The Marmara Taksim

Firstly , the staff is very kind and welcoming,we are room 315 and the lobby is very nice and nice decoration and safe great security also the gym is very nice and big the food is excellent and unique also very tasty very good chefs and the manager for the breakfast is excellent and observed the place for any mistakes that happened but when we asked for coffee they told us to pay extra(yes we got the breakfast package) which is a shame for a 5 stars hotel. The rooms is very small not match the price and the bathroom is very small I can barely walk in it also the water for the washer is very cold it’s freezing.the room service is slow it took 20 minutes and ordered two times for them to come. The room is very loud from the crowd and police down we were on the 3rd floor it is very hard to sleep also the blanket is small for two people and no toothbrush in the bathroom and no espresso machine in the room

Went to the bar of the hotel the other day which is right next to Okra Restaurant. A bit overpriced but reasonable for a hotel. The location is amazing. It’s quiet and calm, perfect for reading or laptop work.

I appreciate the quality they have, I was at a conference today. Service, hospitality, food and the view at the roof bar was amazing but it was too warm both at the conference hall and at the bar especially if you wear a suit. Definitely they need to improve temperature control. Over heating was not comfortable.

This hotel is phenomenal the view is amazing. the rooms are not small and not big it looks like a good room for 1-2 people and for people who love to enjoy nature. the service is nice people are welcoming and very kind although if this the service rook 45 mins to come which a fairly long time. I would recommend this hotel for it's nice view,food,service and people 9/10 hotel nice classic and modren and nice lobby

The location of the hotel was really convenient,
located right in front of the metro. We enjoyed our stay here with reception being really friendly and spoke english well. They also gave us a free upgrade which was a really nice experience. We definitely would stay here again when returning to Istanbul. The breakfast was really tasty with many different food options.

The only downside was the rooms got quite warm as the rooms are controlled by the hotel and the heaters were always switched on. Despite us using the thermostat, the room would be warm at night.

My wife and I stayed at The Marmara Taksim for 6 nights in a Deluxe City View room. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room size was decent, clean, and the view of the city was spectacular. I almost changed my mind to book this hotel after reading some of the other reviews, but I am glad I didn’t. The service was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurant staff and the cleaning service were amazing as well. The breakfast was very good. There were options for every taste. Everything was fresh. There were some rotating options. We never felt the need to go out and eat for breakfast.

The location is where every tourist would want to stay. It is right in the Taksim circle where all the action is. Metro is right across the street, and the taxis were always waiting/passing by on the street.

The pool and the spa were great. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, but the time we went it wasn’t busy.

Other reviews complained about the noise, we didn’t hear any street noise from the room. We did hear some very faint music on some nights. It may have been a party in the hotel, but it was very hard to hear and it didn’t stop us from sleeping.

All in all, it would be my #1 choice hotel when visiting Istanbul.

Hotel was very good and clean and 5 star(room size is small) Located in very good spot near taksim. Has nice open-air pool and Turkish Hammam as well
The only negative part i didn’t like sometime the reception attitude, always in rush and not welcoming. Rest was good

Great location, Taksim Square is very busy until past midnight which is great if you want to stay out late visiting cafes, shops and watch people late at night while being only few minutes walk back to hotel.
Note, it is very crowded, be careful.
Hotel is wonderful, not cheap, but high quality for the area, enjoyed the pool everyday. Metro station directly underneath. Easy to use.
