JA Ocean View Hotel

Fantastic hotel and an outstanding location.
A couple of minutes walk to the beach, amazing sea views, close to many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. As well as within walking distance to the tram station.
The service in this hotel is really phenomenal, staff are very friendly, helpful and always smiling.

Rooms and common areas are very clean and well maintained. I was very impressed with how much they care about their guest experience. It is to the point that the management team will check with us on a daily basis to see if the room has been cleaned to our expectations and if we require any additional toiletries.

I stayed there with my 16 year old son during a business trip and this hotel really is outstanding. Will definitely be coming back again.

Sometimes issues arise beyond our control but how we deal with it makes the biggest difference and to treat each person individually but equally and listen.
All I can say JA ocean will still be my favourite hotel in Dubai and Mina Hanna (front House manager) is an asset to this hotel and understands customer service and hospitality at the highest level and knows how to make guest very happy.
Currently enjoying a lovely stay with great staff, amazing housekeeping staff and front House.
Highly recommended.
Also family suite is amazing with great views and comfort.

Everything was wonderful, food in the restaurants very tasty and delicious!

Reception team, managers ,concierge , drivers of shuttle buses , cleaning staff - all make their job at the top level !

I love this hotel. The staff was amazing, I had an awesome customer experience daily.

My only disappointment was that the pool was not available in the hotel, due to reconstruction. They tried accommodating us by sending us to another of their hotels. However that hotel was not as friendly or as welcoming as the JA Ocean View Hotel. Ideally, I would have loved to relax by the pool in MY hotel.

I would like to leave the most detailed and honest review of my stay at this hotel in July 2024.
We were checked in as soon as we arrived, even though it was early in the morning. The room was nice, clean, with a view of the sea. The only thing I didn't like was the mold on the ceiling due to the humidity. All the equipment worked properly.
The breakfasts were delicious, but the same every day, nevertheless, we never left hungry. Dinners were themed, especially I liked the Latin American and Arabic food. You can find food for every taste: soups, meat, vegetables, desserts, different types of bread, fruits. The staff is friendly, you can speak English with everyone without problems. To get to the sea, you just need to cross the road and walk a little, it takes a couple of minutes. Everywhere is clean, beautiful. I would like to note that in July it is not very pleasant to swim in the sea, since the water is very hot and cloudy, you can get sick, so it is better to swim in the cold pool of the hotel.
And here we come to the not so pleasant moment: during my stay at the hotel, the pool was closed for repairs, although there was no information about it in advance. I found out about the repairs after checking in, which upset me. Such things should be warned at least a month in advance, so that people know where they are going. If you want to check out, you will still have to pay for all the days you planned to stay. Probably, the hotel was afraid of losing customers, so they did not inform about the pool repair in advance. I chose this hotel at the end of June, when I was planning my trip, there was no information about the pool repair on booking and other sites.
During the repairs, the hotel organized a transfer to another hotel by another palm tree, the water in the sea there was colder (but still hot) and very clean, the beach was private with its own sun loungers. The pool was not very big, it was often overcrowded. But it is better than nothing.
Thus, I was satisfied with the hotel, except for the case with the pool. Transfer to another hotel is good, but late information about repairs is bad.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic!!!! It is proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shopping made it incredibly conveninent. We especially enjoyed the perks of the club room and the coral lounge. The rooms were bright and beautifully decorated. The housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they truly went above and beyond! We were so impressed that we've already booked return trip in November. The weather in Dubai is perfect around that time😍😍😍

This hotel is perfect in every way.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is perfect. Right next to the beach, Tram Station and plenty of shops and restaurants.

The facilities are really good and the rooms and big and clean.

Overall very happy. We have been twice and each time we loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at the JA hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The balcony was private and had a superb view of the sea. The self serve breakfast was excellent. It was extensive with options to suit everyone. The kitchen staff cooked certain things fresh. Lovely eggs Benedict. We had dinner in the evening too. It was a buffet style and had themed nights. Lots of choices for all tastes. The food was replenished quickly so food was always fresh. I would come here again.

We are really happy with our stay with you! High class at the hotel with fantastic beds and desirable cleanliness. In this hotel everything was so nice and clean.Our room on the 19th floor was cleaned by Raj and was always there making our room first class. Breakfast was amazing too,me and my family did enjoy everything. The view from balcony was fantastic and night time views was just wow.

My wife and I have just returned from our first trip to Dubai, for our anniversary. The hotel was lovely and in a great location, right next to the beach and the marina. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, particularly those serving in the bars and restaurants. The food served was really good, considering it was a buffet (in the main Aqua restaurant) we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and choice of food available. They had a nice sports bar with lots of screens showing different sports including English football and served a variety of beers and cider. The gym was decent, with plenty of space and lots of equipment. The pool and surrounding area weren't massive but we could always get a sun lounger and the pool never seemed overly busy, which was nice. They played a variety of good music and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. The view from the balcony was lovely and we were provided with fresh bottles of water daily. The only slight negative I can really highlight was where were located in quite a busy area, the traffic in and out was sometimes manic, so plan your journeys and the other thing was at night there were often people revving their supercar engines (showing off) which if you need silence to sleep would not be ideal for you. This isn't really the hotel's fault it is just the way it is there. All in all, we had a great time in Dubai and the hotel was ideal for us.
