I recommend
Room 3 (ground floor, behind reception and on the front of the building) was very clean and nicely decorated but quite small and dark. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the beds were comfortable.
The garden is a lovely place to sit for a drink or to read.
We loved the location and the friendly staff and will definitely choose to stay here again if a larger, brighter room is available.
However, shower water wasn’t hot which can be uncomfortable in cold Hamburg.
