Reviews
Two good things are - perfect location and a nice rooftop pool (although closes at 10pm)
Front desk, guest services managers are useless, rude and unprofessional.
It was a terrible stay, I warn you never choose this hotel for your trip, it isn't worth your money.
The room was very beautiful, and we had a lovely view from the 6th floor. However, there were a few things in the room that could be improved. First of all, the wardrobe is very, very small and couldn’t even close fully. The safe was inside that closet, and I needed to put it on the floor to use it at all because it couldn’t fully open. The jets in the jetted tub were not working as they should, but I could still get a decent massage. Another issue was the pillows—they were really bad, so I had to replace them with a DIY pillow. Keep in mind that these things didn’t significantly impact my stay; I still had a great time. However, these are some areas that could be better. Also, don’t take the soundproofing too seriously, because the doors have a gap underneath, so you can hear things from the hallway. Additionally, there is some sort of disco in front of the hotel, and you can hear the bass all the time when you’re trying to sleep. I want to emphasize again that these things didn’t ruin my stay; I still had a great time. I just wanted to point them out.
2. Service
The people here were very nice, but this is expected at a hotel of this caliber. The staff did a great job managing tables at breakfast and dinner. They were also very willing to help with anything you asked, which I appreciated a lot. I would like to highlight two employees. One is a guy with black hair (well-groomed hair and hair gel) who works at reception. He is very nice, really positive, and made my stay better. I regret not asking for his name because he truly deserves praise. Another person I’d like to mention is a chubby guy who manages the luggage. You can tell he’s a nice guy, but he tries a bit too hard to be friendly, which comes across as a little annoying.
3. Food
At breakfast and dinner, there are a lot of options to choose from, and everything was as expected. The only problem is that picky eaters don’t have too much to choose from. However, if you aren’t a picky eater, there’s a wide variety of food available (scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, cereal, etc.). For picky eaters, breakfast is definitely better than dinner, as breakfasts are more standardized. For dinner, there is a pretty limited selection (4-5 main dishes and vegetables).
Absolutely miserable service. Breakfast was unbearable. Stale bread and some salad (the same kind of thing they serve at dinner). No pancakes, no scrambled eggs, nothing.
We had to go out to a bakery every night BUY the breakfast for the next (12€ every day).
Room was not bad but again wasn’t a 5 star hotel room and didn’t have soap to wash hands. We had to buy from supermarket.
Cleanliness? On the restaurant was disgusting. The staff would remove dirty dishes from the table but wouldn’t clean it after and new guests would come and seat. The floor was always sticking.
We were on half board and I couldn’t believe my eyes on the first dinner as we arrived at dinner time. Food was worse that school or hospital cafeteria. I had never seen anything that bad at a hotel.
Needless to say we ended up going out for dinner and pay it ourselves.
So even with breakfast and dinner included we ended up spending more than 400€ for breakfast and dinner because the hotel couldn’t provide a decent service.
DON’T stay here. Photos on Booking don’t do justice. Run while you can.
So the next day they did fix our rooms and got rooms on the fourth floor these were fine and had a window!
If we had to stay the whole week and those tiny rooms I would have given it one star they were really terrible.
The hotel has an included breakfast buffet which was very nice! The food was good although it was crowded a lot.
One time we went down to get some drinks and I had a wine but they charge you a lot for the there.
Overall the staff is very nice and accommodating but the rooms on the first floor are really bad and small and very warm. The location of this hotel is great! There is so much to do around and it isn't a very noisy hotel.
- good location
- nice staff
- good breakfast
- some rooms are terrible but others were fine
- very high price for a house wine
Nice location . Many shops , clubs , stores, super market, taxi stand nearby.
Hmmm. People were unfriendly, kindly exclude the Hammam / massage service. We paid for a package , but they didn't provide the massage as informed. After arguing a lot they gave back little bit money.
Kindly do not take the BOAT TRIP. Horrible experience from the boat. Food was horrible. Same with drinks.
For a stay , the hotel should be fine.
Moreover, the breakfast was not good. Very low quality and you had to try very hard to find a table since the hotel was full with not enough tables.
Room was small with no ability to move at all with the wheelchair. Also there was a bad smell all the time from the plumbings in the bathroom.
The staff was friendly and tried to help us as much as they could but for a wheelchair user this not the appropriate hotel.
The location for tourists is very good.
