make sure the guests are OK. To the front desk manager, all the staff, even the valet crew. And most especially Yağmur Yetiş. Everyone is amazing here. And they always make my state great. The location is great, lots of lovely restaurants, and very close to everything. Recently stayed here for a conference. Everything was very well managed by the hotel staff. Food is also very good especially the buffet lunch. I found the reception staff to be exceptionally helpful. Rooms were good but nothing out of the ordinary. Shower had good pressure and kept its set temperature.
