Reviews
Now the bad things: there were 3 of us, and in the bathroom there is only one towel. Not one per person but one in total. We had to ask for more. There’s no a glass for toothbrush just a ring for a glass.
We asked for a room for 3, and they told us that they have such rooms: that was a lie: we had 2 normal beds and one small bed, which was uncomfortable.
The furniture is old and dirty, teapot didn’t work, so we had to ask to replace it, the staff is slow and completely useless and unprofessional. They kept giving us 2 waters every day, and one more time, there were 3 of us. Girl who works on reception is rude and doesn’t know how to do her job. And there’s only one person on reception. Which is not enough for such a big hotel.
The furniture by the pool is old, dirty and ruined. I guess it wasn’t cleaned ever.
Sometimes it took ages to get an elevator, as staff members don’t have service lift.
This is not a 4* hotel. With this service it’s 1* max.
We booked the hotel for a New Year's Eve (NYE) celebration at the last minute, rushing because we knew the prices in the area were skyrocketing. Before deciding to book, I read all the reviews, and to be honest, I was astonished. However, I thought it might be different since it was New Year’s, and I wasn’t expecting too much.
When I arrived, the receptionist was courteous. The hotel is mid-range in terms of ambiance, interior, and overall vibe—just as described in the reviews, it’s old.
The rooms weren’t dirty, but they looked worn out due to their age. On a positive note, I must commend the bed mattress—it was really comfortable. As mentioned in the reviews, there was only one towel and limited amenities provided. Despite noting in my reservation that I would need complete toiletries for two people, none were provided—not even hotel room slippers. I had to request these items, and they were delivered after 30 minutes. I had also read about the lack of complimentary water, so I took the liberty of buying my own beforehand. On the bright side, the room we were assigned had a good view, and we were able to see the fireworks from the Meydan area.
Now, about the food: we booked with breakfast included. As per the reviews, the choices were indeed limited. The breakfast area felt like a cafeteria or an employee lounge. To my astonishment, this is probably the only hotel I’ve visited in the UAE that serves tea in paper cups, cereals in plastic container bowls, and juices in plastic cups! I wasn’t satisfied with the breakfast at all. The value for money wasn’t worth it, and I immediately regretted including breakfast in the booking.
Overall: If you’re staying for just a night, it’s fine—just buy and bring your own necessities and dine elsewhere. However, for a longer stay, I wouldn’t recommend it. The hospitality is far from its best.
Breakfast is a joke .. seriously with such amount they would offer batter service
Varieties of dishes for vegetarians is less.
Pro:
1. The room is spacious.
2. Great location, 800 metre away from nearest metro.
Cons:
1. Some receptionist are rude. They don’t care about customer’s problem. Only the girls are good in my experiences.
2. Breakfast is suck! Poor food quality. Please have a taste before you serve, and please make it variety. You were seems unprepared for breakfast service and the customer need to ask thing all the time.
3. You have 40 floors but only 8 tables for breakfast?
4. I feel like most of your staff don’t care about customer, why? Only some of them are really good.
Room was 1star hotel 🛏️
Restaurant has 2 plates in menu
Pool is fine , people are nice
