(Sep 2024) Our stay at the St. Elias Hotel and Resort in Protaras, Cyprus, was very enjoyable! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and care of the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Overall, a very nice family-friendly hotel. "Water Park" is a bit of a stretch, they have (from what I saw) 3 water slides of no great size, but we weren't there for that anyway. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, speaking adequate-to-very-good English; there were a smattering of other nationalities but everything was signposted (etc) in Greek and English.

By far the best family resort we have ever been to! Firstly, The rooms were cleaned meticulously every day, spacious and a great view! Ahmed the spa manager was helpful and informative. Secondly, the pool facilities for both adults and children are first class! Clean, safe and the lifeguards actually look after the customers! Amazing staff, the best service I have received in a hotel, every request was dealt with immediately, with a smile on the face. Really, the service experience here was the best I've had in my entire life. The rooms are large and air-conditioned. Highly recommend their Greek restaurant, a particularly delicious experience.

We had a lovely holiday however not 4 star and absolutely not worth the cost. Nothing wrong with 3 star hotels which is all i would rate this but for price disappointing as agreed with many guests we met on holiday. Need major improvements to gain ULTRA4 star in our opinion

Just left the resort after a 7 night stay. Absolutely loved every minute of our holiday. The accommodation was very clean with great air con. It was well equipped, and when we arrived in the early hours there was a fully stocked fridge with sandwiches and drinks. This 3* hotel is ideally located at the end of beautiful Fig Tree Bay, just a few minutes from the sandy beach which is gently sloping and ideal for children. Fantastic location, facilities and entertainment. Food was excellent plenty of choice even with allergies, the chef made me my own pizza with non dairy cheese and gyros without the tzatziki but everything is clearly marked with allergens which is great. All was top class. Especially the travellers guide Anna made our trip better than perfect. The activity team made everyone feel like Olympic gold medal winning athletes. I have been in many hotels, but never saw such great service. Especially many thanks for Catalin! His service and approach for tourists is above all expectations! In general, this is romantic hotel for adults with good restaurant. Entering the water is a bit inconvenient, but is solved by buying slippers

Very much a resort hotel but nice. Adults only provided a quiet stay. I would love to go back when COVID is over as the masks on masks off was a bother but not the hotel's fault. The private beach area was a bit rocky but not as crowded as other beaches in the area where they were stacking punters like deckchairs.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was a good experience. The rooms could use some refreshing, but the delicious and varied food more than makes up for it. Staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists. The beach was clean and the nearby port offered many interesting cruises :)

I was lucky enough to go for nearly 3 weeks. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food was excellent, not repeats after a week or two. The staff were remarkable, even with our slight language barrier, most speak very good English. And we made ourselves understood regardless. Would I go again. ??? In a heart beat. Excellent stay. Beautiful room on the 1st floor with a partial sea view. Comfy beds, amazing air con, friendly staff, brilliant location in the beach and a 15 minute beautiful beach front walk to the busier centre when feeling like something a little louder and more entertainment. We practically had the whole pool to ourselves during a stay at the end of September. It wasn't far from perfect.

Solid simple hotel in a great location on the boardwalk. Good breakfast, attentive housekeeping, simple but comfortable rooms with balconies. No toiletries provided and the towels were rather worn out, and weirdly there's a big vacant lot between the hotel and the sea, but overall the property is great value.

After 16 years of living in a bungalow it was a shock to find a steep narrow staircase in the apartment leading to the bedroom and bathroom. Severe lack of storage for clothes, just one wardrobe with only 7 hangers and one drawer. Downstairs air conditioner stopped working after first week, turns out it was turned off as a matter of policy. Toilet in bathroom badly stained due to poor maintenance....
