TUI MAGIC LIFE Kalawy Hotel

The hotel is very nice and suitable for families... The food, whether main meals or snacks, is excellent and varied. You will find fish, calamari, shrimp and seafood in general, in addition to camel meat, lamb and turkey, of course, in addition to other usual foods... Not to mention the quality of the taste itself and the different cooking methods... Most of the rooms overlook the sea and the swimming pools... The facilities are more than wonderful and all are free, whether kayaks or stand-up paddleboarding, volleyball and football fields and archery are all free and wonderful... The beaches are amazing and there is a natural shallow lake in the hotel suitable for swimming and its beach is sandy and crystal water you see the colorful fish while sitting on the beach... In addition to the marina that leads to the coral reef area for snorkeling and diving... Four very beautiful swimming pools, one of which has three water slides, and there is a second equipped for water polo and other things, and the third is very beautiful with a view above the sea... The hotel has a very enjoyable horse safari for a fee and there is a beach buggy safari for a fee as well, and the safari areas in both have natural views Picturesque on your right are the mountains and to your north is the sea directly, of course, in addition to diving and snorkeling from the hotel beach itself. The hotel is built in the beautiful Arab style and is considered a large open garden. Trees and green areas are very beautiful, and the hotel itself has very beautiful natural views, especially near the lake. The gym in the hotel is larger than most gyms in other hotels and is very adequately equipped and is located in a very beautiful open area and is also equipped for practicing martial arts and the gym. The materials used in the hotel are the most luxurious and attention is paid to all details. For example, you will not find an unknown soap, shampoo or shower gel, you will find the cleanest international types. All of this is one thing, and the professionalism of the work team and all the hotel workers is another thing. People are at the peak of politeness, taste and cooperation, starting with the security at the door, passing by the doormen, reception staff, restaurants, housekeeping, maintenance, and those who are careful on the beaches and swimming pools, and the respected gym captain, and all the people are at the peak of professionalism, cooperation, cheerfulness and good treatment. I had reserved a room with a garden view and I was accommodated with a pool and sea view, in addition to adding an extra bed because there is Children.. The animation team is also excellent and professional and literally you will not be able to keep up with the activities and parties that are held daily and you will not need to go out of the hotel or feel bored because the hotel parties end at 12 or 1 in the morning... Of course, the children have a very special Kids Club and animation dedicated to them and a complete entertainment schedule.. The precautionary measures for Corona are at the highest level. Masks are distributed to you when entering restaurants and closed places with temperature measurement in addition to sterilization fluids everywhere.. The majority of the hotel guests are German and Egyptians are very few to the point that it was completely closed during Corona to the point that there is no sign or guide sign or brochures or statement of the hotel's daily program in Arabic. The main language in the hotel is German and then English.... So my small observation is that the instructions and so on should be placed in Arabic as long as Egyptians start coming in... The hotel is exceptional and deserves more than its price

Very nice hotel, great food, very good cocktails, all the staff very friendly, only some of the "beach vendors" who walk around without masks are sometimes really annoying... please do something about it, dear hotel management... otherwise this hotel can be recommended 100%. Absolutely no problems after eating or with drinks. That's different in other hotels in Egypt. I'll definitely come back here. Thank you for the unforgettable time.

As expected of a TUI magic life resort the standards are (and should be) just that little higher than that of an average fully inclusive.

Kalawy delivers this on service with all members of staff being polite, attentive, friendly and accommodating. Food is in abundance, fresh and offering a varied selection every meal within the main restaurant, whether this is for lunch or evening dining, this was the gem in the crown.

The whole complex is very well maintained and constantly cleaned, gardens, landscape, pools and communal areas given plenty of tic 24/7.

The entertainment was very professionally put together, during the day the pool activities were staggered and unobtrusive, the relax pool is kept as such with staff ensuring this area is kept quieter than the main areas.

Bars are well stocked, staff offer to the table and poolside service, with plenty of beds (October) and the beach racked in the late afternoon and morning, with the sea clean and calm.

Fitness and other activities are readily available, I used the Aqua Spin, Spin Cycle, Step and Bounce glasses and the standard of instruction was very high.

The jetty leads out to a coral reef that has an abundance of sea life and is protected well, great for snorkel or scuba diving.

The rooms are showing signs of their age slightly, only in that furniture and patio doors will be in need of some TLC in the next 5 seasons for this to remain a high standard venue.

The only fly in the ointment (pun intended) are the flies! With so many cats and kittens present (all well cared for) does mean that cats do their business in the vegetation and there are flies everywhere! during the day, they spoilt the holiday for us and others around us, the constant swatting and waving hands ruined the experience, they get into the toilets (which are kept very clean) in the main restaurant area and whilst the hotel attempted to control them with a primitive method, this needs urgent attention, at minimum to have electric fly killers in public spaces.

Oh my gosh , I don’t know where to start. The gardens , stunning and huge thanks to the team for that. My room has been kept spotlessly clean and well stocked with drinks in the mini bar.
My first time in Egypt and the staff here, without exception, are kind courteous and so warm and friendly. I’ve tried many of the activities and there’s as energetic (boxing lesson for me) or gentle (had a go at pilates with my friend) as you like. Try them. Also please book a treatment or massage at the Butterfly Spa I had three - a bubbly body scrub and 2 different massages. I would highly recommend Shahenda, Marwan and Madelyn - wonderful ladies.
The food really is excellent, choice is amazing and if you fancy a sit down service they have other included restaurants.
Plenty of entertainment on all day and well into the evening too.

Great hotel with loads to do. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The hotel is not close to anything, but it doesn't matter, this place offers so much. Paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, dance classes, fitness programmes, the list goes on. Fancy a boat trip or quad biking, you can book trips direct from the hotel

Amazing place!
It is scuba diving heaven and the hotel has everything you need to have a great family holiday. The complex is located on a beautiful lagoon. It has multiple pools with bars and lunch bars attached to them. Beach with the bar and restaurant next to it. Slides for kids, kids club, archery, tennis, canoeing and many activities that you can book for free. You can learn wind surfing or scuba diving 😉. Plenty of short excursions to book and the hotel provides so much night entertainment. October Fest, silent cinema, shows and many more. The staff is always so nice, kin to joke, smiling and always trying to help. The buffet restaurant can be repetitive but there are always themed restaurants to book - Asian, Italian, Egyptian (these are free) and Fish and Grill ( chargeable).
It was my 3rd visit and I didn't want to go back home.

We spent an amazing vacation at Magic Life Kalawy.
Hotel is really nice but with some limitations.
Service is very good , most of staff members are friendly and do their best to make you satisfied .
Many activities to do , so you will never feel bored.
Snorkeling is outstanding, and lagoon beach is sandy and clear with very beautiful fishes to see.
Coffee house is a great place to relax and take your specialty coffee.
Food is good but not excellent.. food quality in specialty restaurants is better and tasty.
The main downside is mosquitoes and flies, our room was full of mosquitoes and this really is annoying, flies are everywhere in the main restaurant.
Location is far from every thing.

One of the best vacations I've ever had. The staff and the animation team are very nice and always friendly. I had it so well with the animators and they also understood a lot of fun. I recommend this holiday to everyone, it also has very fine food.

We booked this the day before we flew and because of how much we paid (cheap) and despite being tui 5T, we went open minded.
We arrived and wow! Spacious, light, massive building. They took our luggage to our room whilst we went to 24hour bar (12am now). We was welcomed by friendly staff who spoke english. We enjoyed the outside area with our drinks and snacks before heading to our room. The site is so big we didnt know where to start looking for our room so they gave us a lift in their (golf) buggy thing. Our room was spacious with seperate living area, king size bed and a spacious bathroom.
We slept well.
We took a walk over to the restaurant for breakfast trying to find our way following the signs aswell as asking some staff on the way.
The array of foods and the taste. Very much eyes bigger than your belly (on all meals!). Somethings i didnt like but thats not the hotel, that was my choice. Staff was always friendly and seated us, offered coffee/ drinks. (But they dont expect anything either). We left breakfast and met Adam... the only name i remember 🙈. Adam sells camel and horse rides. He was very friendly, we went to see the horses but we didnt buy which we said from the start. Good at his job but not overly pushy (like we have experienced in other places).
The hotel have sectioned a bay off, we believe to stop sharks entering. Life guards visible. Water activities avalible. Ample of bed sections with shade.
We made our way back to the room via the coastline of the hotel instead of missing the views walking though the hotel.
Drinks have a nice variety (did get drunk on their cocktails with a mix of 32° sun 🙈 ) although like many places, different staff make the drink a different way.
Gardens, beautiful.

We will be coming back with the family. As it was welcoming and friendly and a nice place to holiday.

My only picky things...
The hotel transfer with 1 drop off before was 2 hours. But on way back, straight run of 1hour 10mins

We put a do not disturb sign on daily as we was having a short stay and didnt need fresh towels/ sheets/ tidy our room but they did.

And thats all my negitives if thats what they are lol.
