Hotel is a good place to stay!
A special mention to Mrs. Rabiya at the front desk, she was very polite, accommodating, and professional. Her welcoming attitude truly set the tone for a pleasant stay, I really appreciated.
Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel with great service. I would definitely stay here again!

This booking through agoda at this so called City Avenue hotel was the worst experience I have ever been through among any online booking I've ever had.
The first lie is the front photo .. and then you will discover later they have 2 Hotels.. even though Google maps will lead you to the location you clicked to book.. but they are ready for you to tell you you are wrong ! You booked in another hotel .. which is belong to them and then receive what is coming down over your head!!
I booked and paid immediately.. but when arrived to the property I refused to stay and gave up what I pay ..
The bad location.. noisy neighbourhood..deterring front.. ugly entrance.. worst contract terms.. chargable, hard reaching parking.. zero welcoming.. a cashier not a reception.. completely mess..
I left and choose to give up the amount I already paid (93$)

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel for a week during my visit. Receptionists were always being helpful and rooms were always cleaned. It’s such a well designed, clean and comfortable hotel in an average area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room layout was great, and we especially loved the color of the curtains it gave a warm and cozy feel.There were a few small issues: the TV remote was missing maybe just forgotten, there were no slippers in the room, some of the furniture was a bit old, and the kettle lid was damaged. One thing that was a bit disappointing is that guests have to go downstairs to collect deliveries. It would be more convenient if delivery drivers were allowed to bring items up to the room. Not everyone stays at a hotel just to relax some may have mobility issues, be elderly, or have a disability, and expecting them to come down for essentials like food or medicine isn’t really ideal.

The room smelled stuffy, the toilet was broken so it kept being filled all night. The fridge wasn’t cleaned before I got there, there were stuff in it already.

Excellent stay at City Avenue Hotel!
Clean, modern rooms, super friendly staff, and a great location near transport and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Great value for the price – highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

It meets the basic standards, but it’s not quite at the top end of what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. The rooms are clean and come with a kettle, but no coffee or tea is provided. There’s also no iron in the room—you’ll need to ask housekeeping for one.
The location is good for tourists, with plenty of nearby restaurants and places to walk around. It’s about a 12–15 minute walk to the metro and just a few minutes to the nearest bus stop. If you enjoy walking, the area connects well to various shopping spots, especially affordable stores, which are quite popular in the UAE.
One major downside is the noise. If you’re a light sleeper, this hotel might not suit you. It’s near the flight path, and planes pass overhead every 20–30 minutes—sometimes even large ones like the A380, especially late at night. The noise can be quite noticeable!
That said, the reception staff doing their best to assist guests.
