Courtyard by Marriott, your management needs a serious wake-up call. Today is November 28th, just days before the UAE’s 53rd National Day, and yet you have extensive renovations underway. It’s unacceptable that guests weren’t informed about the scale of the disruptions. This lack of transparency is appalling and demonstrates poor planning—especially before such an important holiday.

Despite these disruptions, you’re still charging exorbitant prices, which comes across as pure greed. Guests with limited mobility are waiting 10-15 minutes for a lift because the stairs are blocked by some unaware builders. Have the builders even considered what would happen in an emergency? If there’s a fire, evacuation would be impossible. This is a serious safety hazard that needs immediate attention. At the very least, you should clearly disclose this situation on your website so potential guests understand the conditions before booking.

The lifts need urgent fixing, and guests deserve partial refunds for this mess. I regret canceling a booking at another Marriott property to experience this chaos. Adding insult to injury, the night shift manager appears completely clueless and indifferent to the issues at hand.

To top it off, the construction workers are disturbingly loud, showing zero consideration for your paying guests. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I now need to find alternative accommodations for National Day. Absolutely unacceptable.
