Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk

My family and I stayed over for 3 days for my parent's wedding anniversary. Our room was very lovely, with a fantastic view of Burj Khalifa. The service was quick and very efficient.

The food was amazing! Shoutout to Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Abhay, who went out of their way to cater to our specific requests.

Also, big thank you to Mr. Fowsal from the Room Service team, who swiftly provided us with our needs upon request.

This was already our second stay and like the first time, we had such a memorable stay. We will surely come back!

Great service, excellent food, and a positive atmosphere. Special thanks to Manoj Kumal and the lifeguards, who were very professional and friendly with my 5-year-old daughter. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Dubai, but this one is my favorite. The luggage attendants are very professional and extremely helpful — I don’t know all their names, but this compliment goes to all of them. I stay here several times a year, and they consistently deliver excellent service. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service at this hotel..

We stayed at Sofitel Obelisk for a few nights to break up our journey from Europe to Australia, and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The hotel is truly grand — from the stunning giant eagle in the lobby to the beautifully appointed rooms, everything was of the highest quality.

What really stood out to us was the exceptional service. A special thanks to Charles at the front desk for his warm and efficient welcome, and to Richard and Shariff who greeted us daily and assisted with our luggage and transport — true 5-star service.
We also appreciated the attention to detail from Muhammad and Sita, who kept our room on Level 29 spotless and comfortable throughout our stay.

A heartfelt shout-out to the amazing lifeguard team at the pool deck. They greeted us and our kids with big smiles every day, creating a safe and welcoming environment. Their dedication — especially working under the intense sun — truly deserves special recognition.

Review of Ranajit & Shajna — Housekeeping at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk

I recently stayed at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk and had the pleasure of having Ranajit and Shajna take care of housekeeping in my room. Their service stood out, and I’d like to share my impressions.

What They Did Well
1. Attention to Detail
Both Ranajit and Shajna were clearly very conscientious. Everything in the room was spotless — surfaces meticulously cleaned, linens nicely arranged, and little details attended to (for example, toiletries placed just so, and clutter cleared away). Their care showed.
2. Consistency
Each day, without fail, the room was returned to a high standard. Towels replaced, the bed made neatly, rubbish bins emptied. It wasn’t just “good first impressions” but maintained throughout the stay.
3. Friendliness & Professionalism
They were warm and polite, always greeting with a smile. Despite the demands of housekeeping, they handled everything with professionalism and courtesy. It made the stay feel more personal — not just being another guest, but being looked after.
4. Efficiency
Tasks were completed without needing reminders. When I came back to the room, I could see that work had been done thoroughly. They were punctual and seemed to manage their time well without compromising quality.

I had a truly wonderful stay in Dubai. The hotel left a great impression from the very beginning: it is quietly located, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the pleasant and professional atmosphere. The staff deserves a big compliment 💗 everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
A special thanks goes to Roshan, who assisted me with such kindness every morning during breakfast. His warm smile and thoughtful service added a personal touch and made each day start off on a positive note. The breakfast itself was well-prepared, offering a nice variety in a calm and comfortable setting.
All in all, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. I look back on my stay with great pleasure and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai:)

As soon as I step into this hotel, I’m always impressed by the beauty of the lobby. The elegance of the space immediately creates a warm and refined atmosphere.

I truly appreciate every single member of the staff — without exception. From the valet service to the reception, housekeeping, and everyone working in the dining and kitchen teams — each person contributes with professionalism and kindness to make the stay so enjoyable.

The rooms are spacious, perfectly maintained, and all the furnishings are of high quality. My stay was perfect, just like the last time.

I hope to return soon. This is without a doubt my favorite hotel in Dubai.

This is my 4th time coming to this hotel and I absolutely love everything about it. The rooms , the staff , the breakfast, the pool, gym, the views. Want to give a special thank you for the hospitality and staff who has made this long stay amazing and feels like home here, especially Mr Baha who helped me with arranging the perfect one bedroom suite after some maintenance going on in the previous room we had. And Mr Ramesh you are the BEST, you are so nice and customer service minded and truly went above and beyond with your service for us during our stay. Thank you also to Isabella in club on 51 floor with her team. And Fabrice and Abhay you are also amazing! And the ladies in breakfast reception also just amazing and super friendly:) keep up the good job everyone!
