Just 10 min walk to metro station and the centre point for all attraction, near to future museum
Location is great for. Exhibition and other meetings in Diera bur Dubai
The restaurant offer a big selection of different options on the breakfast buffet but the quality of the food wasn’t that high. It should be better with less options but a higher quality of the food.
The hotel offers a swimming pool but it is on the lower ground which during the winter is lacking sun due to tall walls of the hotel.
The hotel staff is very nice, polite and is always there to help.
1. Gym is closed for upgrade but it wasn’t mentioned before or after booking. Guests were instructed to visit Ibis gym which is less than half the size and ten minutes walk away. Paying for Novotel to use Ibis amenities.
2. Ask the staff to open up door to pool area so I can do quick body weight exercise instead of walking to Ibis. Staff said there’s upgrading works going on, but its Sunday evening and I look through the door, not a single soul doing any work. Staff is just lazy to unlock the door, wait for me to do outdoor exercise and lock it back.
3. Calling from the room to ask for laundry pick up. Waited for half an hour, no one came to pick it up. Went to sleep, even after a day, no one revisit me to ask about my laundry.
4. During check in, I was told that breakfast is available prepaid with cheaper price as long as I paid the day before. After some thought, I visited back the counter to purchased the breakfast, then I was told it’s only available during check in, not after.
It’s ridiculous that such a superb hotel but entire four night experience ruined by people running it.
I really like the soap and shampoo provided with specific brand that unlike most hotels.
Beside the hotel you can get photospot with museum of the future background.
The hotel offers free shuttles to Dubai Mall, outlets, the beach, and other areas. It's a great way to get out after the exhibition in the evening for shopping and dinner.
There's a pool on the ground floor, but I didn't try it. There's also a small 7-Eleven-like shop in the lobby where you can buy food and supplies if you need them.
I go to the reception to ask them to help, the african girl was very rude and she didn’t help , i ask here to change my room she said theres no room available
