I had a disappointing experience with CVK hotels Taksim
. When my flight to Istanbul was canceled, I reached out to them for assistance, hoping they would help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were unhelpful and unresponsive. I tried multiple times to communicate via email and messages, but received no response. Despite my efforts to find a solution, including requesting a refund or credit for future use, they rejected all options. Their customer service was uncooperative, and it seemed like they simply wanted to end the conversation without offering any real assistance. Overall, a very frustrating experience. I hope they improve their customer support in the future. Don’t book with them. I am really disappointed with them

umran umut, the bed is so comfy, there is always good smell, the staff are so friendly and close to the heart. very good service and communication. second time visiting this hotel. i recommend it. the best place to stay. location is amazing, everything is close. and let’s not forget about the spa. very professional. highly recommend.

I’ve stayed at CVK Hotel Taksim in Istanbul several times over the years, mainly for its great location—right in the heart of Taksim Square, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. In the past, I’ve had consistently good experiences here, which is why I chose to return.
Unfortunately, this time didn’t live up to the standard I was used to. While some of the staff were friendly and helpful, I did have an issue with being overcharged for something quite small, and it was more the principle than the amount that left a bad taste. When you’re a returning guest, you hope to be treated with a bit more care and attention.
The hotel itself still has potential—it’s clean and modern, and the rooms are comfortable—but it’s lost a bit of the charm and hospitality that once made it a standout for me. Hoping management can take on feedback and bring back the level of service that made this place a reliable go-to in Istanbul.
