CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel Istanbul

I am not sure where to start. But let me say the rooms here are great. Its the view that I have a problem with. I stay at this hotel on yearly basis. But I am sad to say this will be my last stay here. The view The view The view. if your going to spend $300 a night. There are 100 better choices. First of all I was awarded a free upgrade. But to me its a downgrade. They upgrade you from the garden view to a City view. That would be the worse thing you can do. CVK is a hotel that is built under the ground. So their highest floor is only about 2 stores up from the main road. So your city view is only a street view and at 7AM its so loud its crazy. It will wake you up I guarantee it. And they cherish the Bosphorus view as if its gold. The first time they offered it to me at $80 Euros a day but then he went down after me arguing to $50 Euros when its only a $30 Euro upgrade when you purchase it on line. So to try to keep this short and sweet. Stay at Marmara next door the hotel is not as fancy but for half the price the view wither its the city or Bosphorus its 100 times better then here. I worked with 2 employees that neither one would accommodate my dissatisfaction The manager SAHIN which offered the ocean view for $50 Euros. and the assistant SULE that offered it to me for $80 Euros

I have had a horrible anxiety inducing experience at CVK taksim. I would specifically highlight the main manager who only starts the conversation by yelling. The staff was very sweet but the entire experience by the manager who is usually there in the morning (eliyas if he told me his correct name). We had an issue with our booking and he literally yelled at us for exorbitant amount of money. We had already paid the pull price of the two rooms through a third party but there was an error in our occupancy while booking. We wrote to the third party, who said the hotel can resolve it if they want by increasing the occupancy but he demanded an insane amount (keep in mind we had already paid for the hotel rooms). A similar error occurred in one of our Cappadocia hotels and they kindly amended that instead of cheating us. Outside of this too he simply yells when having a conversation. The guy needs to be fired, because otherwise the hotel staff is very sweet and kind but he gives it a bad repute. He literally gave us an anxiety inducing experience. We and other guests are not staying there for free, we are paying a premium price. The very basic your guests deserve is respect and being spoken to without being yelled at. Highly discourage you to stay there because this manager will look for an opportunity to cheat you. I also read other reviews now and most of them complain about him wish we had read them earlier.
