Courtyard by Marriott Munich City Center

The hotel is in walking distance to the main tain station, to the old city center and to some places where you can get breakfast (if you don't choose to eat in the hotel). The staff is very helpful, uncomplicated and accommodating important requests in very short time, even at night.
The hotel rooms have aircon, a safe, large TV, fridge and are overall comfortable and allow you to relax. The bathroom could be a bit more spacious, but it is functional and has all that's needed.
Our room was to the "court" side (see picture), away from the street. It was very quite, there was no street noise at all.

Great location for walking around down town Munich. Great customer service. Gym was weak. No executive lounge. Convenient stores and diners within 100 meters. Overall great stay.

Stayed here over Easter weekend. This is a typical Courtyard hotel, nothing too fancy. Lobby and restaurant are nice. Gym is a bit dated. Hotel is walking distance to the main square and located in an eclectic area.

Excellent location , very close to main train station. Very well maintained rooms , very good food with vegetarian options.
Lidl store next door for buying necessaries.

The best part of this hotel was the extremely professional and courteous waiter, Roman, at the in-house restaurant Oleo Pazzo. He was so polite, spoke several languages, and simply conducted himself as an outstanding professional.

The food in the restaurant was delicious. Salmon or pasta dishes...you can't go wrong. Beer? This is Germany! Lots of beer options too. The prices were reasonable for a hotel.

The room were decent. We had 1 room with a King bed and another room with 2 beds (queen size I believe) plus a rollaway bed. Nothing negative about the rooms, little small perhaps from our perspective. The issue was the bathroom. Incredibly small and it was difficult when opening the bathroom door to maneuver around the toilet to get to the sink or shower/tub.

As in some hotels, you have a very high step over to enter the shower/tub. If you have balance or maneuverability issues, you may find this to be challenging to enter/exit shower/tub. No place to store your essentials when in the bathroom either.

Location: the surrounding area is a little questionable due to it's only a 5 minute walk from the Munich Train Station. However, no problems occured, yet maybe a good idea to keep your eyes open when in the area. Despite that, Marienplatz is about 10-12 minute walk from the hotel. It's a great place, lots of food, farmers market type events etc. Felt safe to walk to and fro day or night.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The location is a few minutes walk from the Munich Central Station (HBF) and very convenient if you're using the trains. Also it's a 15/20 minute walk to Marienplatz which is great. If you're an American who's traveling here, you'll need to bring an adapter for Germany to charge mobile devices that you can get on Amazon or a local shop like Best Buy, Office Depot or Target.

Great place. Needs more help in bar area during busy times. The bartender seems to be taking orders, making all the drinks, delivering them to each table, and looking after the bill. He was also looking after the dining room also.
