Papouis Hotel

The hotel offers great value for money – it definitely exceeds expectations for a 3-star standard. The food is tasty with a wide selection of drinks, and the rooms are new and modern. The only areas for improvement would be the cleanliness of the rooms and the music at the pool, which was sometimes too loud. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

What a great little hotel. So this hotel is located about 15 minute walk to main center of Protaras and 10 mins to the beach. 2 pools and another being built. Food was average but enough to choose from. Staff were great. Entertainment a bit ropey but all in all a nice place. On arrival late at night we were given our room and personalised water bottle .. a sandwich and fruit were left in the room, albeit dry. Coffee and tea making facilities and fridge if you need it .. aircon works well. The room was modern,bed comfortable and large. Bathroom modern walk-in shower with shower geks provided . Hair dryer in the main room, and you can borrow an iron. Our room had a pool and sea view. Meals ... are sufficient, yes, lots less choice than other hotels, but the choices or acceptable and of good quality..first evening meal I had beef from the meat counter and then pork and chicken from the other area which were delicious 😋 Minimal puddings compared to other hotels, which I think is a good thing for me as I like tasting each on .. so usually 4 choices of cake then fruit.. The cleanliness is fine . The pool area is cleaned every morning before 7 am .. including hose down .. the hotel has 2 pools open and another look built but no water in it yet. The pool bar is clean .. the music around the pool isn't that loud and the music is pop not beating dance music. Their is a gym which was a good surprise with plenty on fixed weight machine's. Cable machine ..free weights.. d 2 treadmills. Bike and elliptical machine. Sauna is also available.. I'm not sure when this is open.. . Kids entertainment and clubs during the day .volleyball in the pool . Various competitions people can join in and. a large oversized chess area. Night time I heard something going on, but I'm not sure what .. After reading some of the reviews, I has my concerns but pls done worry we have cracked it with thia hotel... for a 3 star it's great ... we like to walk but the sea is around 10 min walk lif that ... local.shops are closer... BOOK. BOOK BOOK....

We stayed in May 2025 for a week as a base for a family holiday and we were attending a wedding while we were here. Hotel is lovely very clean inside smells like a spa. They give a personalised water bottle to the lead of the booking which I think is a nice touch. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of sunbeds available. The area was great, lovely beach nearby and a 15 minutes walk into protaras. The bus service is great to, make sure to visit nissi beach and the sculpture park well worth a visit. The beaches are amazing the clearest water I've seen on a beach holiday in Europe. Nearby places are very reasonably priced such as food and drinks. Rooms were clean and plenty of towels. Shower gel and shampoo available. Tea and coffee in the room. The all inclusive was one of the better ones we've been to. Breakfast was average we weren't blown away by it. Lunch was fine lots of options and dinner was nice. A joint of fresh meat every evening and lots of different options. Staff were lovely very attentive and friendly. Entertainment package although we didn't stay much in the evenings. No complaints of the noise at all. The pool area is lovely two large pools and a smaller kids pool. Lovely views of the beach from our room. All in all I would recommend and I would stay at this hotel again for families and couples.

We stayed for a week in May. The hotel is spotless and the area is fantastic. Lovely beach nearby, good bus service and a 15 minutes walk into the main resort of protaras. Although it's closer to Per era. The area has some lovely restaurants and bars all very reasonably priced. We got given the wrong room initially but the hotel swiftly corrected this for us. The all inclusive was inconsistent. Breakfast was not very good, lunch was fine and snacks available at all times. Dinner was lovely good fresh food available and not too busy. Good drinks services all throughout the hotel and they are kind enough to bring drinks to you by the pool. A good entertainment package and staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. All in all I would recommend this hotel, had some great facilities and both the pools were great. Good for kids or just adults. I would stay here again.

We went in May 2025 and the hotel was pretty quiet and there were good sunbeds available. I read a review that there was no ice cream available during certain times, but when we ordered them from the sunbeds the servers usually said okay :) The housekeeping were kind and always smiled and said hi/good morning back. Talked with other guests and they said that this hotel should have atleast 4 stars. Staff was nice and always greeted, we had one instance where an older staff: We walked to the outside bar and said hi to the staff member cleaning. He acknowledges us and said hi but continues cleaning. We waved another staff member next to him after he was done serving other guests and then the older staff served us. Nothing no major, only thing we noted about the staff. Sometimes during dinner/lunch it was hard to get any staff members attention (to order drinks) as I think it was because it was very busy? But the first night we arrived at the hotel, many staff members acknowledged us and asked if we need anything. The food was surprisingly good, I am a very picky eater but there was something for me. Especially the pork that the staff was cutting/giving out was excellent. Only downside, that didn’t bother us was that some things seemed unfinished & one pool was empty & gated out of use and we heard some contruction noices but it didn’t annoy us. There were some ceiling tiles or lists that were sloppily put on or missing but otherwise very nice. Cleaning was okay, the bed and important bits were cleaned but I think our sink/faucet had some stains and fingerprints that could’ve been wiped with a wet rag. + We requested a higher floor and got it :) I could go again, but I think the prices get higher the closer to summer but I still think this was a very nice hotel! Recommend :)

What a lovely hotel, do clean and tidy with great facilities. The staff were mostly amazing!! Really friendly and up for a laugh. Special shoutouts to the guys on the front desk. George, exodus and ry down at the bar who always kept the drinks flowing..my room was plenty big enough spotlessly clean and the air-conditioning was great. Around the pool was great to! Plenty of sunbeds available with no issues getting a bed at all times..the location is okay just a 10 minute walk to the beach and just a bit more to the protaras *****! There is also a bus stop just 50 meters from the hotel that will take you to protaras, cavo greco ,Ayia napa and nissi beach for just 2 euros per adult and 1 euro for kids. These are an experience to say the least. The food is okay for all inclusive but was pretty same old and did get boring. Only a few small criticisms and I don't think it's necessary the hotel maybe a culture thing in Cyprus but the hotel entertainment was very lacking. In the week we was there thales had one show and it was Cypriot traditional dancing. When they did actually put any discos on it was always about 10.00 in the evening and that's when they would start the kids songs. The 2 girls who was doing the entertainment in the day couldn't even make an announcement over the speakers about a game of ping pong without giggling. Was not engaging asked if they take requests for songs and they just said yeah and that was the conversation..they went straight back to the bar.also alluring the day they need speakers set up by the second pool as you can barely hear the music unless your near the bar. And finally the entertainment area needs lights it's far to dark. I will say get someone who can interact well with guests to get the party going and this hotel would of gotten 5 starts from me.

We are a group of friends who usually always travel together on vacation. Recently we were in Cyprus to get some warmth and relax. We ended up in a hotel called Papouis hotel. It was a large hotel that looked really fresh from the outside. After checking in we went to our rooms. The room was really fresh and well cleaned. Everything was in order in the room i.e. cleaning, bedding. The bathroom was big and comfortable. In other words you can say that the room was completely spotless. The entire staff was really nice and incredibly friendly. The food was really good and varied. The service in the hotel restaurant was great. Here I have to mention a young boy who is the manager in the restaurant. His name is mr Iqbal. He is a service oriented person. He had everything in the restaurant. He made sure that all the guests would enjoy the food and feel comfortable in the restaurant. . I noticed that Iqbal always tried to have contact with the restaurant guests so that they would have a fantastic stay. I think Mr. Iqbal has the knowledge, experience and capacity to develop Papouis Hotels and this entire company. I highly recommend this hotel for your next tripp.
