Novotel Sofia

Very disappointed with Novotel here. Not a very clean room, significantly small beds, no minibar, mediocre room service food and a very poor breakfast containing the cheapest salami, ham and cheese selection, cheapest frozen dishes , very low quality sausages, there's no such thing as fresh juice, it's only a diluted concentrate of different aromas and extremely, extremely poor coffee. If you want to drink the worst coffee in Sofia, this is the place to be. It was my first time here and definitely my last!

Later edit: Dear Mr Minev, thank you for the reply, I will address each matter punctually:
1. Bed size - even if it is a standard twin and that is the standard within your chain, customers that are not accustomed to such small beds need to understand what they are paying for;

2. Minibar - there wasn't a single item in the minibar, and luckily, after my meetings, I had to stop by a petrol station to buy a couple of things that I would need overnight. You can also check to see that I also ordered Room Service earlier.

3. I understood that it is standard protocol to have windows that don't open: might want to clean the vents much better next time in order to ensure fresh air is supplied in the rooms;

4. It doesn't matter if you have state of the art automatic espresso machines - I work in the industry as well, if proper maintenance of the machines is not ensured and if you buy the cheapest coffee in the market, the brand of the machine is not important;

5. In terms of salami and cheese etc, you might want to check with the kitchen and ask them what they served that day: you had the cheapest selection on the market in terms of salami (2 types) and cheese, cheapest sausage selection, some unproperly cooked scrambled eggs, boiled eggs that came after 2 hours, some frozen wedges (potatoes) and store bought spreads, also, cheapest selection (which I don't mind as long as it is good). Bread selection? Only toast and frozen partially precooked baguette. Regarding the concentrate, I tried the pineapple and also the orange. Both were bad, both had artificial after taste. Again, state of the art technology, but poor quality product. Try simpler technology, with all due respect, you can do wonders with a slow juicer and fresh fruit, you'd be surprised! And we'd be willing to pay the price, no problem whatsoever. Thank you!
