Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi

Stayed at the hotel for 2 days, renting 3 rooms and it was not worth it at all, I do not recommend this hotel, and I urge the management to fix the issues that I will be raising below. My review below is based on 3 rooms, the issues I listed are for all 3 rooms. The soundproofing & noise issues were unbearable and should be taken into consideration.

Positives:

1) The rooms were nice and big, and clean.
2) The internet was very fast and easy to access.

Negatives:

1) The swimming pools were frozen ice cold, it made my children sick, it's unbearably cold.
2) Staff never asked or cared about our feedback, even though we had so many issues, lack of hospitality.
3) The food quality and taste was terrible, for a 5 star hotel, that is just unacceptable.
4) The bathroom has bad water pressure for the bidet, you are forced to shower to clean yourself.
5) The bathroom shower water temperature was acceptable, but not hot.
6) The rooms had ZERO, ZERO, ZERO sound proofing, I can hear people talking from 2 rooms away.
7) AC doesn't go below 20, but it actually never cools the room to 20, it was hot the entire time in all 3 rooms.
8) Had bad interaction where I wanted to extend, and they gave me a pricing package, then when I wanted to pay, they changed the pricing package, so I went to another hotel.
