Gravity Hotel & Aqua Park Sahl Hasheesh Families and Couples Only

My worst all-inclusive experience ever . Low food quality with limited varieties and same items every day . You need to spend 40-60 minutes to get a snack.
Basic room items for any 3* hotels are not available here . You need to contact room service every time to get a piece of soap or shampoo
Internet is a real disaster. Either so slow or not connected at all
Insects & reptiles are another story. Although my room wasn't on the ground floor but there was cockroach in the bathroom
Staff and people are the only good point at this hotel, although many of them are not professional but they are pilot and so helpful
Sea is so shallow, and you have to walk a distance to enjoy the good water
I don't recommend this hotel at all

I had a horrible experience
The food is terrible , there’s no variety.
My sister is 7 years old she ate nothing the past 4 days but fries and nuggets which are not even available at the main restaurant, only available at the snacks station where we stand half an hour or even more standing waiting for a plate of fries
Speaking of the snacks station by the aqua park only one employee standing cooking the food , which made the process so slow
Even the coffee machine is broken and I believe that they use fake coffee brands as coffee tastes terrible .
To be honest the only good thing in the hotel is the staff , they are so friendly and respectful
Overall , I had such a bad experience and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, such a waste of money as it’s really expensive comparing to the poor service they offer

Me and my partner stayed for a week in April. Weather was really nice, however you need to walk approximately 2 miles into the sea to actually get your waist covered. I literally starved and my partner had problem with her stomach from the low quality food so we had to get KFC and McDonald's from the nearest town(imagine that). Staff are very rude and didn't even serve my partner since she's a female. All staff are male and very rude. We paid for a room with a balcony but instead we got a room which wasn't even cleaned and there wasn't a balcony.

After explaining to reception staff that we paid for a room with a balcony, their answer was that it's quite busy and also asked us if we worked in a hotel to know how hard it is? Lol.

*So restaurants are really bad, you have birds and flies eating the food which is located inside, not outside. We gave some salami to a stray cat and she didn't even want to eat it. Even tho the cat was so skinny. Imagine the quality. The only thing we ate for breakfast was eggs, for which you need to wait 20-30 minutes.

*Bars and Pool Bars are really bad. Staff don't even understand when you ask for a mojito, sex on the beach or any cocktail. They only word they understand is beer and tip.

*Gym facilities are non-existent
You kick fallen off tiles while walking in the pool

Towels that you get every single day for pool or beach aren't even washed. Pools also smell like heavy chemicals. Really unpleasant smell.

Overall this hotel is 2* at best and that's me being generous. Language barrier and staff rudeness is the thing that really ruined my holiday. Also staff keep asking for tips but don't even have basic manners or provide any service.

Edit: I just saw that other people have mainly put 5* reviews which is absolutely shocking...

I'm currently staying here at the hotel and I want to tell you that out of all the experiences I've had at all inclusive over time, this is the worst. Starting from the first day when I arrived at late dinner in the evening I almost had nothing to eat, there is no international food at all only local in percentage 90% in the main restaurant. In the morning very few options and those poorly cooked, twice in a row I received uncooked eggs. In the first 4 days, our rooms were changed 4 times because certain things kept breaking down in the room. Coming back to the food, if you didn't arrive when the main restaurant opened to find food, you didn't eat. At the snack bar for some fries and some "burgers" because we can't call them burgers but if you're hungry they were ok, you had to wait about 30-40 minutes when it was 40 degrees outside. Countless times we went to the reception to report these things and then they told us that they would make special food for us, but you are ashamed every time you can't find food to go and ask them to make you something else and wait for an hour. Plus it was almost the same food every day. It's the first time we don't have anything to eat at all inclusive. I do not recommend this hotel and it does not deserve the 5 stars. It's a tourist trap that costs a lot. I paid the same price as last years when I was in Egypt but the service was terrible. If you are a family and have children, I do not recommend coming here with them and giving them bad food for their health. We couldn't wait to get home.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. From the beginning we had problems with room and we had three room changed 3 times and we got a decent room at last! Rooms are okay nice and clean but the bathroom however is terrible its so out dated everything is falling off the walls no water pressure whatsoever and sometimes its either cold or hot water no in between. The reception staff are rood and if you want to say something to them and they dont like it they talk about you in their lounge and laugh. The lobby bar staff in the evening is horrible extremely rude and unhappy that he needs to make drinks and we interrupt him while hes on the phone! The manager of restaurants Elsalam he would do anything and everything for you just to get money from you. Some staff were nice definitely but only a small precent of staff. The food was honestly terrible it was always cold and undercooked were its risky to eat and they dont care about it! The option of food was very little if you are a picky eater you would definitely struggle to eat here, snack bar food was a bit better than lunch or dinner. The extra restaurant you get is definitely a bit better but no so much Asian restaurant was an absolute joke, mexican was then only decent one, the italian was also okay but pizzas were undercooked and the marocco was okay depending on what sort if food you like. The sea is so so shallow you need to walk so far to get water at least up to your chest there is definitely better hotels out there! However if you choose to come here there is a mall from hotel 15min with taxi and they have restaurant to watch this was the only good food we got during 7 days! The mcdonalds felt like heaven after eating nothing here and starving! Please dont be fooled by the good reviews because they are definitely fake or written by people who never been on better holidays and think this is acceptable what is here! Am happy no one got food poisoning here!

So the holiday started of with a nightmare with rooms, got a twin room when was booked for double, had that changed and moved across the hole hotel to the other side from our family, the room was so broken down and just freshly painted, paint smell and oil stain smell it was impossible to stay in there, after changing shift we got a normal room but no balcony, but it was decently clean and tidy, bathroom is a joke in every room as we could see, no pressure at the water so water is bearly comming out, really run down bathrooms, to have showers it’s better to go outside into public area by the looks of things, food is same food almost every single night and bearly any options on what to eat, if your a picky eater you will have night mares, and by the 3/4 day you will run out of things to eat, most food is cold and undercoocked and flavourless, people serving are always unhappy and don’t really wanna do there job, cleaning people barge into rooms to clean when you have a tag on the door to say no cleaning, which is really annoying, and families members room was cleaned like that, a bit of money and packet of cigarettes was gone, no snack bars, if you want fruit you got to pay extra too, anything that’s nice and you would want and should get in a normal all inclusive here you have to pay.

Overall this is a mabey 2/3 star hotel not 5 and definitely not worth comming, avoid at all costs and try other hotels, as from other friends who have visited around Egypt in this city said there hotels where all fine, so I just got unlucky with this I guess.

Whats is really annoying in this hotel is that loud music is playing all the day long which is bad, especially if you want to chill out and relax after the beach. I understand it might a good idea for aqua disco? but why it should be like this all the day long? Everething else seems to be okay, food isn't greate but it's a budget hotel. Coral reef I like the most.Generally speaking Sahl Hasheesh is a really nice place to visit.
