This hotel was booked for us as part of a cycling tour. The room and bathroom were both a decent size. We faced a courtyard which was relatively quiet. That was lucky because the AC didn’t work so we needed the window open all night. The hotel is located just outside the old town walls. It looks close but it’s a bit of walk uphill to get to any restaurants in old town. That said, we walked only 10 minutes to the passenger ferry terminal when we were heading to Helsinki. The hotel breakfast was great. Plenty of options and not too crowded. This hotel is a good option outside of old town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Ilmarine Hotel in Tallinn. The location is excellent – just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and numerous restaurants. The Baltic Sea shore is also just a short walk away, perfect for pleasant strolls. Additionally, the airport is only a 15-minute drive away, which is very convenient. The value for money is really good. I particularly recommend the rooms that do not face the main street, as it can get a bit noisy otherwise. Overall, a very pleasant hotel that I would gladly recommend.

Good - Hotel was clean - Room was clean and quiet, temperature was ok can could ve adjusted. Room was facing the busy street but it didnt bother - Breakfast was good - Nice location near Kalamaja Bad - Reception service nonexistent, no greetings, no goodbyes, no nothing - As finns we didnt mind but for some others this might feel rude

The pictures don’t do any justice but this is a very good hotel for the price point. It’s clean, offers a decent breakfast and located a short walk from both the port and Tallinn old town. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for anyone looking for a non fussy stay in Tallinn.

Excellent location near the center of the city.
Very nice staff, very helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Forgot my kindle reader, called the hotel after several days, they found it and I was able to pick it up 10 days since my stay.
Overall had a great experience. Don’t forget to book a parking space during your booking before checkin

Well located near the harbour, Rotermann and the city centre. Quite a basic hotel, but clean and functional rooms and a good breakfast. Parking (10€/24h) on the courtyard and a free gym for hotel guests. Definitely a good choice to stay in Tallinn.

A hotel conveniently located between the Old Town and the sea. If you go there by car, be VERY careful as you have to go through a gate.
The rooms are clean and nice.
The breakfast was fotmr the most part ok, especially the smoked salmon, meat cold cuts and bread. However, the scrambled eggs were totally inedible, it is something the hotel has to work really hard on.

This hotel worked well for us. We came in on the ferry from Stockholm, arrived in the morning, and could walk from the ferry port to the hotel. We checked in early and were able to leave our bags at the hotel.
It is within walking distance of lots of the nice areas, though we had a car at our disposal and went out exploring the countryside. We did pay for 1 night parking, driving into the hotel proved a challenge and we probably went about it the incorrect way but it all worked out.
The room itself was nice, large, clean. My wife forgot here Kindle @ checkout but when we returned later in the day to collect our bags and take the ferry to Helsinki, the Kindle was at the front desk so the cleaning staff had found it and returned it.
It was all good - 5 stars!

The hotel was very clean and so was our room and it was also spacious. The air conditioning worked well which is important in the summer. The only minus was the very hot bathroom floor. I set the temperature to the minimum but it didn't help at all. Breakfast was good and it wasn't crowded any morning. We stayed there for four nights.
